Scientists froze mouse brain tissue at −196 °C using a method that prevents ice damage. After thawing, some cells worked again. Neurons fired electrical signals. Synapses stayed connected. The tissue showed activity linked to learning and memory. Cell energy systems were still working. This did not revive a brain or an animal. There was no consciousness or thoughts. The tissue only stayed active for a short time outside the body. It may help research on preserving tissue and is an early step toward possible cryosleep. 🧠❄️⚡ [Read more] @googlefactss #science#brain#research#biology#neuroscience#facts

Scientists uploaded a digital version of a fruit fly brain and connected it to a virtual body. The uploaded brain model contains about 125,000 neurons and over 50 million synapses based on real brain mapping data. In a physics simulation, the virtual fly showed behaviors like walking and moving using signals from the uploaded brain. Researchers say work like this could be an early step toward possible human brain uploads. 🧠🪰💻 [Read more] @googlefactss #science#ai#neuroscience#technology#brain#research#simulation

People have better ideas in the shower because warm water raises dopamine, a brain chemical that boosts creativity. Showering distracts the mind, helping it stop stressing over problems and work on solutions quietly. Doing a simple, relaxing task like showering makes it easier for new ideas to pop up. 🧠🚿 [Read more] @googlefactss#Creativity#Dopamine#ShowerThoughts#Brain#Ideas

Highly Superior Autobiographical Memory (HSAM) is a rare ability to remember personal events and dates very clearly. It helps scientists learn how memory works and could lead to ways to prevent or treat memory problems. The opposite condition, Severely Deficient Autobiographical Memory (SDAM), means people can’t remember personal past events well. Research is ongoing to understand these memory differences better. 🧠🗓️ [Read more] @googlefactss#Memory#HSAM#Brain#Science#Health
