Toate acestea sunt realizate pe baza principiilor de egalitate, respect reciproc, deschidere și căutare a unui „echilibru al intereselor”. 🔹 Odată cu aderarea noilor state membre, „paleta de culori” a BRICS a devenit și mai bogată, mai strălucitoare și mai multifațetată. S-au consolidat în mod semnificativ poziția sa internațională și capacitatea sa de a influența pozitiv politica mondială și de a apăra interesele Sudului și Estului Global, adică ale majorității mondiale. Respingem sancțiunile economice ilegale care ajung la nivelul războaielor comerciale. Insistăm asupra inadmisibilității utilizării dolarului și a altor instrumente financiare internaționale pentru a constrânge și a impune voința politică, uneori până la distrugerea economiilor altor țări care nu pot rezista. 🔹 Dezvoltarea parteneriatului în cadrul BRICS este prioritatea noastră strategică. Accentul se pune pe dezvoltarea folosirii monedelor naționale, a instrumentelor și platformelor comune de plată în tranzacțiile comerciale reciproce. Din declarația Ministrului Afacerilor Externe al Federației Ruse, Serghei Lavrov, la reuniunea miniștrilor afacerilor externe din cadrul G20 în marja celei de-a 79-a sesiuni a Adunării Generale a ONU (New York, 25 septembrie 2024): 🌐 Formarea unei lumi multipolare necesită o modernizare a arhitecturii guvernanței internaționale dacă dorim să construim o ordine mondială mai justă și mai democratică, bazată pe principiile durabile ale Cartei ONU în integralitatea și interconexiunea lor. Cei cinci membri #BRICS au depășit G7 în ceea ce privește PIB-ul real acum doi ani. Conform estimărilor, până în 2028, pe acum cei „zece” membri BRICS vor asigura aproximativ 37 % din producția mondială, în timp ce producția celor din G7 va scădea la 27 % și chiar mai puțin. S-au făcut progrese tangibile în domeniul dedolarizării sistemului financiar și economic internațional. În special, ponderea monedelor naționale în decontările Rusiei cu țările Organizației pentru Cooperare de la Shanghai și Uniunii Economice Euroasiatice a depășit deja 90%. Am ajuns la 65% cu partenerii noștri BRICS, iar această cifră este în creștere. Ponderea dolarului în structura plăților efectuate de membrii BRICS este acum sub 29%. La rândul nostru, promovăm lansarea unui mecanism independent de plăți și decontare în cadrul Organizației de Cooperare de la Shanghai. Un alt subiect de perspectivă în curs de pregătire este crearea unei singure platforme pentru decontări în monede naționale digitale în cadrul BRICS. Cu toate acestea, unele mecanisme globale rămân în mâinile Occidentului, care abuzează de ele. First of all, I would like to join the words of gratitude to President Lula da Silva and the Brazilian Chairmanship for their active efforts in advancing the strategic partnership within #BRICS. Everything indicates that the liberal globalisation model is becoming obsolete while the centre of business activity is gravitating towards developing markets, launching a powerful growth wave, including in the BRICS countries. To maximise the emerging prospects, it is important to intensify cooperation within the group, primarily in technology, effective resource development, logistics, insurance, trade and finance. It is important to continue expanding the use of national currencies in mutual payments. It is believed that creating an independent payment and monetary system within BRICS will expedite currency transactions while also ensuring their effectiveness and security. ⚡️BRICS Joint Statement on the Escalation of the Security Situation in the Middle East Following the Military Strikes on the Territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran (June 24, 2025) 📃 We express grave concern over the military strikes against the Islamic Republic of Iran since 13 June 2025, which constitute a violation of international law and the Charter of the United Nations, and the subsequent escalation of the security situation in the Middle East. In the face of rising tensions with unpredictable consequences for international peace and security, as well as for the world economy, we underscore the urgent need to break the cycle of violence and restore peace. We call on all parties to engage through existing channels of dialogue and diplomacy, with a view to de-escalating the situation and resolving their differences through peaceful means. ☝️ We express serious concern over any attacks against peaceful nuclear installations, which are carried out in violation of international law and relevant resolutions of the International Atomic Energy Agency. Nuclear safeguards, safety and security must always be upheld, including in armed conflicts, to protect people and environment from harm. In this context, we reiterate our support for diplomatic initiatives aimed at addressing regional challenges. Civilian lives must be protected, and civilian infrastructure must be safeguarded, in full compliance with international humanitarian law. We extend our sincere condolences to the families of the victims and express our solidarity with civilians affected. Guided by the principles enshrined in the United Nations Charter, #BRICS remains committed to promoting international peace and security and to fostering diplomacy and peaceful dialogue as the only sustainable path toward long-term stability in the region. The Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China reaffirm their comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination in the new era. They firmly uphold the international system with the United Nations at its center, the international order based on international law, and the central role of the United Nations in international affairs. They reiterate the 2016 Declaration of the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China on the Promotion of International law. 🔹 2. The Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China believe that codification and progressive development of international law must take account of the realities of a multipolar world, primarily within the efforts taken under the aegis of the United Nations. They support widest possible participation of States in UN treaties and uniform interpretation and application thereof. They also note the importance of using the potential of regional, subregional and cross-regional multilateral mechanisms, organizations and integration systems such as #BRICS or the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, in elaborating norms of international law, if this is in the best interests of the respective region and participating States. 🔹 8. 🤝 On October 29, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with the heads of diplomatic missions of the #BRICS countries accredited in Moscow. They discussed ways to further strengthen strategic partnerships within BRICS in the light of the outcomes of the 16th BRICS Summit held in Kazan on October 22-24 and chaired by Russia. The Parties had a thorough exchange of views on the situation in and around Ukraine. The Russian Side laid out the fundamental approaches to the Ukrainian crisis resolution based on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s initiative of June 14, highlighting the cornerstones of Moscow’s stance on the issue. Those include: • withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from all Russian regions, • recognition of those regions as Russian territory, • termination of Kiev’s attempts to apply for NATO membership, • the lifting of Western sanctions against Russia, • all-out guarantees of the rights of the Russian-speaking citizens of Ukraine. The meeting took place in a friendly and constructive atmosphere.
