This is tantamount to the discontinuation of all trade relations between countries, as such a tariff rate is prohibitive. Russian energy resources are supplied to dozens of states around the world, including Europe, the Asia-Pacific region, China, and India. It is downright impossible to substitute such volumes of oil and natural gas on the global market within reasonable timeframes. La Paz has expressed gratitude to the Government of the Russian Federation for its humanitarian support. #Moldova#Russophobia Using non-existent Russian threat as a cover, the Moldovan government continues to promote the idea of unification with Romania. We discussed this many times before and answered your questions on the subject matter. President of Moldova Sandu, a Romanian citizen, took this campaign to a new level. On January 12, she said she would be the first to vote for this initiative (as if anyone doubted it) if a referendum to this end were to be held. Almost on cue, practically all Moldovan senior officials, pro-government experts, and journalists expressed support for unification with Romania as well. Truth be told, this does not sound like a unification agenda, as no one asked the Moldovans what they think about it. Social surveys show that over 60% of respondents are opposed to the republic joining Romania which shows that it is not possible to deprive Moldovans of their national identity, even through the all-out propaganda campaign run by Sandu with Western funding.
