Например, в PyQt4 и PySide есть метод QHeaderView.setResizeMode Для PyQt5 и PySide2 они были благополучно переименованы в QHeaderView.setSectionResizeMode Чтобы применить этот метод следует использовать такой код from Qt import QtCompath header = self.horizontalHeader() QtCompat.QHeaderView.setSectionResizeMode(header, QtWidgets.QHeaderView.Fixed) Унификация загрузки UI файлов: # PySide2 from PySide2.QtUiTools import QUiLoader loader = QUiLoader() widget = loader.load(ui_file) # PyQt5 from PyQt5 import uic widget = uic.loadUi(ui_file) # Qt.py from Qt import QtCompat widget = QtCompat.loadUi(ui_file) Хорошо что таких моментов не много и их легко запомнить. Полный список можно посмотреть в таблице. #qt#tricks

🚗A car is no longer a luxury, but a means of transport. Today, almost everyone in our country is trying to get a driving licence to make their lives more convenient and comfortable. But what about foreigners? In the column "Myths" we will find out from Le Tie Ziang from Vietnam, a student of RTU MIREA, how he feels about driving and whether it was difficult for him to get a driving licence in Russia. Do you like driving a car? Yes, I like driving a car very much. I especially like to drive a car listening to good music and with friends! Was it difficult to get a Russian driving licence? Do you have a Vietnamese licence? I didn't have a Vietnamese licence, I had to study in Russia from scratch. And I can say that it was not very easy to get a Russian driving licence. The exam itself is not easy either, it would be easier to pass the session with a full 5. But I think it's a good thing, because if a person can't pass the test, it's better not to drive yet. Although, to be honest, there were some rules on the exam that were not very clear to me. For example, when doing the "Parking" exercise, you can only engage reverse gear 2 times. But I still passed the exam, though with the third time. What is the difference between Russian and Vietnamese drivers' behaviour on the road? Are there any peculiarities of driving? It is not particularly comfortable to drive in Vietnam, there are very narrow roads and a lot of motorbikes, which can cut you off or not let you pass. In Russia, of course, everything is not perfect either, but I really like driving. Although there is a not very pleasant feature here: if no one recognises you, you can pretend that you haven't broken anything. I'm not used to that. As you can see, getting a driving licence for a foreigner in Russia is not difficult at all. The main thing is your desire and persistence✊ #myths

👨‍💻 Have you ever had a job interview? It is a great way of getting to know an employer personally, to understand how well suited you are to each other and to discuss the details of cooperation. Today, in the column "Myths", we are going to look at whether it is difficult for foreigners to get a job interview in Russia. And Pablo Alloh from Côte d'Ivoire will help us with it. He is a biotechnologist who works in a laboratory at ITMO and is ready to share his experience. What job search services have you used? Where did you post your CV? I searched for open vacancies in the Rosmolodezh.Business channel and looked at different options on the HeadHunter portal. What languages were used in the interviews? Did you encounter any difficulties? All interviews were conducted in Russian. I had no difficulties with this. At first, I applied for the vacancy of "Workshop Foreman". The interview was quite productive, I answered questions and then I was told that they would think about it. When I interviewed for the position of food production technologist, I was given feedback straight away, but they told that I needed to improve my spoken Russian. What advice would you give to foreign guys who are just about to look for a job in Russia? I can give some advice: — When you come to Russia, draw images of the words you encounter in speech. You can do this in a notebook or on your phone. This will make it easier to learn the language; — Practise Russian, read every word you write down out loud; — Don't be afraid to make mistakes; — Don't give up, even if you are rejected by your dream company. Next time the answer may be positive🙌 As you can see, any job interview can be difficult for both Russians and foreigners, especially if you don't know Russian. But everything is solvable if you set a goal and go for it! #myths

🧑🏻‍⚕️When studying in Russia, foreign students often look for an internship or practice in their speciality. This is not only a great way to gain practical skills, but also to plunge into a language environment. Samaha Alaa Hussein, a student of RUDN Medical Faculty from Lebanon, a future stomatologist and therapist, told us what difficulties international students have to face when applying for an internship. When you decided to go for an internship, was it difficult to find an organisation providing internships for foreign students? In order for a foreign student to get an internship, a number of documents are required: a medical book, a temporary residence permit for the purpose of study or a residence permit. But even with these documents, it is not certain that you will be able to find a place for an internship. PFUR students are lucky in this matter, as our university has signed agreements with many organisations. What are your plans? Do you plan to stay here or return to your home country? I have always had plans to stay in Russia, because I love this country, I support the president. I even share it in my social networks. The main thing is to draw up all the necessary documents. What advice would you give to other international students who want to do an internship in Russia? My advice to international students who want to do an internship here in Russia is: — take all the tests; — draw up the documents necessary for a long stay in Russia and an internship; — to make friends with specialists in your speciality, so that in the future you will have support in finding a job here. We thank Samah Alaa Hussein for detailed answers to our questions and invite everyone to our hospitable country🤗 #myths

🏠Is it really so difficult for a foreigner to rent a flat in our country? Together with Mohammad Yusuf Jamali, a medical student of RUDN from Afghanistan, we will try to debunk this popular myth. Is it difficult for a foreigner to rent accommodationin Russia? What difficulties have you or your friends faced? In my opinion, renting accommodation in Russia is not that difficult. Every country, including Russia, has its own rules for renting housing. But it is very easy for a foreigner to rent a place for one day, a month, or for any other period of time. In the first days when I arrived in Russia, my problem was my passport, because, according to the rules of the Russian Federation, Russians cannot rent out a flat to a person with a foreign passport. This seems wrong to me. How does housing in Russia differ from housing in your country? The most important differences. The difference between houses and flats in Russia and in my country is not that big. For example, in my country the rooms in flats are a bit bigger than in Russia. Another thing is that in my country we cannot rent flats for a day, but in Russia we can rent flats as many times as we want. Was there anything that surprised you when you first came to visit Russians? The first days in Russia were exciting for me because I saw different cultures, different people and many beautiful places in Moscow. I think Russian people are very kind. When I had problems in Russia with my documents, a local guy was with me for about 5 hours to help me solve all the issues. I asked him why he was helping me. And he replied that I came to Russia as a guest, and locals should respect guests and help them. As you can see, the question of renting accommodation to foreigners in Russia is solved quite simply. Come to our country, we are ready to welcome you with all our heart🤗 #myths

☃️If you ask a foreigner about the weather in Russia, he is likely to say that it is "very, very cold". Visitors to our country try to take warm clothes with them even in summer, because the myth about Russia's harsh climate is the most widespread abroad. Whether it is true or not, we will find it out with Aka-Angi Dafne from Côte d'Ivoire, a student of the residency programme at the St. Petersburg State Pediatric Medical University. Of course, you knew that the climate in Russia is different from what you are used to. How did you prepare for it? Did you renew your wardrobe? I think it's almost impossible to prepare for the weather conditions in Russia, because here it can be hot one day and very cold the next day. My mum bought me everything I needed to feel well in the Russian climate. I had to completely renew my wardrobe. How long did it take you to get used to the weather conditions? Say, to the snow😁 Winter was not new for me, because I'd seen it many times in Europe, so I got used to it quickly. But of course, in Russia -30 and sometimes without snow — it's a completely new experience. What do you think about the Russian summer? Is it as hot in Russia at this time of year as it is in Africa? It is indeed hot in summer, but not as hot as in Africa. In Russia summers are drier and more stuffy. Do not be frightened by Russian frosts, because the people of our country have a very warm soul. Come to visit and see for yourself! #myths

👨‍💻Russian is a difficult language, but at the same time it’s beautiful and unique. It is said to be difficult for foreigners. But is it really so? Genovis Alexai Valenzuela Ochoa, a student of RUDN from Venezuela, shared her experience of learning Russian with us. Many people say that Russian is one of the most difficult languages in the world. Do you agree? I don't quite agree. Yes, at the beginning of my university studies it was difficult because the main subjects are taught in Russian. But after the first semester I got involved and began to perceive Russian speech more freely and to speak the language myself. Russian grammar, punctuation, orthoepy — what is the most difficult? The most difficult for me was grammar. It was hard to get used to the fact that depending on the case you have to change the ending of a word. And also the conjugations of verbs. Every time I wanted to say a phrase, I had to think about which form of the word to choose. Were there any words or sentences that caused you maximum difficulty? Yes, they were mostly verbs. For example, the verb "удовлетворять" (to satisfy, to meet). How did you study/are you studying Russian? Our university has preparatory courses for foreigners studying Russian. They became a real salvation for me at the beginning of my studies. The main thing in any business is your desire! Even in learning Russian. Dare and you will succeed🦄 #myths

☺️Have you heard the expression "the mysterious Russian soul"? This is what foreigners usually say when the character traits, traditions and everyday life of the Russian people surprise or puzzle them. Ljubica Tica from Serbia, a graduate of MARKHI, unraveled the mysteries of the Russian mentality in our column "Myths". ⠀ Myth 1: In Russia people don't usually smile at passers-by in the street, so Russians seem unfriendly. Yes, it's true. People in Russia don't smile as often as in other countries, simply because it is not customary. But deep down Russian people are very friendly and helpful. If you start talking to them, you can feel it immediately. ⠀ Myth 2. Russian people are very hospitable and love holidays. Yes, that's for sure. Hospitality is a national trait of character. I've experienced it myself: Russian people always invite guests to the table and treat them to their favorite dishes. In Russia, they love to celebrate holidays and have fun. I've always been amazed at how warmly and heartily they celebrate New Year's Eve: families gather around a big table, cook delicious and beautiful dishes, and relatives come from all over the country to spend time together. ⠀ Myth 3: Russian people are generous and ready to help even a stranger. I also agree with this one. In Russia people often help strangers: for example, in the underground they can help you with heavy bags, explain how to get to the right address or assist in other everyday matters. People are eager to spend their time and energy on this. Just ask a question and help will come. ⠀ We would like to thank Ljubica for sharing her opinion with us and wish her the best of luck in Russia. We hope that every year more and more foreigners will be able to get a feel for the Russian mentality when they visit our country! #myths

A strange believe in Russia is to avoid whistling indoors. According to belief, doing so will "whistle away" your money, leaving you broke. This superstition likely originates from old folk traditions that associated whistling with mischievous spirits that could bring bad luck. @googlefactss#russia#myths

Howick Falls is a spectacular waterfall located in the town of Howick, in the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa. Standing approximately 95 meters (310 feet) tall, the waterfall is situated on the Umgeni River. According to South African folklore, the pool at the base of the falls is believed to be home to the Inkanyamba—a giant, serpent-like creature. The legend of the Inkanyamba originates from the rich oral traditions of the Zulu and Xhosa peoples. The word "Inkanyamba" comes from their languages and is often translated as “the one who causes storms” or “the one who attracts lightning.” It is said that anyone who disturbs the Inkanyamba’s slumber risks unleashing its fury in the form of hurricanes, torrential rains, and violent storms. #SouthAfrica#nature#myths

🗺🐍Grootslang (Afrikaans and Dutch for “big snake”) is a legendary creature said to dwell in a deep cave in the Richtersveld region of northwestern South Africa, fiercely guarding its diamonds 💎 from treasure seekers. According to myth, the Grootslang was so powerful and cunning that the gods who created Earth decided to split it into two separate species — the elephant🐘 and the snake. 🐍 Yet some Grootslangs, the legends say, escaped into the deepest cave, where they have survived to this day. The cave is filled with diamonds 💎, but no one can reach them — the creature keeps watch day and night. 🌑✨ #Culture#Myths#SouthAfrica#Africa#Legends#Wildlife

#dopingpong#oiloncanvas#island#inversion#pioneers#alive#fatamorgana#böcklin#legends#myths More info: Лот 18 https://vladey.net/ru/lot/9268
