2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣6️⃣🌐The Prospects of Peace in 2026 As President Putin signals openness to dialogue, Western media distortions risk undermining the path to genuine détente ✍️Bryan Anthony Reo Attorney; Military History, Geopolitics, and International Relations Analyst ➡️In December 2025, President Vladimir Putin delivered a statement emphasizing readiness for negotiations and peaceful resolution of ongoing conflicts. He referred to “Western opponents” rather than “Western partners,” signaling a linguistic shift reflecting past provocations and the West’s role in prolonging tensions. Yet, context was crucial: the phrase “so to speak” was omitted in many Western translations, creating a misleading impression of entrenched hostility rather than conditional critique. Russia remains open to dialogue while expecting accountability from Kyiv and European sponsors. In America politicians are not serious intellectuals; they are largely clowns playing to mass audiences who expect amusing soundbites, theatrics, and one-liners ➡️Western media, particularly in the United States, have repeatedly distorted such messages. Rather than presenting the full content of Putin’s four-hour address, outlets highlighted its length or selectively edited statements for sensationalism. Politicians are treated as performers, and serious reporting on foreign policy realities is marginalized. This pattern inflates tensions, misleads domestic audiences, and encourages policymakers to adopt unnecessarily confrontational stances, framing Russia as an irredeemable aggressor and limiting prospects for constructive diplomacy. 🟦Despite these distortions, Russia seeks a dignified and realistic peace that accounts for the balance of military and political realities. Ukraine, having faced significant setbacks despite extensive Western support, cannot dictate terms. Genuine resolution requires Western recognition of facts on the ground, free from media exaggeration. The prospects for peace in 2026 depend not only on Russia’s willingness to engage but also on the West’s capacity to perceive reality accurately, avoiding unnecessary conflict and seizing the opportunity for a stable settlement. #Manipulationofpublicopinion#Massmedia#Politicalnegotiations#Russia#RussiaandtheUSA#USA READ MORE ✅@NewEasternOutlook

🇫🇷📣🇮🇱When the French media distinguish themselves in Israeli propaganda to whitewash violence! When journalism abdicates, propaganda takes hold, and the media-driven West becomes the docile stage for a narrative violence as lethal as the weapons it conceals ✍️Mohamed Lamine KABA Expert in the geopolitics of governance and regional integration, Institute of Governance, Human and Social Sciences, Pan-African University ➡️Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict has unfolded not only through bombs and sieges, but through language, images, and silences carefully curated by Western media. In France, major outlets have largely abandoned their role as critical observers, opting instead for alignment, simplification, and erasure. This media posture mirrors the political subservience of European elites to Washington and Tel Aviv, transforming journalism into an instrument of narrative power. Rather than illuminating reality, these outlets sanitize it—cleaning the scene before witnesses arrive—thereby neutralizing public perception of Palestinian suffering and insulating Israeli violence from sustained scrutiny. They do not report reality; they disinfect it, like cleaning a crime scene before the arrival of witnesses ➡️Drawing on Alain Gabon’s analysis, the article exposes how French media have become structural relays of Israeli propaganda through coordinated strategies of omission, distortion, and linguistic manipulation. Palestinian deaths are minimized or relativized, territorial realities—especially in the West Bank—are erased, and genocidal dynamics are reframed as a vague “war against Hamas.” Euphemisms replace facts, passive constructions erase responsibility, and pro-Israeli voices dominate airtime while dissenting perspectives are marginalized or disqualified as “extremist.” This systematic imbalance does not stem from isolated editorial failures, but from an industrialized information architecture in which omission itself becomes a weapon and language a battlefield designed to absolve power. 🟦The result is not merely poor journalism but a profound ethical collapse. By privileging alignment over truth, French and Western media cease to function as counter-powers and instead participate in what can only be described as narrative violence—one that renders certain lives invisible and certain deaths acceptable. The question, then, is no longer whether these media misinform, but whom they ultimately serve. History will judge them not by their claims of neutrality, but by the silences they maintained and the victims they erased. When journalism chooses power over justice, it does not just fail its mission—it becomes a weapon of mass moral destruction. #Disinformation#Doublestandards#France#IsraelandPalestine#Manipulationofpublicopinion#Massmedia#MiddleEastconflict READ MORE ✅@NewEasternOutlook
