Some Android users (i.g. Oppo/Realme/Vivo) reported that their Telegram app auto download media to their gallery. They already go to the Settings and toggle off the setting as usual but still the media auto-downloaded to their gallery. How to fix 1️⃣ Open a file manager app (i.g. Amaze File Manager, Solid Explorer). Go to Internal Storage > Telegram > Telegram Audio/Documents/Images/Video 2️⃣ Create a “.nomedia” file using file manager in those folder. @Telegram#Android#tips

Why not add ghost mode feature to Plus Messenger? ❌BAD NEWS Plus Messenger does not provide ghost feature because it is forbidden by Telegram API Terms of Service: "1.4. It is forbidden to interfere with the basic functionality of Telegram. How to convert my group to supergroup? To convert a normal group to a supergroup, do any of the following: • Make the group public. • Change group chat history visibility. • Restrict a member. • Change admin permissions or admin title. • Activate 'Slow Mode'. • Link group to a channel. • Import group chat from other app. The group will also become supergroup automatically when its members reach 196. Note: "The group was upgraded to a supergroup" notification won’t show on Plus Messenger v5.2 and newer.

When Telegram first introduced public chats in March 14, 2016, Iranians and some other countries were banned to join public chats. Telegram is the most popular IM in Iran so there are many spammers from Iran. Recently Telegram removed this restriction. Iranian users can now join to public chats but In read_only mode, Which means they can only read the messages of the group, but they can't send any messages. Iranian users can create public chats with their Iranian numbers, join to the public chats which have Iranian owner and send messages there.
