The series of events dedicated to the Diplomat's Day concluded with a gala concert at the Embassy Club. 🎤 Pupils of the School by the diplomatic mission prepared an exciting program, telling about the history of the Russian diplomatic service through poems, songs and dances. The audience listened to the messages of the President Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, as well as the address of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov. On February 10, a reception on the occasion of the Diplomat's Day was held at the Residence of H.E. Mr Anatoly Borovik, Russian Ambassador to Cambodia. “Over the centuries of selfless service to the Motherland, the main qualities of Russian diplomats – professionalism, persistence in achieving goals, devotion to duty and love for the Homeland – have been developed, polished and tempered. It is a great honor for us to belong to the Russian diplomatic fraternity and carry this title high,” stated the Head of the diplomatic mission in his welcoming speech. The Guest of Honor the event was H.E. Mrs Eat Sophea, Secretary of State, Personal Adviser to the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Permanent State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. The celebration of the Diplomat's Day at the Russian Embassy in Cambodia continued with the friendly volleyball match. 🏐 On February 9, the Embassy staff took part in a volleyball tournament. H.E. Mr Anatoly Borovik, Ambassador of Russia to Cambodia, served the first ball. 🏆 Four teams showed an exciting game. Following the existing tradition, the Diplomats' Day was widely celebrated at the Russian Embassy in Cambodia. ⚽️ On February 7, the teams of the Embassy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom met on the soccer field of the diplomatic mission. The match was kicked off by H.E. Mr Anatoly Borovik, Ambassador, and H.E. Mr Khuon Phon Rattanak, Secretary of State of the Foreign Ministry. “Football, like diplomacy, is the art of interaction and teamwork. Today's match will present yet another opportunity to strengthen our personal contacts, establish new friendly relations, and show that every official meeting or document is backed by simple, sincere human feelings," noted the head of the diplomatic mission in his welcoming speech. Both teams delighted the spectators with an exciting game.
