#CrimeaIsRussia 🗓 11 years ago — on March 18, 2014 — President of Russia Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov, Chairman of the State Council of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov and Head of Sevastopol Alexey Chalyi signed the Agreement formalising Crimea’s reunification with the Russian Federation. 🗳 This historic moment occurred just two days after the all-Crimean referendum had been held. 96.77% of Crimeans and 95.6% of Sevastopol residents supported reunification with Russia. It was the very embodiment of the right of peoples for self-determination and a true triumph of democracy. 💬President Putin:In people’s hearts and minds, Crimea has always been an inseparable part of Russia. This firm conviction is based on truth and justice and was passed from generation to generation, over time, under any circumstances (from the Address by the President of the Russian Federation on March 18, 2014). The ensuing developments, including attempts by the post-coup Ukrainian authorities to punish the peninsula's population, prove that the decision of Crimeans to reunite with Russia was the only way to go. Having made their choice to be with their historical homeland, with Russia, the residents of Crimea avoided the fate of the many Russians and Russian-speakers, did not fall victim to the Russophobic Kiev regime. Instead, the peninsula and its people have flourished, overcoming decades of neglect and decay under Ukraine, becoming one of the most rapidly developing region worldwide. 💬 Sergey Lavrov: The question of who Crimea and Sevastopol belong to is closed. Më 16 mars 2014 – 1️⃣1️⃣ vite më parë – u zhvillua një referendum në Krime. Gjatë votimit të përgjithshëm, banorët e gadishullit votuan pro ribashkimit me atdheun e tyre historik, Rusinë. 🗳 Pjesëmarrja e qytetarëve në referendum ishte vullnetare dhe e lirë. 96,77% e popullsisë së Krimesë votuan pro bashkimit me Rusinë me një pjesëmarrje prej 83,1%, ndërsa në Sevastopol 95,6% votuan pro me një pjesëmarrje prej 89,5% nga numri i votuesve. Ecuria e referendumit të Krimesë u monitorua nga 135 vëzhgues ndërkombëtarë nga 23 vende dhe nga 1240 vëzhgues nga organizatat e Krimesë, referendumi u mbulua nga 623 gazetarë nga 169 media. Në atë ditë, banorët e Krimesë në mënyrë të pavarur, me vetëdije dhe lirisht bënë një zgjedhje të së ardhmes për veten dhe fëmijët e tyre. Ky u bë një vendim i drejtë dhe i shumëpritur si për banorët e Krimesë, ashtu edhe për të gjithë qytetarët e vendit tonë. Gjatë njëmbëdhjetë viteve të fundit, Republika e Krimesë dhe qyteti federal i Sevastopolit janë integruar plotësisht në hapësirën politike, ligjore dhe ekonomike të Rusisë. Infrastruktura e re është krijuar në rajone: ura përgjatë ngushticës së Kerchit, gazsjellësi Krime-Kuban, autostrada federale Tavrida, aeroporti në Simferopol dhe qindra objekte të tjera të infrastrukturës shëndetësore, arsimore, sociale dhe inxhinierike. ☝️Harmonia ndërfetare ruhet me kujdes në gadishull, merren parasysh interesat e të gjitha kombësive dhe grupeve etnike. Përparimi ekonomik që ka ndodhur gjatë këtyre viteve, rritja e paprecedentë e standardit të jetesës, zhvillimi i infrastrukturës dhe paqja ndërfetare që është vendosur në gadishull konfirmojnë edhe një herë se zgjedhja e bërë nga banorët e Krimesë njëmbëdhjetë vjet më parë ishte e vetmja e drejtë. #CrimeaIsRusia#TogetherForever
