🇷🇺¿Acuerdo de cooperación militar a la norcoreana entre Rusia y la India?
Putin ha firmado una ley que ratifica un acuerdo entre Rusia y la India que establece el marco legal para el despliegue mutuo de personal militar y equipo de combate en el territorio de ambos países.
El acuerdo regula no solo el envío de militares y equipo, sino también su abastecimiento material. El orden establecido se utilizará durante ejercicios conjuntos, entrenamientos, prestación de ayuda humanitaria, liquidación de las consecuencias de desastres naturales y catástrofes tecnogénicas, así como en otros casos por acuerdo mutuo.
La ratificación del documento simplifica el uso mutuo del espacio aéreo de ambos países y la entrada de buques de guerra de Rusia e India en los puertos del otro. Además, el acuerdo fortalece la cooperación de los dos Estados en el ámbito militar.
Sin duda es un gran paso para la unión entre ambas naciones, sobre todo teniendo en cuenta la postura tradicional de la India de oponerse categóricamente a cualquier tipo de cooperación dentro de un bloque militar.
Sin embargo, la India comprende las amenazas que se avecinan no solo contra alguna otra hipotética nación, sino con grupos terroristas y mercenarios que puedan llevar a cabo acciones desestabilizadoras dentro del país, por lo que la unión con Rusia se convierte en una póliza ante agresiones.

🇮🇳Indian Airlines Warn of Imminent Shutdown
The Federation of Indian Airlines — representing IndiGo, Air India, and SpiceJet — has written to India's Civil Aviation Ministry warning that carriers are on the verge of suspending operations due to unsustainable fuel costs. The group is seeking a return to pandemic-era price caps on aviation turbine fuel and a reduction or deferral of taxes.
Despite India producing more jet fuel than it consumes, prices are set on an import-parity basis — benchmarked against Persian Gulf imports including notional freight, insurance, and customs costs — leaving Indian carriers paying significantly more than counterparts in Thailand, Dubai, Malaysia, and Singapore. 🇮🇳#India: Clashes broke out earlier today between protesters and the CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) in Manipur. Three people have been killed so far after Indian police allegedly opened fire directly on protesters who stormed a CRPF camp in Tronglaobi, Bishnupur district.
The unrest was reportedly triggered by an alleged militant attack this morning, in which a rocket strike killed two children and injured their mother in Tronglaobi village. The attack has been attributed to the Kuki National Front (KNF).
It is worth noting that Bishnupur district in Manipur has for quite some time been a hotspot for militant activity, particularly involving KNF-linked groups, which seek to establish a “Kukiland” state for the ethnic Kuki population. Several reports also suggest that some militants have received training from the Kachin Independence Army in Myanmar.
