#Announcement 🇷🇺🇨🇳 On April 14-15, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will pay an official visit to the People’s Republic of China, as part of which he is scheduled to hold talks with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi. The Foreign Ministers will discuss a broad range of issues related to bilateral cooperation, prospects for contacts at various levels, and coordination on the international stage, with a focus on joint work within the #UN, #BRICS, the #SCO, the #G20, #APEC and other multilateral mechanisms and forums. A substantive exchange of views is also expected on a number of pressing international and regional issues, including the Ukrainian crisis and the situation in the Middle East. #RussiaChina

#Announcement The registration for the Russian Language World Championship for Foreigners-2025 is now open. The Championship is an international contest and educational event that brings together teams from around the world to showcase their Russian language skills, ability to defend their point of view, engage in discussions, solve logical problems, work as a team, and demonstrate creativity. ℹ️ In order to participate, you must form a team of 5 people of 16–22 years of age, with each member having at least an A2 level of Russian language proficiency. The team must also have a coach (aged 21 or older) who will guide and support the team throughout all stages of the competition. Last year, the Russian Language World Championship for Foreigners brought together over 2’000 participants from all over the world, including countries like India, China, Greece, Vietnam and various Latin American nations. The final was held in "Tsarskoye Selo", with the team from Kazakhstan taking first place. 🌐 In 2025, teams will be grouped by geographic region: former Soviet countries, Africa, Asia, America, and Europe. The top ten teams that successfully complete the online stage will be invited to the final round in Moscow, Russia, to be held in December 2025. #Announcement 🌐 On June 5–6, Nizhny Novgorod will host the Global Digital Forum. The Forum is a unique platform for international digital cooperation, built on trust, respect, and equal opportunities for all nations. The event will bring together representatives of international and regional organisations, governments, companies, academic and scientific communities from 122 countries. Over 1'500 international guests are expected to attend in person, with an additional 10'000 participants joining online. Attendees will take part in high-level sessions with top industry leaders, contribute to shaping digital trends, unlock new opportunities for knowledge and partnerships, discover Russia's IT achievements and sign cooperation agreements. 🤝 The Forum’s mission is to identify solutions forbridging the digital divide and strengthen the technological capacities of Global South countries. #Announcement 🗓 On May 27-29, 2025, in Moscow, Secretary of the Russian Security Council Sergey Shoigu will chair the 13th International Meeting of High Representatives for Security Issues. Invitations to participate in this forum have been extended to more than 150 states of the Global South and East, the #CIS, #CSTO, #EAEU, and #SCO countries, as well as to the leaders of more than 20 international organisations. The agenda of the 13th forum focuses on international security cooperation. ℹ️ The Security Council of the Russian Federation has been holding the annual international meetings of high representatives in charge of security issues since 2010. It is an important international platform for exchange of views on all global security-related issues and mechanisms to strengthen cooperation between partner countries to combat international terrorism, extremism, transnational crime, drug trafficking, as well as new challenges and threats. #Announcement 🗓On September 15-22, 2024, the III Open World Astronomy Olympiad (OWAO) will take place in the Federal Territory “Sirius”. The Olympiad is based on the best astronomical traditions, which brought together world-renowned specialists in the subject. The event aims to strengthen scientific and educational partnerships with other countries as well as to identify talent in astronomy. 👉 The age of the Olympiad participants must not exceed 18 years, while the minimum age threshold is not established. Not only captivating tasks but an extensive cultural program comprising lectures, creative and educational workshops and excursions are awaiting the participants.
