Студенты лингвострановедческого курса «Знакомство с Россией» приняли участие в акции и написали диктант на арабском языке. 📆 В этом году «ЭкоТолк» проходит по всему миру до 24 октября 2025 года. RU/EN 📍Монумент «Отец солдата» расположен в городе Гурджании. Его воздвигли в память о героях Кахетии, не вернувшихся с фронтов Великой Отечественной войны. 📍Памятник изображает главного героя художественной кинокартины «Отец солдата» (1964 г.) - Георгия Махарашвили, который вместе с фронтовыми товарищами совершает героический путь до Берлина, проявляя бескомпромиссную волю и стойкость характера перед всеми ударами судьбы. Работа скульптора Мераба Бердзенишвили была открыта 9 мая 1978 года на одном из самых живописных холмов Гурджании. 📍Монумент входит в число самых пронзительных памятников и знаковых мест Кахетинского края. Вместе с пятью башнями, символизирующими каждый год войны, «Стеной памяти» и «Стеной вечности», 15-метровая бронзовая скульптура «Отец солдата» формируют масштабный мемориальный комплекс. Он является не только важной локацией во всех туристических маршрутах Грузии, но и одним из главных мест, где проводятся мероприятия, приуроченные к памятным датам. #Россия 📍The monument "Father of the Soldier" is located in the city of Gurjaani. The monument depicts the main character of the 1964 film "The Soldier's Father," Georgy Makharashvili, who, together with his comrades-in-arms, makes a heroic journey to Berlin, showing uncompromising will and fortitude in the face of all the blows of fate. 📍The work of sculptor Merab Berdzenishvili was unveiled on May 9, 1978, on one of the most picturesque hills of Gurjaani. The monument is one of the most poignant monuments and landmarks of the Kakheti region. Together with five towers symbolizing each year of the war, the "Wall of Memory" and the "Wall of Eternity," the 15-meter bronze sculpture "Father of the Soldier" forms a large-scale memorial complex. It is not only an important location on all tourist routes in Georgia, but also one of the main venues for events commemorating memorable dates. #Russia

📍By October 1941, the Germans, seeking to capture Moscow, had advanced significantly into Russia thanks to their numerical and technical superiority. General Guderian's troops, having captured Orel, unexpectedly approached Tula, leaving only 180 kilometers to it. The city was defended only by an NKVD regiment guarding the operating defense factories, an anti-aircraft artillery regiment, and worker fighter battalions. The Supreme Command transferred the 5th Airborne Corps and the 34th Border Regiment to Tula. 📍Fierce fighting began in the suburbs, as Tula was an important center of the defense industry and a key target for the enemy. The Nazis sent three tank divisions and one motorized division to Tula. The workers' guard, Chekists, and anti-aircraft gunners bravely resisted the attackers. During the first days, the defenders destroyed 31 enemy tanks and many enemy soldiers. 📍After the capture of Orel, Tula went on martial law. Workers' fighter squads were organized, and the city was fortified: anti-tank ditches were dug and barricades were built. Hospitals took in the wounded, communication with units was established, equipment and weapons were repaired in factories, and the defenders of Tula were supplied with provisions and warm clothing. The city was able to hold out, and about 250 residents were awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union. On December 7, 1976, Tula was awarded the title of Hero City and the Gold Star medal. #Russia#Tula

📍A memorial has been erected in the city of Liege, Belgium, in honor of the Allied forces that liberated Europe during World War I. 📍The monument, created by father and son Alexander and Igor Burganov, is part of a memorial erected in 1968. 📍Russia handed over the sculpture “Russian and Soviet soldiers who fell during the First and Second World Wars”. 📍In the center of the composition is a Russian monument installed in 2001 with the support of the Center for the Preservation of Russian War Graves Abroad under the Russian Ministry of Culture. The base is engraved with an inscription in Russian and French: “To Russian and Soviet soldiers who fell during the First and Second World Wars”. 📍The monument required restoration over time. The project was developed by the Belgian Federation of Russian-speaking Organizations and the non-profit association “Meridian” with the support of the Russian Embassy in Belgium and local authorities. #Russia#WorldWar

RU/EN 🥇Российские школьники победили на XVI Международном турнире по информатике IATI 🗓Соревнования проходили 9-13 апреля в Болгарии. В старшей и младшей возрастных категориях участвовали сборные из семи стран. В состав сборных от России вошли 24 человека. Они состязались в формате онлайн с использованием системы прокторинга — электронного контроля за проведением испытания. Задания представляли из себя шесть задач на языке программирования C/C++. 🥇Всего столичные школьники завоевали 17 наград —10 золотых и 7 серебряных медалей, а также рекордные 110 дипломов — почти половину всех наград. 🎉Поздравляем ребят с победой и желаем новых свершений! Teams from seven countries participated in the senior and junior age categories. The national teams from Russia included 24 people. They competed in the online format using the proctoring system - electronic control of the test. The tasks consisted of six problems in the C/C++ programming language. 🥈In total, the schoolchildren from the capital won 17 awards - 10 gold and 7 silver medals, as well as a record 110 diplomas - almost half of all awards. 🎉We congratulate the students on the victory and wish them new achievements!
