Client, customer и consumer Client – клиент: Человек или организация, которые получают услуги от профессионала или компании, часто в сфере услуг. The lawyer met with her client to discuss the case. As a graphic designer, I have many clients who rely on my services. Customer – покупатель: Человек или организация, которые покупают товары или услуги, но не обязательно устанавливают долгосрочные взаимоотношения. The customer returned the shirt because it didn't fit. A satisfied customer is more likely to recommend the store to others. Consumer – потребитель: Человек, который использует или потребляет товары или услуги, независимо от того, покупает ли он их сам или получает в подарок. The consumer reported a defect in the product to the manufacturer. Modern advertising targets the consumer's preferences.
