Мы все слышали про FOMO, да? А теперь еще одно слово нам в копилку:-) FOBO — Fear Of Better Options FOBO refers to the anxiety people feel when making decisions, worrying that a better alternative might exist. This can lead to indecision and procrastination. Examples: • Hesitating to choose a restaurant for fear of a better one. • Delaying acceptance of a job offer, hoping for a more appealing opportunity. FOBO can cause stress and hinder personal growth, as the fear of making the wrong choice overshadows enjoyment of available options. So, do you have FOBO? #For_you_to_know#Vocabulary

10 Reasons People Don’t Make Useful Connections – even though they wantto: 1. They think only amazing projects will attract people, but they end up eating instant noodles while others steal their clients. 2. They’re scared to message first, worrying about what to say, and later regret not just sending a simple “Hi!” 3. They believe professionals only talk about work, so their only chat is with a colleague asking for project details. 4. They avoid small talk, thinking it’s fake, but serious conversations often lead to awkward silence. 5. They wait for the “perfect moment” to network, thinking they’re not important enough yet. 6. They believe connections happen naturally, but the last time they met someone new was ages ago. 7. They think important people are too busy for them, while those people are reaching out to others. 8. They believe all good connections are taken and new people aren’t cool enough for collaboration. 9. They pretend they don’t need anything to avoid looking needy, even though they do. 10. They think contacts are useless if no project is offered right away, so they unfollow them too soon. А вы ловили себя на подобных мыслях? Признавайтесь:-) #General_notes

Conditional Statements: If you finish your homework, then you can go out. If it rains, then we will stay indoors. Logical Sequences: First, we will study, and then we will take a break. Когда мы хотим чего-то достичь – мы всегда стараемся найти примеры тех, кто уже прошел этот путь, и научиться у них, перенять опыт. After all, success is not just for the chosen few; it’s within reach for all of us! The journeys of remarkable individuals show that with perseverance and the right mindset, we can overcome any challenge. If they could do it, so can you! Вот, например, Oprah Winfrey: Oprah Winfrey's story shows that anyone can succeed, no matter how difficult their start in life is. She was born in a poor family in Mississippi and faced many challenges, including a tough childhood. Despite this, Oprah worked hard and never gave up. When she was young, Oprah moved to live with her father in Tennessee. She did well in school and loved to speak in public. After finishing school, she started working in media as a news anchor. But her big break came when she began hosting "The Oprah Winfrey Show" in 1986. The show became very popular because Oprah connected with people and shared important stories. Oprah's success did not just make her famous; she also used her platform to help others. She started the Oprah Winfrey Foundation to support education and help young people in need. Success stories of famous people show us that greatness is not reserved for a select few. With determination and a deep understanding of the psychology of success, we can all achieve our dreams. ✨ #General_notes

В нашем закрытом канале Take It Easy весь текущий месяц мы обсуждаем secrets of successful communication. Поделюсь инсайтами:-) What makes a good interview?

Workfluencers: Marketing Trend of 2025 Employees are increasingly becoming faces of their brands on platforms like TikTok and Instagram. Companies are moving away from expensive influencers to their own workers, creating "workfluencers" who share insights about company culture. What is this new approach about? 🔹Authenticity Over Glamour This strategy builds trust and aids recruitment, as studies show that users trust employees more than official messages. Employee-generated content can attract talent and reflect shared values. 🔹Real People Behind the Brand In a café chain, a manager who started as a barista now represents the brand on social media, showcasing the fun side of the company and enhancing both their career and the brand's image. 🔹Cost-Effective and Trustworthy Many companies spend significantly on traditional influencers, but employee content often results in better engagement and trust. Brands are already using this approach to highlight real employees. Speaking about potential risks, this trend has challenges, such as the risk of employees sharing sensitive information and questions about compensation for those who become media figures. Is it a lasting change? Employee-generated content is becoming a new form of corporate communication. As trust in traditional influencers declines, employees sharing honest insights may become the most credible voice for brands, potentially setting a new standard in 2025. #Business
