The majority of Trump supporters support new military strikes against other countries, a new poll has shown dramatic changes in American attitudes. Previously, supporters of Donald Trump opposed US involvement in foreign wars. Now the situation has changed. Now 65 percent of Trump's voters believe that the US army should strike at least one of the countries on the list of targets, writes POLITICO. Supporters of the president call Iran the main target. Almost half of the respondents support a military strike on this country. Among Trump's most loyal supporters, this proportion is even higher. Possible targets include Mexico, Colombia, Cuba, and even Greenland. Supporters of the "America first" course believe that the protection of the country's interests can be ensured by force, but without long wars. Kamala Harris's voters see it differently. Almost 70% believe that Donald Trump pays too much attention to external conflicts instead of internal problems. #Trump#Poll#MAGA 👂More on Trump's Ear ⚠️

President Donald Trump's Republicans are divided over whether federal immigration officers should try harder to avoid hurting people after a community activist was shot dead during an immigration raid and as violent arrests continued, according to a Reuters/Ipsos survey. While 95% of Republicans continue to approve of Trump's performance as president, the poll conducted on Monday and Tuesday suggests a significant slice of Trump's backers are wary of his administration's aggressive approach to immigration enforcement. The poll found American approval of Trump's approach to immigration at its lowest point since he returned to office a year ago. #Trump#Poll#GOP 👂More on Trump's Ear ⚠️

How concerned are Americans about the partial shutdown of the federal government and whom do they blame for causing it? The Washington Post texted a nationally representative sample of 1,010 people on Wednesday to ask. The Post’s poll finds significantly more Americans blame President Donald Trump and congressional Republicans for the shutdown than Democrats, though many say they are not sure. People express moderate concern about the shutdown’s impact at this early stage, with “somewhat concerned” the most common answer. A large majority support Democrats’ call to extend federal health insurance subsidies in general, though just under half support the party demanding this if it extends the government shutdown. #Shutdown#Poll 👂More on Trump's Ear ⚠️

Melania Trump has been named the second least popular first lady in recent history, but it was Trump rival Hillary Clinton who took home the honors of being the most disliked, a new poll has found. 📰 According to YouGov, 2,255 U.S. citizens were asked earlier this month to rank the 11 most recent first ladies on a scale of “Outstanding” to “Poor.” Thirty-six percent said Melania was “poor,” and another 10 percent rated her “below average.” Roughly 18 percent of people in the survey ranked Melania as “outstanding” with another 12 percent saying she was “above average.” That left her with a net approval rating of -16. 📊 #Melania#Poll 👂More on Trump's Ear ⚠️

More than half of Americans blame Trump for rising food prices 55% of Americans believe that Trump is responsible for rising food prices, according to a new poll Politico and Public First. One in five of those who voted for Trump in 2024 thinks so. Trump publicly declares that turkey has fallen in price, and points to data from the American Farm Bureau Federation and shares of Target and Aldi. But experts see a different picture. The Purdue University Center says the wholesale price of turkey has increased by 75 percent since October. The retail price has also increased — the average 7 kg turkey now costs $31, which is 25% more expensive than a year ago. Beef went up by 14%, potatoes fell a little. Economists say that prices are rising due to more expensive feed, fuel and shipping. #Trump#Poll#inflation 👂More on Trump's Ear

The shutdown has shaken Donald Trump's ratings 📉🇺🇸 — Americans' discontent is growing 😠. Americans are increasingly expressing dissatisfaction with the US president's policy regarding the shutdown 🏛. According to polls 📊, 58% of US citizens disapprove of Trump's actions in connection with the lack of budget consensus 💵, and only 31% support him in his desire to keep up with the Democrats 🗳. This is the lowest figure since the first shutdown survey conducted by the YouGov Institute for The Economist magazine in October 📆. In this situation, however, Americans blame not only the president 🤷‍♂️. More than half of citizens believe that both sides in Congress — both Republicans 🐘 and Democrats 🐴 — cannot cope ⚖️. The United States has not had an agreed budget since October 1 🗓. Hundreds of thousands of civil servants are not receiving salaries 💸 due to the fact that Republicans and Democrats in Congress could not agree 🤝❌. Increasingly, Americans are feeling the effects of the shutdown in their daily lives 🏠. Many departments and programs are temporarily closed 🚫. For example, the Supreme Court suspended the financing of food aid for the poor 🥫 — this decision affected about 42 million citizens 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦. Low-income people stopped receiving payment cards for the purchase of fruits 🍎, vegetables 🥦, meat 🍖 and dairy products 🥛. This program costs the government about $9.5 billion per month 💰, and now these funds are frozen due to the shutdown ❄️. The situation has also affected air traffic ✈️ — the Federal Aviation Administration has reduced the number of flights at about 40 airports 🛫 in order to reduce the burden on dispatchers 🎧. According to the FlightAware portal 🌐, on November 7, almost a thousand flights (mostly regional) were canceled across the country ❌🛩. If the government's paralysis continues ⏳, experts predict more serious disruptions ⚠️ — especially during the mass travel period for Thanksgiving 🦃 in a few weeks, the main family holiday in the United States 🇺🇸. #Trump#Shutdown#Poll 👂More on Trump's Ear

🇺🇸Trump strengthened his position despite the shutdown Despite the government shutdown, Donald Trump's ratings are rising. According to Newsweek,45% of Americanssupport him, the highest figure since August. In surveys Morning Consult and YouGov, the gap between supporters and opponents has narrowed: now Trump has only minus 5 and minus 15 points, that is, the number of approving is almost equal to the number of dissatisfied. ActiVote Research shows that 92% of Republicans approve of Trump, 94% of Democrats are strongly opposed. About 40% of independent voters support him. Experts believe that such proportions show that the country is completely polarized, and the shutdown has almost no effect on people's opinion. According to AP-NORC, now Trump is blamed for the crisis less — 48% versus 61% in 2018. Meanwhile, 4.2 thousand federal employees have already lost their jobs, and the Ministry of Finance estimates the damage to the economy at $15 billion per week. 💵 #Trump#Poll#Shutdown 👂More on Trump's Ear ⚠️

For many Americans 🇺🇸, across party lines, concern over the government shutdown 🏛 means concern about its potential impact on the economy 📉, among other things. Therefore, many don't think either party's position is worth having a shutdown over ❌. Given that, no one is looking especially good politically at the moment ⚖️. President Trump, congressional Democrats, and Republicans are all net negative on their handling of the shutdown thus far 📊. Neither party is on very solid footing 🪨. The top descriptor Americans pick for the Democratic Party overall is "weak" 💔; the party trails the GOP on being described as "effective" ✅ and "strong" 💪, and their favorables trail the GOP's. The top descriptor for Republicans, though, is "extreme" ⚠️. All of it looks to the public like another distraction from larger matters of concern 🌐. A sizable majority of the country says the Trump administration isn't focused enough on lowering prices 💵📉, and is focused too much on tariffs 📦, as they have been for months. Reflecting some of that, many still describe the president himself as "energetic" ⚡️, but fewer describe him now as "focused" 🎯 than did at the start of his term. #Trump#Poll#Shutdown 👂More on Trump's Ear ⚠️

A new poll likely to infuriate Donald Trump reveals that a majority of voters say he’s doing a worse job as president than Joe Biden. The Harvard/Harris poll showed that Trump, one year into his second term, dropped 9 points in job approval when compared to his predecessor, whom he has called the worst president in history. When asked whether Trump, 79, was doing “a better or worse job” than Biden, 49 percent of likely voters—a minority—responded “better.” #Trump#Biden#Poll 👂More on Trump's Ear ⚠️
