In a room full of power, the first man they chose to protect, or remove, was JD Vance. Why? The secret services did not rush Trump. They rushed Vance. What does that tell you?

@beirutreview25 wrote: "Hours after the killing of Lebanese journalist @AmalKhalil83 Amal Khalil in town of Tiri, South Lebanon, in what was described as a deliberate airstrike by Israel, and after ambulances were prevented from reaching her for hours, a question posed to US President Donald Trump at the White House sparked widespread anger among Lebanese. The question came from @MTVLebanonNews correspondent in Washington, @anthonymerchak, known for persistently questioning Trump about Hezbollah while consistently avoiding questions about Israeli aggression. This time, at the White House on April 24, he crossed a line, raising his question just hours after Khalil had been buried. Instead of asking, on behalf of the Lebanese people, how the killing of civilians and journalists continues using U.S.-made missiles despite a ceasefire announced from the White House, Merchak chose once again to echo his previous stance. He presented a complaint to the U.S. president about Lebanese law, specifically the law banning normalization with Israel. Trump responded by saying that such a law should be abolished. The question drew sharp criticism online, with activists resharing the video and pointing out what should have been asked instead: "How did you feel while my colleague Amal Khalil was being killed?" or "What did you feel as thousands of Lebanese homes were destroyed?" or "What did you feel when 450 Lebanese were killed in a single minute on April 8 with U.S.-made missiles?" It is worth noting that the primary purpose behind securing MTV access to the White House, facilitated by Antoine Sehnaoui* and lobbying groups supporting him in Washington, was to repeatedly provoke Trump into making hostile statements against Hezbollah, and to entangle him in political positions that could be used for internal pressure in Lebanon. At key moments prior to the recent war with Iran, Trump often responded to the correspondent with clear indifference, reflecting that the Lebanese file was not a priority for him, contrary to what MTV and its backers had hoped. Ironically, MTV had recently promoted claims that Washington would pressure Lebanon, during meetings with ambassadors, to abolish the anti-normalization law with Israel. Yet Marshak's own question revealed that Trump had not even been aware of the existence of such a law in the first place. [Who is Antoine Sehnaoui? Find out in post below] See the video of Merchak below, exactly as he chooses to present himself to the world...like a good goy.

Watch this so you know who is truly defending us... who our men are... the Israeli enemy tries to break us with these scenes... But instead, it revealed something else entirely: how steadfast these young men are, how deeply rooted they stand in their land. When you see them, you understand just how profoundly the Lebanese authorities have failed their people. This is what strength in negotiation looks like... this resilience, this unshakable faith. They fight for me and for you until their very last breath. Zionist Israel released this footage from Bint Jbeil to break us but by God, it filled us with pride. These heroes make us feel capable of reaching the moon. We bow our heads in reverence to you 💛💛💛

Entire neighborhoods in South Lebanon are being erased... my hometown, Khiam, reduced to rubble before the world's indifferent gaze. And what do our incompetent president and prime minister do? Bow, submit, and grovel for approval at Trump and Netanyahu's feet while their own people are buried under debris. This is a disgrace. A nation abandoned by those entrusted to defend it. We will remember very well who stood firm to protect us and who chose humiliation over dignity.

A message from martyred journalist Amal Khalil... here is a translated transcript of her message: "We have now completed a full year covering the Israeli aggression on South Lebanon. For an entire year, I have been in the field, day after day, as a correspondent for Al-Akhbar newspaper. This year has been heavy... it has changed us, matured us. It taught us to hold even tighter to our principles, to our beliefs, to the choice of resistance, and to the conviction that resistance alone protects the land, that it alone stands firm against the Israeli enemy, nothing else does. To everyone who advised me to reduce my movement along the southern border, especially after the Israeli threats I received, my answer was this: our Hussaini faith and our southern, revolutionary upbringing have always taught us to say, "If only we had been with you." And the moment came for me to be with the people of the South the people of truth, who embody the cause of Karbala, who live its teachings. They stand in the face of a tyrant who kills, and in the face of oppression they remain steadfast, speaking the truth. Everything happening to the people of the South is simply because they dare to say "no." [*call for prayers*: "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah… I bear witness that there is no god but Allah."] My alignment with the people of the South, my presence among them since the July 2006 war, has always been the right choice. They have always lived up to that faith placed in them. And they will remain so, even after loss. They will grow stronger, more steadfast, and more committed to this unwavering compass, toward truth, and toward Palestine." ~Martyred Journalist Amal Khalil.

Amal died. She was alive for so long talking to her family and colleagues from under the rubble. But the imps in the Lebanese presidency and prime ministry took all the time they needed to grovel at the feet of the enemy through the U.S. terrorist mechanism, untill Amal died of the wounds she sustained from the zionist strikes on Lebanese land. I refuse to say "Israel violated the ceasefire". What ceasefire? From day 1 ...WHAT ceasefire? Israel killed Lebanese civilians on DAY 1 of that ceasefire. Khalas. Burn down Israel.

Al Akhbar journalist Amal Al Khalil was deliberately murdered by the Zionists. They blocked aid and recovery until she died….under the rubble, perhaps still alive, trying to stay alive until rescue came, it never came. She was betrayed by her own regime, the US Ambassador another Zionist tool and left to die alone. Anyone who tries to two-side this regional conflict is lying to themselves. There is no power on earth right now that rivals the Zionist-US-Colonialist cabal in cruelty, savagery and barbarism, total inhumanity that extends into pure evil without touching the sides. "It was Amal that fled and sought refuge in the building after you attacked her car Amal has been declared dead after her body was located in the ruins of the building attacked by Israeli jets. Amal has been murdered by Israel, who knew where Amal is. They saw her face on their advanced drones. They heard her voice on her phone which they have access to like all cell towers in Lebanon. This is who they killed" [Lebanese News and Updates on Telegram]

From caves of terrorim and car bombs to high fashion shoes and watches worth hundreds of thousands, the contrast reveals a deep sense of repression and a compulsive drive to compensate for it at the expense of a population whose resources and basic services, from electricity and education to healthcare and even bread, are being stripped away. O' Syria.

It's not that the Lebanese government genuinely believes the "Hezbollah" has been defeated to actually do what it has been doing since January 2025, no one is that oblivious. The real issue is that the state has effectively aligned itself with the opposing side in Tel Aviv, adopting its framing and perspective. It now looks at the party much the same way Netanyahu does. So there's no point in giving them the benefit of the doubt or expecting some sudden awakening. No point in trying to reason with them and to call on them for any "sane" or "dignifying" action. They chose their own path and we are solid on ours. The war will end, and we will return to our land. And those who rose to power in Lebanon only to align themselves with our enemy against us, their own people, will come to deeply regret the position they chose.
