Dr. Leila Nicolas writes on X: Israel has launched unprecedented strikes against Iran. Over time, and through several key junctures, Iran has gradually lost its deterrence posture. Two pivotal moments mark this decline: 1. When Ismail Haniyeh was targeted on Iranian soil and Tehran chose to maintain "strategic restraint". At the time, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah delivered a speech stressing the necessity of a response, framing the matter as one tied to Iranian national dignity. 2. The second, and most decisive moment, came with the assassination of Sayyed Nasrallah himself, an event that went unanswered with a crushing retaliation, neither against Israel nor within the region. In the aftermath, deterrence collapsed completely, and Netanyahu emerged emboldened, going so far as to publicly threaten the Supreme Leader of Iran. To restore deterrence and protect itself, Iran now faces two options: 1. Launch a conventional military response that matches the scale and impact of Israel’s aggression, reasserting strength through force. 2. Develop a nuclear weapon, establishing an alternative form of deterrence to compensate for the collapse of its long-invested "forward defense" doctrine. Without either path, the next objective on the table will be nothing short of regime change [in Iran].

Israel claims its targets are Iran’s “nuclear facilities”, yet once again, it bombs residential neighborhoods. The pattern is clear: a colonial entity like Israel built on terror cannot act otherwise. Once a terrorist, always a terrorist

Israel has launched strikes on Tehran, assassinating Hasan Salami, the head of the IRGC. In doing so, it may have committed the gravest miscalculation in its history. Historians will one day write that Benjamin Netanyahu, driven by an insatiable thirst for power, set the Israeli entity on fire, igniting a regional inferno that may consume far more than he ever imagined. A countdown has started...for whom exactly..is yet to be seen.

A pretty shocking clip is circulating online of an LAPD officer on horseback tramples a protester who then falls in front of another horse. As others try to help the protester up, an LAPD officer wields a blunt weapon to strike the protester, but strikes a nearby horse in the head. Guess who helped train the LAPD? The same force that has spent decades perfecting the art of occupation, surveillance, and crowd control, not just in the name of “security”, but in the systematic repression of a people. Who else uses horses to trample unarmed civilians, both in the streets it patrols abroad and in the lands it occupies by force? Here’s a hint: They’re currently committing genocide in Gaza, live-streamed for the world to watch, and yet they’re still exporting “tactics” to police departments across the globe. Israeli forces have conducted joint training programs with U.S. police departments, including the LAPD, under the banner of “counter-terrorism”. But let’s be honest: this isn’t about security. It’s about the militarization of civilian policing, the normalization of brutality, and the transfer of occupation-style enforcement to urban America. From the West Bank to Los Angeles, the logic is the same: crush dissent, control communities, and do it under the guise of law and order.
