Fianna Fáil's stunt candidate for North Inner City, Caio Benicio, knocked out on the 7th count with 441 votes. The Brazilian delivery rider was credited in the media for neutralising the Algerian suspect in the knife attack on children and their carer on Parnell Square last November. A gofundme was set up in his honour which raised him €370,000. When interviewed across the media, Benicio never mentioned the Irishman and Frenchman who also contributed to neutralising the attacker. They were omitted from the great majority of coverage and like Benicio today, received nothing. 👉🏻join Late Stage Ireland

Looking good for Independent Michael Burke in fourth place on the 7th count in Donaghmede (5-seater). At the protest outside Mel Sutcliffe's home, Burke remarked: "We're being ethnically cleansed from the land...There are 80 NGOs who go to work Monday to Friday looking for racists in Ireland, but there's not one NGO for indigenous Irish people." "I'm after being in the Lebanon protecting Palestinians...and we have the right to exist too. This is our country. We have to be the majority." 👉🏻join Late Stage Ireland

Stephen Kerr from the Irish Inquiry missed out on the last seat in Castlebar, being knocked out on the 14th count after picking up 395 total transfers, but finishing ahead of the candidates from People Before Profit, Sinn Féin, Independent Ireland and Labour. Castlebar missed out on electing a capable public representative who would have likely served them well, but what impact the residents of the large IPAS center in Breaffy had on the election results is unknown. 🔗x.com 👉🏻join Late Stage Ireland

They're trying to gaslight the public that the systematic, widescale mobilisation of foreigners to engage in our electoral system cannot be described as foreign interference and implying that the people correctly identifying it as such are bad actors or conspiracy cranks. Gearóid Murphy made an excellent point on a stream a couple of nights ago: if Russia was bussing huge numbers of military-aged Russian men into towns and villages across Ukraine for them to vote in a referendum on whether the country should be annexed or to elect public representatives, there would be outrage from the so-called international rules based system. In fact, people would find their attempt to distort democracy comical, but this is exactly what they're trying to pass off for democracy in Ireland. 🔗thejournal.ie 👉🏻join Late Stage Ireland

Four of the names he mentions are Indians and I'd venture a guess that their LEAs all have large numbers of cricket enthusiasts. Of course he's pleased. https://t.me/keith_woods/5358

Citizen journalist Kevin Coyle (@kevdbc21) tallied in fifth place in the Artane-Whitehall six-seater on 7.7%. Unluckily, the OG citizen journalist Rowan Croft (@gt5x5) wasn't as successful this time but his transfers could assist Coyle. The Artane-Whitehall LEA is home to the very successful and inspiring Coolock Says No protest movement. 🔗x.com 👉🏻join Late Stage Ireland

Some respectable scores for the National Party candidates who quadrupled their vote. Be interesting to see what transfers they get. Redmond did very well in some boxes in Finglas and could get all of Leon Bradley's 5%. 🔗x.com 👉🏻Join Late Stage Ireland
