The leaders of the west who claim to be christians don’t give a damn about religion, either theirs or anyone else’s. For the Anglo-American ruling class, all cultural and religious beliefs and differences are tools to be dissected, rebuilt and weaponised in order to create dissent, control populations and provide apparently ‘divine’ justifications for their heinous crimes. And their crimes have nothing to do with either god or the devil. They are merely the logical extension of the market economy – of the inner workings and inescapable contradictions of the capitalist system of production for profit. They are the result of the imperialists’ desperate drive to restore profitability to their failing system through war, conquest, looting and ‘reconstruction’. 👇️️️️️️

I spoke at our party’s international event in west London. On the platform were representatives of the embassies of the DPRK, Cuba and China. I gave an overview of the global situation and talked about the Nato imperialists’ apparent aim of fighting WW3 without mobilising their own people. If they can maximise their war budgets and create enough proxy armies, they will keep telling us that WW3 is something they are trying to avert – even as they are launching aggressive wars all over the world. They are also creating fascistic regimes of repression and labour discipline at home without yet having to resort to open fascist methods (ie, use of armed militias to attack the organised working class). Right now, British police can enforce the most fascistic laws in a very polite way because the working class is simply not organised to defend itself. All over the world, peoples are struggling to stay free and to liberate themselves. They are opposing the war drive and defending themselves. An excellent discussion with comrades Alex McKay and Joti Brar following the World Anti-Imperialist Platform event in South Korea in 2023. As Comrade Joti explains in this video, Korea was partitioned by the Soviet Union and the U.S.A. after the Second World War. Once the North was capable of standing on its own, the Soviet Union withdrew. The U.S.A., however, never left. And let all those who are genuinely desirous of bringing about meaningful change for the working class (ie, actual progress, not more of the same) take note: while a genocide is in motion right NOW; while new theatres of war are being opened up all over the world right NOW; while the government is right NOW enacting fascistic legislation to suppress all dissent, these jokers want to keep shouting 'hope' and 'change' while asking you to do nothing meaningful NOW but instead ... prepare for the 2029 general election. Knowing full well that you could elect a parliament full of Karl Marxes and it wouldn't make a jot of difference to the daily business of imperialist Britain, which is run not from Parliament but from the Square Mile and associated gentlemen's clubs. How many times are we going to let them get away with the same damned trick???
