We are trying an experiment.... we're gowing maters and squash on a cattle panel and roots in the earth. We're also gunna take IBC totes and cut them in half.... and fill half of the tote liner with sand, top it with coconut husks and then topsoil. It's a wicking bed. I'll connect several totes in series so that they overflow from one to the other... when water comes out the last one, they'll all be full. Anyone got any input that might save me from a mistake? We're going to grow same veggies side by side with these two methods.

We had a cloudy day yesterday and another off gridder took almost til 2pm to get his batteries full... but they got full. Any day he hits 100%, he's living free. The graphic was from yesterday... right now today, he's making max power for his system 13.3kw , 11.5kw of that is going directly to batteries.

Crazy man..... producing 17.7kw, 22.7kw "on the table" unused. Battery nearly full, house, rv and EV charging. Man, this solar stuff makes you live like a primitive barbarian.... lol. 8 years ago when I started my solar journey all I could find was people living with specail fridges and lead acid batteries.

I just scheduled a series about water pumps on the "off grid kid" channel for the next 3 or 4 days. After I created the articles, it dawned on me that some adults might like this info as well.
