Explore the most prominent Russian artist collectives — AES+F, Bluesoup Group, Provmyza Group — in the second article on video art in partnership with Riskusstvo. These art groups have greatly contributed to the evolution of video art in Russia and have come a long way from their first experiments to the big projects, nowadays often exhibited in museums worldwide. Currently some of their works are exhibited at the 'Art for the Future' Biennale, which is running at the Moscow Multimedia Art Museum until April 3, 2022.

In order to support authors aiming for international socialization, we are launching a new column called #PostSoviet. The culture of the Post-Soviet states has a stamp of recognizable signs in different parts of neighboring countries. Currently, we are witnessing new transformations: mass relocations and the formation of a new reality that has a strong impact on culture. In the new #PostSoviet column, we want to reflect on current turbulent processes in close relation to the legacy of the past years and forecasts for the future shadowed by uncertainty. ODRA has launched a new blog by street art researcher Ira Kustova @kuuustira. She will share her take on the evolution of street art around the world and how it has inspired Russian artists. The column is available by link in bio and will be updated regularly. "The pioneers of Russian graffiti are three masters who later became examples of domestic graffiti for several generations of novice writers. Max "Navigator", Vadim "Rat" and Oleg Basket inspired Russian graffiti. Russian writers begin to develop their own styles, synthesizing techniques, materials and tactics of work that came from the West: Wild Style, tagging, bubble letters and Throw-up." https://odraplatform.com/streetartblog

Hello to those who have joined our channel. We at ODRA believe that it is important to continue documenting and systemising the latest developments in Russian contemporary art. Even though the international landscape may never look the same for Russian contemporary art, the efforts of artists, curators and all others involved should not be left unnoticed. Many people are now in need of a portfolio in order to find a job overseas. We are ready to help and publish your texts. Please send them to [email protected]
