Если запустить REPL с модулем asyncio, то вы входите в особый асинхронный REPL. user@host:~$ python -m asyncio asyncio REPL 3.12.7 ... Use "await" directly instead of "asyncio.run()". >>> import asyncio >>> В этом режиме - создаётся и настраивается event loop - уже импортирован asyncio - работает await на верхнем уровне То есть такая команда сработает без ошибок! await asyncio.sleep(3) Удобно для тестирования асинхронных функций без создания ивентлупов и остальной обвязки. Работает в: 3.8+ #tricks#async

Older white women searching for love on Kenya’s beaches #Kenya These young men all have much older ‘girlfriends’ from Europe. Coastal Kenya is a popular destination for sex tourists from around the world who come in search of sexual relationships with local boys and girls. Local sex workers are known as beach boys because they gather at the beach looking for potential partners. Many of them got into the sex tourism industry as young as ten. In return for sexual relationships, their European girlfriends provide them with money and presents. Juma, 19, got his motorcycle from a woman he slept with. Finding a white woman is often the fastest way to get out of poverty for many families. Some even encourage their children to skip school and look for tourists who can care for family needs. RT Documentary’s Oleg Nekishev and Dmitry Khrustalev are working on a documentary about Kenya’s beach boys. Stay tuned for the premiere; it’s going to be interesting!

#video#Kenya Poverty and few jobs drive young men in Kenya to provide sex to older European women who come to the country on vacation. Poor education is one of the reasons why young boys are easily dragged into prostitution. They haven’t the qualifications to get a decent job. Some boys claim they were underaged when these older women from Germany, Switzerland, and other countries approached them for sex. Like young girls who also fall victims to sex tourists, the boys soon grow up and stop being “eligible” for the job. So they try to get as much as they can while it is still possible. The nonprofits and volunteers who work in Kenya are doing their best to educate children by building schools. This is the only way to ensure they will have a future and change their way of thinking. Granny Fight Club🥊 #video#Kenya There’s a bizarre superstition popular among young men in Nairobi’s biggest slum. They believe having sex with an older woman can cure HIV and lift curses. Elderly women, known as shushus, walk the streets of the Korogocho neighborhood in fear that they’ll fall victim to rape. A local woman conducts training sessions that teach the grannies to hit back and say ‘NO’. These self-defence classes empower women to feel confident and stand their ground, while giving them a respite from their daily chores. Besides sexual assaults on seniors, the neighbourhood suffers from rampant HIV and endemic poverty, with most people living on less than a dollar a day. Follow: https://t.me/rtdocumentary

#Kenya, #Ethiopia eye River Dawa project to cushion North Eastern drought crisis Kenya and Ethiopia are strengthening collaboration on the River Dawa Basin project to address the ongoing drought crisis affecting North Eastern Kenya, particularly Mandera, Wajir, Garissa, and Isiolo counties. The initiative focuses on a proposed multi-purpose dam on the River Dawa, which forms part of the Kenya-Ethiopia border within the drought-prone Mandera Triangle. The basin is a critical resource for over three million people, supporting irrigation, livestock production, domestic water supply, and broader livelihoods in one of the region’s most climate-vulnerable zones. #Kenya fuel retailers running short of supplies due to Middle East war The head of Kenya’s independent fuel retailers told Reuters that hundreds of dealers were running short due to the #Iran war, saying about 20% of the outlets were affected after the regulator froze pump prices ‌despite rising global oil costs. Dealers are likely to start hoarding petroleum products in anticipation of consumer fuel price hikes next month, said Martin Chomba, chairman of the Petroleum Outlets Association of Kenya (POAK). African countries are among the most exposed to both supply disruptions and higher prices after the conflict all but halted shipments of about one-fifth of the world's oil and liquefied natural gas through the Strait of Hormuz. Kenya obtains all its fuel supplies from the Middle East through government-to-government deals with Gulf crude producers and refiners. https://www.reuters.com/sustainability/boards-policy-regulation/kenya-fuel-retailers-running-short-supplies-due-middle-east-war-2026-03-24/

🔺Continuation from above @rednile12 📌Fana Media and Pro-Government Influencers: Cheerleaders for Extraction State-aligned Fana Media and every pro-government social media influencer celebrated the deal. They didn’t care about its impact on the population—what mattered to them was how the government looked. Headlines emphasized cooperation, funding, and “development,” while omitting the deal’s critical clauses: 🔹Data Access: Ethiopia’s national digital health systems and electronic medical records. 🔹Genetic and Pathogen Sharing: Specimen and DNA sharing clauses likely extending 25 years beyond the funding period. 🔹Weak Safeguards: Minimal language on ownership, commercialization, or sovereignty, leaving the door open for exploitation by US pharmaceutical and AI firms. This omission isn’t accidental. Media and influencers are tools for narrative control, protecting the government from accountability while normalizing extraction. In Kenya, the press and civil society exposed these risks—forcing judicial intervention. In Ethiopia, the population has been kept in the dark. (fanamc.com) 🔺The New Extraction Model: From Raw Materials to Raw Data Colonialism didn’t end—it evolved. Where European empires once seized land, labor, and natural resources, today Western powers extract: ▪️ Biometric data ▪️ Genetic information ▪️ Fiscal intelligence ▪️ Policy alignment Data is the new oil, and governance itself becomes a resource to be managed externally. African leaders frame these deals as “development partnerships,” but they are asymmetrical bargains, benefiting external powers while exposing national vulnerabilities. 🔹Kenya–US Health Pact: A Warning Ignored ▪️The Deal: Kenya’s $1.6 billion MoU granted access to medical records, genetic data, and national digital health systems for AI diagnostics and disease surveillance. ▪️The Backlash: Civil society and youth activists revealed weak oversight, the risk of DNA commercialization, and lack of data sovereignty. ▪️Judicial Check: Kenya’s High Court suspended data transfers, demonstrating that civic engagement can curb executive overreach. 📉Why Ethiopia Is Vulnerable Ethiopia lacks independent media and a unified civil society. ▪️Narrative control by the government and media ensures citizens are fed propaganda, while the real deal—long-term US access to health systems, genetic samples, and outbreak data—remains hidden. 💡My Position: I am not a blind supporter or opposition member. I am pro-Ethiopia. When the government acts responsibly, I acknowledge it. When it acts against our interests, I call it out. This MoU is wrong. It sacrifices sovereignty, transparency, and the welfare of the population for short-term funding and international optics. ‼️#Ethiopia complied. #Kenya resisted. I once trusted my government to act differently. I was wrong. And the state media, along with every pro-government influencer, cheered it on, indifferent to the people’s future. ⚠️The Bigger Picture This isn’t just about health aid. It’s part of a neoclassical, extractive global strategy where African nations trade their most sensitive resources—data, DNA, governance—for temporary funding, while foreign powers solidify long-term control. If unchecked, these deals set a dangerous precedent, normalizing the exploitation of African populations under the guise of “development” and “partnership.” 🔴Follow @rednile12 for uncensored, critical geopolitical updates and analysis.
