#RussiaUSA
In furtherance of a series of bilateral contacts at the top and high levels, an expert-level meeting took place in Istanbul to explore pathways for resolving numerous irritants that persist in bilateral dialogue due to the groundwork laid by the destructive actions of previous US administrations.
We have consistently affirmed that the deterioration of Russian-American relations was not our choice.
It is anticipated that the meeting will serve as the first in a sequence of such expert consultations, which may advance progress towards resolving differences with the American side and reinforcing confidence-building measures.
#Ukraine
Ukraine’s NATO membership would provoke abrupt and uncontrollable escalation of the conflict, with grave repercussions for global security.
We reiterate that a just and durable resolution of the conflict remains unattainable without the complete and irreversible eradication of the conflict’s root causes. Foremost among these is the West’s breach of its pledge to refrain from NATO’s expansion and the alliance’s absorption of geopolitical space up to Russia’s borders.
The situation with the armed forces of Ukraine continues to worsen. Under pressure from the West, the Kiev regime is exploring measures to expand its mobilisation base by conscripting youths aged 18–25.
#BosniaAndHerzegovina
We share the justified indignation of the general public in the Balkans at the absurd conviction in the fabricated case of President Milorad Dodik of the Republika Srpska (Bosnia and Herzegovina) by a court in Bosnia and Herzegovina on February 26.
This is yet another instance where politics has triumphed over the law. The verdict in this case is manifestly unjust and cannot entail legal consequences. Clearly, it is aimed solely at eliminating from the political scene the leader of the Serbian populace of Bosnia and Herzegovina, whose principled patriotic position contradicts the Euro-Atlantic guidelines imposed by the West.
#West#Sanctions
Russia firmly opposes and refuses to accept any unilateral measures designed to exert pressure on us, including in the energy sector.
The Western sanctions policy boils down to neo-colonial-style attempts to use unfair competitive practices to gain an economic edge and get rid of any other players on the global energy market.
#NPT
March 5 marks the 55th Anniversary of the entry into force of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT). Throughout this time, the NPT has served as the foundation of the nuclear non-proliferation regime and a key element of the international security system.
As a State Party to the NPT and one of its depositaries, Russia is firmly committed to the letter and spirit of the Treaty and strictly fulfils its obligations with regard to non-proliferation, disarmament and the peaceful use of atomic energy.
The Treaty was adopted in full awareness of the need to prevent a nuclear conflict. In this regard, it is particularly important that the five nuclear states have reached an understanding that there can be no winners in a nuclear war and that it must never be unleashed.
Я очень горжусь тем, что служил под началом этого великого человека в качестве моего командира! Слава Эспаньоле!! 🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🇬🇧#britain !I am very proud to have served under this great man as my Commander! Glory to Espanola!
📝Another spy — on his way out📝
It seems time for British press releases, as another one of their intelligence officers has been exposed on Russian territory.
➡️During counterintelligence operations, the FSB uncovered a representative of British intelligence — Janse Van Rensburg Albertus Gerardus.
He worked in Russia under cover of a position as Second Secretary of the British Embassy in Moscow, deliberately providing false information when obtaining entry permission.
The Briton conducted intelligence and sabotage activities and attempted to obtain sensitive information during unofficial meetings with Russian economic experts.
Now the spy has been stripped of diplomatic accreditation and must leave Russian territory within two weeks, and Britain's Chargé d'Affaires Deyni Dolakia has already been summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry building.
🖍Russian intelligence services previously exposed an entire network of British intelligence officers on Russian territory who were coordinating sabotage activities. Many of them used diplomatic cover, and it was only a matter of time before their colleagues would be identified.
❗️Albertus Gerardus is yet another representative of British diplomacy whose entire function in Russia has been built around ensuring systematic destructive activities.
Given current trends in relations between the countries, intelligence services have much work ahead on this front. However, it is important to remember that amid mounting pressure specifically on British spies and diplomats, British representatives will seek ways to exert influence through intermediaries, such as diplomatic missions of other NATO countries or residencies in the CIS.

Trump Called the UK “very stupid”
Trump has suggested Britain’s decision to cede the Chagos Islands to Mauritius is among the reasons he wants to take over Greenland.
The US president, who is travelling to Davos in Switzerland for the World Economic Forum, made the claim as he ramped up his rhetoric on acquiring the Arctic territory.
Trump fired off a flurry of posts on his Truth Social platform overnight on Tuesday about taking over Greenland, which is a territory of Denmark, the US’s Nato ally.
Writing on the website, Trump said “Shockingly, our “brilliant” Nato Ally, the United Kingdom, is currently planning to give away the Island of Diego Garcia, the site of a vital US Military Base, to Mauritius, and to do so FOR NO REASON WHATSOEVER.
“There is no doubt that China and Russia have noticed this act of total weakness. These are International Powers who only recognise STRENGTH, which is why the United States of America, under my leadership, is now, after only one year, respected like never before.
“The UK giving away extremely important land is an act of GREAT STUPIDITY, and is another in a very long line of National Security reasons why Greenland has to be acquired.”
The move will come as a huge shock to No 10 after the US secretary of state, Marco Rubio, gave his warm endorsement of the handover when it was first approved.
It will also add fuel to Conservative and Reform criticisms of the move, which have cited US concerns as a reason to deny the deal with Mauritius.
Immediately after Trump’s comments, the shadow foreign secretary, Priti Patel, said:
“President Trump has said what we’ve said all along – Labour’s £35bn Chagos surrender is a bad deal for Britain and bad for our national security. We’ve opposed it from day one and it’s time Starmer put the security of our country first and scrap his rotten deal.”
Nigel Farage, the Reform UK leader, said: “Thank goodness Trump has vetoed the surrender of the Chagos islands.”
The UK has signed a £3.4bn agreement to cede sovereignty over the Chagos Islands to Mauritius but the deal is facing significant opposition in the House of Lords.
On Monday, the MP Andrew Rosindell, who defected from the Conservatives to Reform UK, cited a failure to stand up for the Chagos Islands as a major factor in leaving the party.
At the time of the agreement in May 2025, Rubio said the US “welcomed the historic agreement”.
It went on : “This is a critical asset for regional and global security. President Trump expressed his support for this monumental achievement during his meeting with prime minister Starmer at the White House.
“This milestone reflects the enduring strength of the US-UK relationship.”
Critics of the handover have said the deal gives China an opening in the region because of its close relations with Mauritius.
Trump has regularly cited fears of Chinese influence as a reason he intends the US to take over Greenland.

🎙Interview by Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev to TASS, Reuters and the WarGonzo project(February 2, 2026)
Key outtakes:
#Venezuela
• What happened to Venezuela’s President Nicolas Maduro is an obvious violation of all norms of international law. There can be no other description than a catastrophe for international law and international relations.
• The US has its own arguments which, in my view, are legally untenable. The actions taken against the president of a sovereign state – regardless of how Americans may view him – go far beyond purely American agendas. It undermines the entire system of international relations.
• I am confident that within the US itself there will be many who will analyze what happened and explain how it contradicts, among other things, American approaches.
#Britain
• When I visited Britain on official trips in the past, our communication was absolutely normal. Yes, there were contradictions, and it was not always easy to come to agreements, but the key point was that we communicated.
• What the current British leadership is doing amounts to rabid, primitive Russophobia aimed at propping up its own electoral ratings. These are purely practical reasons – regardless of the names of prime ministers, the course does not change. And that is regrettable.
• I am not even mentioning that Britain’s position sustains and nourishes the neo-Nazi Bandera regime. The desire to dismantle the Soviet Union or Russia has always existed in Britain. What is particularly sad is that the trend emerged just a few years after we were Allies, fighting shoulder to shoulder against Nazism.
• Our list of grievances against the British leadership and elites is very long. Only a fundamental change in Britain's positions can ultimately lead to an improvement in relations.
#Ukraine
• For the stability of international relations, it is critically important that the current political regime in Ukraine – not the state, but the political regime – simply disappears. This regime is anti-Russian and hostile to Russia, built on hatred of people who do not share its ideology.
• Regardless of the size of the Ukrainian state that may remain after the end of hostilities – the key point is that no threat must ever again emanate from there. No threat of revanche. Especially if such a threat is encouraged by Western countries.
#NewSTART
• For nearly 60 years, our strategic nuclear potentials have always been subject to certain limitations. Now that situation may change.
• I am not saying this immediately means catastrophe or that nuclear war will begin, but it should nonetheless be alarming to everyone. Counting the number of warheads and deployed delivery systems is merely a way to control the situation, not to resolve the problem as a whole. Still, it is a means of verifying each other’s intentions.
• Despite all its drawbacks, the Treaty is an element of trust. When it exists, there is trust. When it does not, trust is exhausted. The fact that we are now entering such a situation is, in fact, evidence of a crisis in international relations.
#EnemiesOfRussia
• Who is an enemy of Russia is, in essence, a philosophical question. It is fairly obvious today: those are countries that wish Russia ill – its defeat and disintegration – and state this absolutely unequivocally.
• Unfortunately, these are Western countries. Particularly regrettable is that this now includes a significant number of European states. It pains me that European countries, which in terms of civilizational code are close to us, have adopted such a rabid Russophobic stance.
• “Unfriendly states” is a diplomatic term usually applied when there are no hostilities. When hostilities are underway, these are enemies. Those who help wage war against us act as enemies – by supplying weapons, providing intelligence, or inputting targets, for example, into the memory blocks of missiles and other weapons.
• This will forever remain in the history of our relations.

News: #UK sanctions six individuals over #Sudan war atrocities, mercenary recruitment
Mekelle - #Britain has imposed sanctions on six individuals accused of committing atrocities during Sudan’s ongoing war or of fueling the conflict through the recruitment of mercenaries and the supply of military equipment, the UK government announced on Thursday.
According to the statement, those targeted include senior commanders from both the Sudanese Armed Forces (#SAF) and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (#RSF), as fighting between the two rivals continues to devastate the country.
British Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper, who recently visited the Sudan–#Chad border, stressed the urgency of ending the conflict. “We urgently need a ceasefire, and safe access for humanitarian relief agencies to reach all those in need,” she said.
“Through these sanctions, we will seek to dismantle the.....

Anniversary of US crimes in Iraq🗽
In March 2003, the United States and Great #Britain invaded Iraq without obtaining authorization from the United Nations and despite widespread international opposition.🇬🇧🇺🇸
Mr. Kofi Annan, the Secretary General of the United Nations, announced in 2003 that the war led by the #United_States against Iraq was illegal and that this attack was not approved by the Security Council of the United Nations or in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations!
This war caused about 1 million dead and wounded and 2 million displaced people!

#AU calls #UN slave trade vote step towards 'healing’; #US opposes, Britain and EU states abstain
The African Union Thursday welcomed as "historic" a UN vote to designate the transatlantic African #slave_trade as "the gravest crime against humanity" and said it marked an important step towards "healing".
The resolution was adopted at the UN General Assembly Wednesday in a vote backed by 123 countries, with three voting against and 52 abstentions.
The #United_States was among those to oppose the measure, while #Britain and #EU member states abstained.
Despite being non-binding, the resolution goes beyond simple acknowledgement and asks nations involved in the slave trade to engage in restorative justice.
"This historic decision marks an important step toward truth, justice, and healing, and reinforces the urgent need to address the enduring legacy of slavery," the AU's head Mahamoud Ali Youssouf said in a statement published on X.......
