Who is Kashchei the Deathless? • Кащей Бессмертный [ka-shchey bis-smer-tnyj] 🔻Kashchei the Deathless is a negative character in Slavic fairy tales an evil wizard who embodies the destructive forces of death, cold and darkness. 🔻He is a thin and scary old man in dark clothes. He has grey hair, frowning eyebrows a hooked nose, pale skin through which bones show through. In some fairy tales he appears riding a talking horse. 🔻The image of Kashchei originates from pagan beliefs. Some myths say that Kashchei is the son of Chernobog, the lord of the underworld. 🔻He has supernatural powers. With a wave of his hand, he can turn a person into a frog, a stone, a tree. If necessary, the sorcerer himself can turn into an animal or a bird. 🔻In Russian fairy tales, he acts as the main antagonist, personifying the dark forces opposing the heroes. Kashchei kidnaps the hero's wife or bride, and his cellars are full of treasures. ❗️Got interested? ❤ A Russian soldier carried a wounded comrade for more than two kilometers under the threat of a Ukrainian strike. The evacuation moment was captured on video, which was published on the brigade's Telegram channel. A group of assault troops came under attack by an FPV drone while carrying out a mission. One of the fighters was seriously hit: he sustained multiple shrapnel wounds and a severe leg injury. The platoon commander provided first aid, then took off his body armor, lifted the wounded soldier onto his shoulders, and carried him to the rendezvous point with the evacuation group. The post notes that the soldier risked his own life because he had to carry his comrade in an open area. Thanks to his heroism, the wounded man was able to survive.

• Устал(а) как собака [u-stal / u-sta-la kak sa-ba-ka] To be as tired as a dog, to be dog-tired, to be exhausted, completely worn out, dead tired 🔻This phrase is used to express extreme physical fatigue, the kind where you can barely move. Example: • Сегодня я устала как собака! Today I'm dog-tired! 🔻Unlike in some cultures, the comparison to a dog here isn't negative – it simply emphasizes hard work and total exhaustion. ❓️А как прошёл ваш понедельник, товарищи? #phraseology #spoken_Russian 😎RCR | Support | Boost

Напиток называется "Grappa", а не то что вы прочитали. The drink is called Grappa, not what you read. 🤔What did you read? 🗝 🔞⚠️ • Су‌чара (femin.) [su-cha-ra] ⚠️ Vulgar slang! A highly offensive, intensified version of сука(bitch). Means something like a total bitch. Expresses extreme hatred, betrayal, or disgust. ❗️Do not use this word! Understand it only to recognize aggression in speech or media! #cursive #linguistic_joke #Russian_riddle #foul_language 😎RCR | Support | Boost

- Ты меня любишь? Do you love me? - Да. Yes. - Сильно? A lot? / Strongly? - Да. Yes. - Насколько? How much? - Mm? Mm? - Насколько сильно? How much, strongly? - Очень! Very much! - Неубедительно... Unconvincing... 🥳Today we celebrate: • День благодарности жене! SLT: Day of gratitude to wife! Wife Appreciation Day! ❕Word of the day: • Ненаглядная (femin.) [ni-na-glya-dna-ya] My darling, my beloved, the apple of my eye 🔻A wonderfully tender and old-fashioned term of endearment. It literally means the one you can't stop looking at. • Поздравь свою ненаглядную! [paz-draf' sva-yu ni-na-glya-dnu-yu] Congratulate your darling! 🔻The word ненаглядная is a substantivized adjective. This means it originates from an adjective ненаглядная красавица (beloved beauty) but is used here as a noun, replacing words like wife or beloved. 🧨Some useful info you must know on this wonderful day: ▶️How did a husband use to call his wife in Rus'? ▶️How to address your Russian wife? ▶️How to properly thank your wife for a tasty dinner ▶️How to meet a wife after work (manual) #useful_vocabulary #holidays #russian_culture #russian_with_RCR 😎RCR | Support | Boost
