🐼The pandas in Moscow also celebrated China's birthday! 🎉 🇨🇳 On October 1st, the People's Republic of China celebrates the 76th anniversary of its founding. This holiday symbolizes the unity of the country, and festive events take place all over the world. On this occasion, the giant panda Katyusha - a national treasure of China and a symbol of friendship between our countries - received special gifts 🎁 🎂 A two-story cake made of pieces of carrots and apples with ice was made for the first giant panda cub born in Russia. The little princess was also presented with the number 76 made of juicy bamboo shoots. Katyusha appreciated the gift: first she ate the bamboo shoots, and then she started on the ice dessert. 🤝 The Moscow Zoo cooperates with the China Wildlife Conservation Association under an agreement on joint research and conservation of the giant panda. 🤍 In 2019, in honor of the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Moscow and Beijing, the young bamboo bears Zhui and Ding Ding came to us. And 4 years later, we got a wonderful baby Katyusha, who became the result of the excellent coordinated work of the Moscow Zoo staff with their Chinese colleagues.
