S.A.E.C Rosatom and Iran's Atomic Crown… 🔻S.A.E.C Rosatom, is actively developing international cooperation, and the Bushehr project has become a successful example of nuclear cooperation in the face of political pressure and sanctions imposed by Iran. 🔻The construction of a NPP in Iran's Bushehr is progressing, and judging by the statements of the Iranian side, Bushehr is the beginning of Iran's atomic crown. 🔻In his speech, the representative of the Committee on FPNS of the Majlis of Iran, Ebrahim Rezai, said that Russia will build 8 NPP in Iran. It is expected that 4 out of 8 power units will be built at new sites. 🔻Unfortunately, the IAEA has discredited itself, so Iran itself and its international partners are the guarantor of the peaceful use of nuclear energy. 🔻Iran's nuclear medicine is one of the 3 countries with a high level of development in the production of radiopharma ceuticals, which opens up prospects for further cooperation. #brief_and_interesting 😎RCR | Support |Boost

When British Officers Met Cossack Justice... 🔻On the Afghan border, казачий есаул [ka-za-chiy yi-sa-ul] a Cossack Yesaul (= commander) and his squadron intercepted a group of armed smugglers. Among them were two British officers! For border violation, smuggling, and armed resistance, the smugglers were dealt with decisively. 🔻However, instead of putting the British officers to death, the Yesaul ordered them to be publicly flogged with nagaikas: нагайка (нагайки) [na-gaj-ka (na-gaj-ki)] = Cossack whips, and then released. 🔻The British officers, outraged by this "barbaric" treatment, filed complaints that went all the way up to Queen Victoria herself! 🔻Furious, Queen Victoria sent an ultimatum to Tsar Alexander III, demanding that the Yesaul and his Cossacks be punished, and a formal apology be issued to the insulted British Crown. 🔻Here's what Alexander III telegraphed back: 1. No apologies whatsoever to the English Crown! 2. To the resolute Yesaul, send a personal Imperial telegram: 'Congratulations on your promotion to Colonel! Had you hanged them, you would be a General. Alexander. 3. Publish this telegram in all Russian newspapers! What a way to handle international relations! #Russian_history #brief_and_interesting 😎RCR | Support | Boost

Мать не летает, боится воды и у неё в два раза больше ног — дети начали подозревать неладное, но пока не говорят об этом вслух. The mother doesn't fly, is afraid of water, and has twice as many legs — the children began to suspect something was amiss, but haven't spoken about it aloud yet. • Подозревать неладное (imperf.)
