.....and the lime was wetted for transit here so it wouldn't blow off the truck.... and it's too damp to spread in my spreader. I can only load about 100lbs at a time or it compresses into clumps. We're getting a tarp to go over the pile and let it dry a few days.

Today I got a "tune up kit" for a honda G160 engine that's on my portable air compressor. All I wanted was the carb. But the kit came with a lot of other parts, including a fuel filter that screws i nthe bottom of hte tank. You have to remove a lot of stuff to get the tank off! So I took it all apart, but it all back together and it still won't start. No change from before. So I took it all apart again and replaced the coil. I shoullda just shot gunned it and replaced all parts while I was in there the first time. The symptom is it would fire intermittently but not run. I thought it was a fuel problem.... But carb needed replaced anyway becuase it was leaking out the float bowl. I mean for $21 it's not worth my time to diddle with a carb. $21 got coil, plug, fuel filter (which was leaking), gas line, clamps, air filter and spark plug. Ethanol gas is TERRIBLE for carbs but oh boy are they cheap.

My neighbor got skittish this month and bought electricty when his batteries were below 70% going into the evening a few nights. Ugggghhhh.... he could have made it thru the night easily but wanted to be sure. So he used 22kwh from the grid last month during off peak times.
