Today I removed 600' of fencing and I don't know how many fence posts. The fence was originally put up with quarter sawn 10" diameter posts 30-40 years ago. They were spaced about every 20ft. About 20 years ago they got mixed in with metal T posts between each of them. The result was alternating old wooden posts and T posts every 10ft. So they are all gone now. Kinda funny, the horses went over where that fence used to be and just stood there for a while taking the changes in. I used a spinning jenny to wind up the steel wire. Last thing today we moved the goats into a different paddock with a new bail of hay. Then we resupplied hay to the old paddock. We also put a new bale of hay in one of the unused paddocks. We have 3 moderate sized paddcoks I can lock the horses in while I'm working on the back line of fencing. The plan at this time is to remove 4 of the 5 wires between posts and lay the remaining steel wire on the ground along with the white ribbon on the top of the posts. Each day when I'm done felling trees near the fence I can lightly attach that last wire and the white ribbon. The horses don't challenge the fence, so I don't expect any problems with trying to escape.

Sharing with ya'll. I highly recommend using sketchup for free online for a cad program. It has a library of fixtures, cabinets, beds, toilets etc. I've included the cad file here if any of you are feeling frisky. The only gotcha on this is that the lofts have a 7' ceiling height. Our daughter was talking about building a tiny house and we looked at a shed conversion but once the walls are on the outside I can't add things like mylar coated OSB... so we looked at just building something outright for her. Although this has a 16' ceiling in the middle it only uses 20 16' studs. We haven't built this because she changed her mind and bought a camper trailer.

For those wondering about the continuity of the last 6 or so things posted, yes my mind jumps around like a squirrel on meth. You should see the stuff I keep to myself.

Just to show ya'll how smart my wife is.... When I wired my workshop she said we needed to wire outlets every 6' around the perimeter walls AND that every other outlet needed to be on a different breaker. So I wired them A B A B A B A B all around the shop. The reason for this is that she grew up helping her dad in his shop and it is really likely that two people will work on the same thing with two grinders or two drills at the same time and pop a single breaker. By doing this every other outlet is on a different breaker.

One of the group members has a neighbor who converted an old dirt bike to electric. This bike is very torquey and a very different riding experience
