You’ll work on high-visibility projects from day one—developing classification models, fine-tuning LLM prompts, and extracting insights from real user data. This role offers a mix of hands-on model development and the opportunity to shape our conversational and voice-bot capabilities, collaborating closely with product and engineering teams. What you'll do: — Design and train intent-classification models to accurately identify user intents — Fine-tune prompts and optimize large language models (LLMs) for production use — Analyze chat interactions to extract insights, monitor trends, and spot opportunities — Deploy and maintain ML models in a production environment — (Optional) Develop and integrate voice-bot solutions (if you have audio-processing experience) What we’re looking for: — 2+ years of experience as an NLP/ML Engineer — Proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML/NLP frameworks — Strong experience in core NLP tasks (classification, entity recognition, etc.) — Proven track record in designing, developing, and deploying ML models — Experience optimizing model performance and efficiency for production Nice to have: — Experience with voice-bot development or audio processing — Familiarity with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, SageMaker) — Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools — Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) Why join Salmon?
