🗓 On September 26, the delegation of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation 🇷🇺 took part in the 14th ASEAN Economic Ministers (#AEM)-Russia Consultation in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia 🇲🇾. 🔹The parties discussed tangible outcomes of the ASEAN-Russia Trade and Investment Work Programme 2021-2025 and highlighted key projects in the following spheres: food and energy security, trade facilitation, stability of financial system, tourism promotion, digital transition. 🔹The Meeting reaffirmed the intention to finalize the Strategic Programme for Trade and Investment Cooperation 2026-2035 in order to endorse it by the end of 2025. The implementation of the new document will contribute to strengthening cooperation in the most promising areas, including high-technologies, agriculture, creative and circular economy, transport and logistics. 🔹️The implementation of the new document will contribute to the aim of increasing Russia-ASEAN trade turnover up to 45 billion USD by 2035. #ASEANRussia#RussiaASEAN

🗓 On September 19, the delegation of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation 🇷🇺 headed by the Deputy Minister Vladimir Ilichev took part in the 13th ASEAN Economic Ministers (#AEM)-Russia Consultation in Vientiane, Laos 🇱🇦. 🔹️The parties discussed tangible outcomes of the ASEAN-Russia Trade and Investment Work Programme 2021-2025 and highlighted key projects in the following spheres: food and energy security, trade liberalisation, stability of financial system and payments, tourism promotion, digital and creative economy. 🔹️Russia proposed to further strengthen cooperation in the areas of regulatory policy, digital economy and mitigation of impact of climate change. #ASEANRussia#RussiaASEAN
