🗓 On September 26, the delegation of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation 🇷🇺 took part in the 14th ASEAN Economic Ministers (#AEM)-Russia Consultation in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia 🇲🇾. 🔹The parties discussed tangible outcomes of the ASEAN-Russia Trade and Investment Work Programme 2021-2025 and highlighted key projects in the following spheres: food and energy security, trade facilitation, stability of financial system, tourism promotion, digital transition. 🔹The Meeting reaffirmed the intention to finalize the Strategic Programme for Trade and Investment Cooperation 2026-2035 in order to endorse it by the end of 2025. The implementation of the new document will contribute to strengthening cooperation in the most promising areas, including high-technologies, agriculture, creative and circular economy, transport and logistics. 🔹️The implementation of the new document will contribute to the aim of increasing Russia-ASEAN trade turnover up to 45 billion USD by 2035. #ASEANRussia#RussiaASEAN

🗓 On September 19, the delegation of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation 🇷🇺 headed by the Deputy Minister Vladimir Ilichev took part in the 13th ASEAN Economic Ministers (#AEM)-Russia Consultation in Vientiane, Laos 🇱🇦. 🔹️The parties discussed tangible outcomes of the ASEAN-Russia Trade and Investment Work Programme 2021-2025 and highlighted key projects in the following spheres: food and energy security, trade liberalisation, stability of financial system and payments, tourism promotion, digital and creative economy. 🔹️Russia proposed to further strengthen cooperation in the areas of regulatory policy, digital economy and mitigation of impact of climate change. #ASEANRussia#RussiaASEAN

🇷🇺🇧🇳🇰🇭🇮🇩🇱🇦🇲🇾🇲🇲🇵🇭🇸🇬🇹🇭🇻🇳🇹🇱 #ASEAN SOM Leaders and Deputy SecGen of ASEAN for Political-Security Community Dato’ Astanah Abdul Aziz and their respective delegations visited Piskaryovskoye Memorial Cemetery and took part in the Wreath-Laying Ceremony to the Motherland Monument in Saint Petersburg 🇷🇺 as part of the 20th ASEAN-Russia Senior Officials' Meeting (#ARSOM). ☝️ The Piskaryovskoye Memorial Cemetery is considered as the biggest military cemetery in the world. 🗓On April 26, Saint Petersburg 🇷🇺 hosted the 20th ASEAN-Russia Senior Officials' Meeting (#ARSOM). 🔹️The meeting was co-chaired by the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation H.E. Mr. AndreyRudenko🇷🇺 and Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia H.E. Mr. Kung Phoak🇰🇭. 🔹 Participants discussed ways and means of further promoting the ASEAN-Russia Strategic Partnership in political, economic and humanitarian spheres. They agreed to undertake steps to deepen practical cooperation in such areas as science and technology, energy security, education, people-to-people ties and digitalization. 🔹The meeting reiterated shared intention to jointly address challenges and threats, strengthen ASEAN-led regional security architecture in Asia-Pacific. Issues of promoting cross-platform links between #ASEAN, #EEU and #SCO were also on the agenda. 🔹️On the sidelines of the ARSOM H.E. 🗓 On April 24, the 4th ASEAN-Russia Consultations of the High Representatives for Security Issues were successfully held in Saint Petersburg on the sidelines of the 12th International Meeting of High-Ranking Officials Responsible for Security Matters. 🔹️ The meeting was co-chaired by Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation H.E. Mr. Nikolai Patrushev🇷🇺 and Deputy Director General of the General Department of Research and Intelligence, Ministry of National Defence of the Kingdom of Cambodia H.E. Major General Duong Uddam🇰🇭. 🔹️ High-ranking officials from ASEAN Member States and ASEAN Secretariat attended the meeting. Participants exchanged views on regional security in Asia-Pacific, discussed issues related to the system of strategic stability and arms control. 🔹️ During the meeting Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation H.E. Mr. Nikolai Patrushev 🇷🇺 reaffirmed Russia's commitment to ASEAN centrality in the region and its will to further deepen cooperation with #ASEAN in all dimensions including security. 🔹️This unique ASEAN-Russia platform proved to be an important venue for professional and open dialogue on issues related to regional and global security as well as developing multilateral interaction in combating common challenges and threats. #ASEANRussia#RussiaASEAN
