#Russia#MostBeautifulCountry 📸The Most Beautiful Country, the 11th international photo contest held by the Russian Geographical Society, has wrapped up its 2025 edition. It's hard to describe how vast and diverse #Russia is — places, locales and biomes, fauna, the peoples and lifestyles. Better show & #See4Yourself👇 On September 11, names of eleven winners in main categories were announced: five winners of special prizes, including the People’s Choice Award, and four winners of the photo contest, The Most Beautiful Country through the Eyes of Children. The photo contest is an annual competition of the best of the best since 2015. Throughout the 11 years, the jury received over 780,000 submissions from 118,000 contestants. Embassy Comment We have noted the article by Jonathan Eyal “#EU renewed toothless #sanctions against #Russia”, published in The Straits Times on February 1, 2025. We agree with the author that the unilateral illegitimate sanctions aimed at continuing the hybrid war against Russia and inflicting a strategic defeat on us, are both unsuccessful and futile. There is no doubt that the objectives of the special military operation (#SMO) on the #denazification and demilitarization of #Ukraine, its neutral and non-nuclear status, as well as ensuring the interests of the Russian people will be achieved. The “bankrupt” Euro-Atlantic security architecture (#NATO) is being replaced by a new equal and indivisible #EurasianSecurity, which includes all the organizations that have demonstrated their effectiveness – the #EAEU, #SCO, #CSTO, etc. The concept of #Eurasian security aligns with the accelerating formation of a multipolar world order. A key pillar of this shift is the rapidly growing, non-Western center of influence represented by #BRICS, which continues to attract countries from the #GlobalSouth, including #ASEAN member states, paving the way for a BRICS-ASEAN dialogue. The consolidation of the countries of the Global South, making a choice in favor of peaceful, sustainable, inclusive, independent development together with Russia, China and other countries, represents a stable and viable trend in contrast to the outdated Western neocolonial “#InSanctionsWeTrust” mentality.

🇷🇺🇮🇷📞 On April 13, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Foreign Minister of Iran Hossein Amir-Abdollahian spoke over the phone. The Ministers focused on the situation in the Middle East. The Russian side reiterated its strong condemnation of the April 1 Israeli airstrike on the Iranian consular office in Damascus. ❗️ It was emphasised that, just like political assassinations, any attacks on diplomatic or consular sites, the inviolability of which is guaranteed by the relevant Vienna conventions, are absolutely unacceptable. The sides confirmed mutual commitment to maintaining a high level of coordination on international and regional agenda priorities. They emphasised mutual interest in steadily building up political and diplomatic cooperation, as well as trade and economic interaction in the transport and logistics sphere, among others, including transit traffic. 🔗http://tiny.cc/inurxz #RussiaIran#Russia#Iran#MiddleEast
