🎙Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s interview with the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting media corporation(Moscow, December 15, 2025) Read in full Key points: • Throughout history, Europe has repeatedly been a source of all evil and spawn of deepest crises. <...> Europe is now trying again to dictate to everyone its terms and wishes which seem to be connected with the Ukraine crisis. • Europe is using it to assert itself, to throw sand in the wheels and scheme against the United States and all those who seek a just settlement. • The theory and practices of Nazism are being resurrected in Europe, primarily in Brussels but also in Berlin, London, Paris, not to mention the Baltic States. • Europe is waging a war with us once again with Ukrainians under a Nazi flag, <...> pumping Ukraine with increasingly more modern weapons. • One of major purposes [of the new US National Security Strategy] is to make Europe know its place and to prevent it from imposing its liberal ways • The United States wants to set up its policy for opposing China. <...> We are not against competition, however, it should be fair. • Europeans have theft running in their blood, which we can see from the example of “frozen” Russian assets. By the way, Iranian assets are also partially frozen like Venezuelan assets and assets of many other countries. • The West, including the United States, do not always has enough power to maintain its domination, and thus they have to resort to dirty, anti-democratic and anti-market methods. • The West is planning and trying to split the group of the five Caspian states and impose decisions which will not get a consensus of the Caspian countries. • The second outrageous example is Palestine. Not only was the UN Security Council resolution violated in this case, but also a great number of resolutions of both the Security Council and the UN General Assembly. • The last year’s developments around the Iranian nuclear programme, the absolutely outrageous illegitimate actions by Europeans, the attempts to put the blame on the Islamic Republic of Iran for the collapse of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (#JCPOA), <...> reaffirms that the entire world order is being subject to most severe tests. • When Iran was attacked by Israel followed by the United States, we condemned those actions as having absolutely nothing to do with international legality. The key is that so far no one has offered any clear evidence that Iran has violated something, neither the IAEA, nor the Israelis, nor the Americans. • Russia is firm in its commitment to ensuring the Islamic Republic of Iran its unconditional right to the peaceful use of nuclear energy, just as any other country. • Russia and Iran signed a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Treaty. We will always support Iran and promote its legitimate rights. • Our bilateral plans [with Iran] are serious enough as are our plans of cooperation in the world arena. I mean in #BRICS, the #SCO and the #EAEU. This includes the United Nations and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation. • We are also engaged in investment cooperation. In addition to the North–South corridor, there is also such a flagship project as the Bushehr NPP – its construction is ongoing. • There is a promising format that will help strengthen security in the [Middle East] – I am referring to the relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Gulf Cooperation Council (#GCC). • There is the Collective Security Treaty Organisation, and we want to work with the Islamic Republic of Iran and with other neighbouring countries, including within this organisation’s framework. • In recent months, the Islamist Republic has made it clear that it is not seeking war or new conflicts. • In the United States and certain countries of Europe <...> there are people who have been speaking out in favour of reviving the arms limitation and control frameworks, including transparency measures. 🗓 On December 4-5, Vienna (Austria) will host the 32nd Meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council. The Russian delegation will be helmed by Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister Aleksandr Grushko. In the OSCE’s governance structure, the Ministerial Council (MC) ranks second only to the Summit and convenes in years when no high-level meeting is held (the last Summit took place in Astana in 2010). As a rule, the MC is hosted by the country holding the OSCE Chairmanship. Finland, which serves this year as the OSCE Chair-in-Office, requested that the meeting be moved to Vienna, citing excessive workload related to organizing the 50th anniversary event of the Helsinki Final Act on 1 August. The Ministerial Council reviews the implementation of previously adopted decisions, sets tasks for the medium term and ensures political dialogue among the participating States. All decisions in the Organization are made by consensus – a key condition for maintaining the viability of the Vienna platform. For the Russian delegation, the key focus of the upcoming Ministerial will be reviewing the OSCE’s work in its 50th anniversary year, as well as assessing the Organization’s prospects against the backdrop of the emerging multipolar world order. We expect to discuss ways to resolve existing problems with due regard for the interests of all participating States. The OSCE’s current institutional crisis is the result of destructive actions by a number of Western countries that use the Organization for their own purposes, including to fuel anti-Russian hysteria. <…> At meetings of the OSCE’s decision-making bodies – the Permanent Council and the Forum for Security Co-operation (FSC) – Russian representatives consistently raise the most acute issues for the OSCE area. These include combating terrorism and drug trafficking, countering manifestations of neo-Nazism, preventing the falsification of history and media censorship, as well as protecting traditional values, the rights of believers and national minorities. We call on all states to join efforts in these areas. <…> The second dimension, intended to help harmonize the interests of participating States in the relevant fields, is in practice used by Western members to assess “environmental damage” in Ukraine or to promote inherently confrontational concepts such as linking climate and security. The third dimension – the most politicized – continues to “suffer” from clear thematic and geographical imbalances, with an emphasis on neoliberal values that are unrelated to the priorities of the majority of participating States. Significant concerns persist regarding the OSCE’s human dimension institutions – the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR), the High Commissioner on National Minorities, and the Representative on Freedom of the Media. Their new leadership, appointed last year, has shown a clear inclination to give in to Western political pressure. ODIHR stands out in particular for its openly biased electoral monitoring in countries “east of Vienna”, its advance preparation of “desired” conclusions, and its publication of anti-Russian reports on the politically motivated topic of alleged violations of international humanitarian law and human rights in Ukraine. ❗️Given the current state of affairs in the OSCE,it is difficult to speak of any meaningful role for the Organization amid today’s profound global realignment. The OSCE would undoubtedly benefit from drawing on the experience of groupings such as the #SCO, #BRICS and the #CIS, whose member states operate on the principles of equality and mutual support. 🇷🇺🇰🇬Statement by President Vladimir Putin to the press following the Russian-Kyrgyz talkswith President Sadyr Japarov(November 26, 2025, Bishkek) Following the talks, a signing ceremony was held where a number of bilateral documents were inked, including a Joint Statement by the Presidents on deepening relations of alliance and strategic partnership. 💬Vladimir Putin: I would once again like to thank the President of Kyrgyzstan for the invitation, and all our Kyrgyz colleagues for their hospitality and warm reception. I agree with my counterpart - today’s talks were highly productive and proceeded in a constructive spirit. All of this clearly reflects the genuinely friendly and good-neighbourly nature of relations between Russia and Kyrgyzstan. We held a detailed discussion of the entire range of issues on the bilateral agenda and exchanged views on pressing regional matters. Priority attention during the talks was devoted to further developing economic cooperation. Last year, bilateral trade reached a new record, exceeding four billion dollars. This year, mutual trade flows have continued to grow at a solid pace – around 17%. This is a good result. Russia is among the leading investors in the Kyrgyz economy. Russian capital investment has now accumulated to nearly two billion dollars. About 1,700 business entities with Russian participation operate in Kyrgyzstan in key sectors such as energy, mining, agriculture, transport and logistics. All of this has become possible thanks to the confident domestic policy pursued by the President of Kyrgyzstan and the stability within the country. Our nations cooperate closely within the Eurasian Economic Union. Together with the other member states, we are creating common markets for goods, services, capital and labour. The development of Eurasian integration yields indisputable dividends for all the member states, including Kyrgyzstan. For example, in the ten years since the Republic joined the #EAEU, its GDP has increased two and a half times, and exports to other EAEU countries have quadrupled. Energy is one of the most important areas of Russian-Kyrgyz cooperation. Russia fully meets Kyrgyzstan’s needs for petrol and diesel, on preferential terms and without export duties, which provides a direct economic benefit to the Republic. Russian-Kyrgyz humanitarian cooperation traditionally has an intensive and multifaceted character. Ties between the citizens of our countries continue to grow and expand. Russia and Kyrgyzstan work closely together in the fields of culture, sports, public and youth organizations, and, of course, education. More than 10,000 Kyrgyz students study in Russia, and, as the President has just noted, half of them on a budgetary basis. It is also gratifying that in Kyrgyzstan, together with Russia, the Russian language is used freely and has official status under the Constitution. We value this highly. Its use in various spheres of life is actively supported by the country’s leadership. Naturally, we held a substantive discussion on expanding bilateral cooperation in the military and military-technical sphere, and outlined plans for joint efforts to counter terrorism and extremism, drug trafficking and organized crime. Both Sides noted that the joint Russian military base deployed in Kyrgyzstan makes a significant contribution to strengthening the Republic’s defence capability and, in general, to ensuring security and stability throughout Central Asia. When reviewing current foreign-policy issues, we noted the close, and in many areas identical, alignment of our approaches approaches. Our countries coordinate positions in multilateral formats, including the #UN, the #SCO and the #CIS. 🤝 In conclusion, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to our Kyrgyz friends and to the President for the constructive and productive talks. I am confident that this visit and our negotiations will contribute to the further development of the multifaceted Russian-Kyrgyz relationship for the benefit of our peoples and our countries.

🎙 Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s opening remarks at a joint meeting of the Collegiums of the Foreign Ministries of Russia and Belarus (Moscow, November 25, 2025) 💬 Today, we are looking back at the outgoing year, which marked the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, a sacred holiday for Belarusians and Russians. I would like to express my gratitude to our Belarusian allies for their consistently close cooperation and support in all our joint undertakings. Guided by the Programme of Coordinated Actions in Foreign Policy of the States Parties to the Treaty on the Establishment of the Union State for 2024-2026, we have closely cooperated within the framework of our common Eurasian associations, such as (in addition to the Union State) the #CSTO, the #EAEU, the #CIS, and the #SCO, as well as within #BRICS, the #UN, and the #OSCE. In all of these organisations, we act in solidarity on virtually all international issues. We are implementing important joint initiatives, including those aimed at strengthening security and stability in Eurasia. Diplomatic support of large-scale bilateral cooperation and integration processes within the Union State has remained our overriding priority. Undoubtedly, the Union State is a format that sets the tone for interaction across several areas. In accordance with the resolution adopted by the collegiums and instructions issued by the respective heads of state and government, we primarily focused on promoting cooperation within common integration entities, deepening ties among them, and expanding cooperation with the countries from the Global South. Likewise, we focused on coordinating our efforts on international legal issues, among them countering the West’s sanctions aggression, and other areas. <...> We have facilitated the dialogue between the EAEU and the SCO and BRICS, and the coordination of 2026-2030 EEC-ASEAN Cooperation Programme. We have started looking into the possibility of expanding CIS contacts with African organisations and established cooperation between the CSTO Secretariat and the AU Counter Terrorism Centre. As I mentioned earlier, we have jointly promoted on all international venues the initiative advanced by the President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, on the development of the Eurasian Charter of Diversity and Multipolarity in the 21st Century which aligns with the initiative put forward by President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to form a new architecture of equal and indivisible security in Eurasia. <...> We have made significant efforts to expand international support for countering the practice of illegal unilateral sanctions. On the initiative of the Group of Friends in Defence of the UN Charter, of which Russia and Belarus are members and play an important role, the UN General Assembly adopted, in June, a resolution establishing the International Day against Unilateral Coercive Measures. <...> The agenda of today’s meeting is quite extensive. We will begin by discussing issues related to the joint use of humanitarian policy tools, the promotion of traditional values, and the preservation of historical memory. We will then consider matters related to cooperation with friendly states and their associations, as well as our approaches to building relations with the countries whose governments pursue an openly unfriendly policy towards us. This will also include our relations with the organisations that deviate from their own founding principles, do not adhere to impartiality and equal distance, but instead seek to take predominantly pro-Western political positions. We will place special emphasis on sharing experience in foreign policy information support. 🇷🇺🇰🇿 October 22 marks 3️⃣3️⃣ years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan. Our nations share common cultural, spiritual and moral values, centuries of living in a union-state, and mutual achievements and victories. Today's Russian-Kazakhstani relations are characterized as strategic partnership and alliance, and are based on long-lasting friendship, mutual trust and respect for each other’s interests. 🤝 The Leaders of Russia and Kazakhstan have developed close and cordial personal relations during many years of cooperation. Both countries' Presidents often hold talks and telephone conversations, exchanging views on current bilateral, regional and global issues. Our Foreign Ministers also maintain regular contacts. In October 2024, President Vladimir Putin paid a state visit to Astana, where the Sides coordinated a solid package of documents that strengthened the architecture of our multifaceted bilateral cooperation. 📈Russia is one of Kazakhstan’s largest trade, economic and investment partners. Mutual trade turnover reached a record of more than $28 billion in 2023 and was maintained at the same level in 2024. We are also increasing the share of national currencies (almost 90%) in mutual trade operations. There are over 23'000 businesses with Russian assets in Kazakhstan. Russia’s investment in the country's economy have exceeded $10 billion. The two countries are implementing over 60 major joint projects in all spheres of the Kazakhstani national economy. Our interaction in the oil and gas sector is developing dynamically. Russia’s Gazprom, Gazprom Neft, Tatneft and LUKOIL corporations hold a substantial position in Kazakhstan. Both countries' oil and energy companies are jointly developing hydrocarbon fields, processing energy resources and expanding the pipeline systems. Russia and Kazakhstan were among the initiators of integration processes in the post-Soviet space, and are the founding-nations of the Eurasian Economic Union (#EAEU). Moscow and Astana are working together within the #CIS, #CSTO and #SCO. Kazakhstan supports the Russian initiative of building an equal and indivisible security architecture in Eurasia. 🇷🇺Excerpts and key points from Russia's President Vladimir Putin's answers to questions at the plenary session of the 22nd annual meeting of the Valdai International Discussion Club 📍October 2, 2025, Sochi 💬President Vladimir Putin: • Modern institutions experienced degradation precisely during the period when certain countries, or the collective West, sought to exploit the post-Cold War situation by declaring themselves victors. In this context, they began imposing their will on everyone – this is the first point. Second, all others gradually, at first mutedly, then more actively, began to resist this. • What was the OSCE created for? To resolve complex situations in Europe. And what did it all boil down to? The entire activity of the OSCE reduced to becoming a platform for discussing, for example, human rights in the post-Soviet space. • We gradually came to realise that we needed to create institutions where issues are resolved not as our Western colleagues attempted to resolve them, but genuinely based on consensus, genuinely based on aligning positions. This is how the #SCO – the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation – emerged. This is how #BRICS emerged • We are fighting this war and producing our own military equipment. But on the other side of the line, we are effectively at war with the collective might of NATO. They are no longer even hiding this fact. We see this in the direct involvement of NATO instructors and representatives from Western countries in the hostilities. A command centre has been established in Europe for the purpose of coordinating our adversary’s war effort: providing the Armed Forces of Ukraine with intelligence, satellite imagery, weapons, and training. And I must reiterate: these foreign personnel are not only involved in training; they are directly participating in operational planning and combat operations themselves. ❓ Yet if we are combating the entire NATO alliance, advancing thus with unwavering confidence, and are deemed a “paper tiger” – what does that make NATO itself? What manner of entity is it then? • In September, the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to about 44'700 people, nearly half of them irretrievable losses. In the same period, they forcibly mobilised slightly more than 18'000 people. Approximately 14'500 people have returned to the army from hospitals. If we add up these figures and subtract the total from the number of casualties, we will see that Ukraine lost 11'000 in one month. In other words, the number of its troops on the frontline was not replenished and is decreasing. • They say: the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact – an atrocity, colluding with Hitler, the Soviet Union conspired with Hitler. Well, no, not at all. And you yourselves had conspired with Hitler shortly before and carved up Czechoslovakia. As though that never occurred. Propagandistically – yes, one can hammer these false equivalences into people’s heads, but in essence, we know how it truly was. That was the first act of the Ballet de la Merlaison. • They began not merely equating Stalin’s and Hitler’s regimes – they attempted to erase the very outcomes of the Nuremberg Trials. Bizarre, given that these were participants in a shared struggle, and the Nuremberg Trials were collective, held precisely so that nothing similar would recur. Yet they began doing that. They started tearing down monuments to Soviet soldiers and so forth, those who fought against Nazism. • The situation in Gaza is one of the most tragic events in recent history. It is also well known that the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has publicly admitted – and he often reflects Western views – that Gaza has become the largest children’s cemetery in the world. What could be more tragic? What could be more painful?

🎙Excerpt from Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov's remarks at the General Debate of the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (New York, September 27, 2025) WATCH the full speech (eng subs) ▶️ 💬 Kiev regime, which seized power as a result of an anti-constitutional couporchestrated by the West in 2014, is pursuing the dismantling of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church and eradicating the Russian language by law from all areas of life, including education, culture and media. ❌ Ukraine is the only country in the world that has a law suppressing the native language of nearly half of its population. Arabic is not banned in Israel and Hebrew is not prohibited in the Arab countries or Iran. But Russian is banned in Ukraine. I would like to remind you that Article 1 of the UN Charter states that it is necessary to promote “respect for human rights and for fundamental freedoms for all without distinction as to race, sex, language, or religion.” Europe remains silent, obsessed with its utopian goal of delivering a “strategic defeat” on Russia. Therefore, the Kiev regime can do anything it wishes to do, including terrorist attacks against politicians and journalists, torture and extrajudicial killings, indiscriminate bombing of civilian facilities, and reckless sabotage targeting nuclear power plants. As President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly stressed, since the very beginning, Russia has been and remains open to negotiations aimed at eliminating the root causes of the conflict. Russia’s security and vital interests must be reliably guaranteed. The rights of Russian and Russian-speaking people on territories remaining under the control of the Kiev regime must be restored in full. ☝️ This is the basis on which we are willing to discuss Ukraine’s security guarantees. At the moment, neither Kiev nor its European sponsors show any sign of realising the gravity of the moment. <...> We pin certain hopes on continuing the Russian-US dialogue, especially since the Summit in Alaska. *** This December marks the 65th anniversary of the General Assembly’s adoption of the Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples. <...> The peoples of Africa and Asia refused to live under colonial oppression – a sentiment echoed by the populations of Crimea, Donbass and Novorossiya after the 2014 coup in Ukraine in their refusal to submit to the neo-Nazi regime in Kiev. ❗️ This regime, which came to power through illegitimate means, not only failed to represent their interests but also unleashed a war against them. Today, Africa and the wider Global South are experiencing a renewed awakening as they strive for full independence – a process from which the UN must not stand apart. As a next step, we call for a decision to declare December 14 the International Day against Colonialism. We welcome the role of the Group of Friends in Defence of the UN Charter in consolidating efforts to counter neocolonial and other discriminatory practices against the Global Majority. The Global Majority is now asserting its rights with a powerful voice. In this context, the #SCO and #BRICS play a prominent role as key mechanisms for coordinating the interests of the Global South and East. These new realities have yet to be adequately reflected in the institutional architecture of our Organisation. The reform of the UN Security Council remains a particularly pressing issue. ✅ Russia advocates for its democratisation through broader representation of countries from Asia, Africa and Latin America. We support the candidacies of Brazil and India for permanent membership in the Security Council, as well as the redress of the historical injustice against Africa, based on parameters agreed upon by the continent’s countries themselves.

During our high-level talks, we held a very productive discussion of key issues in cooperation between our nations. 📰Article by Russia' Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov ‘The Helsinki Act’s 50th anniversary: Expectations, reality, and future’ Published in Rossiyskaya Gazeta on August 1, 2025 ✍️ Marking the 80th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and WWII in 2025 serves as an occasion for us to recall and reaffirm the importance of peace which came at such a high cost for our forefathers. We must also be mindful of how fragile this peace architecture is. In fact, its integrity hinges upon the ability of countries and their people to engage in coordinated collective action. Back in 1945, the year of Victory, major powers realised the need to overcome their differences for the sake of the humankind as a whole. This paved the way for establishing the United Nations as one of the key derivatives of this vision. In fact, the purposes and principles set out in the UN Charter remain relevant to this day and are in step with the reality of an emerging multipolar world order. But there is another international event which happened precisely 50 years ago and is worth commemorating. This is when the Helsinki Final Act of the Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe (CSCE) was signed. It became a landmark event in consolidating the post-war architecture based on the framework resulting from the Yalta and Potsdam conferences. ☝️ Those camping on unfriendly positions towards Russia seek to diminish and sweep under the carpet the fact that our country, which was the USSR at that time, played a leading role in the Helsinki process, while also distorting the objectives the Soviet leaders were pursuing. We are facing groundless and unappealing accusations of undermining the European security framework, and politicians in the EU and NATO have made no secret of their intention to re-write the outcomes of WWII and do not shy away from concocting barbaric fakes for that purpose. Key points: • Western countries have breached all the OSCE agreements on arms control and confidence-building measures. Russia has appealed to the conscience of Western elites more than once, inviting them to coordinate reliable security guarantees based on fundamental commitment adopted within the OSCE. • Europe is deeply immersed in Russophobia, and its militarisation is essentially becoming uncontrollable. There are more than enough facts of this. <...> This brings historical events to mind: with their current leaders, modern Germany and the rest of Europe are transforming into a Fourth Reich. • In recent years, the West has openly shown absolute contempt for the OSCE’s principles & embarked on the path of suppressing rivals through economic pressure, including unlawful unilateral measures against Russia, Belarus and any other country that strives to defend its legitimate national interests. The OSCE marked a decisive end to practical cooperation between the East and the West. • The scale of accumulated OSCE problems is immense. Burdened by them, the Organisation has been side-lined in international affairs. The Vienna platform no longer offers space for cooperation or security. The architects of the Helsinki Final Act did not envisage such a future for the pan-European process. It is high time to consider whether such an Organisation has any reason to persist. • Today, the ideas of sovereign equality of states and their mutually respectful dialogue – strangled in the OSCE – are being realised through multilateral cooperation projects within the CSTO, the CIS, #SCO, and other regional frameworks across Eurasia. • As a strategic objective, Russia envisions forming a flexible and resilient architecture of equal & indivisible security and cooperation in Eurasia, capable of addressing contemporary challenges. • There will be no future for the OSCE if NATO and EU countries do away with the consensus rule and continue using this platform with its headquarters in Vienna as their private mouthpiece for spreading shameless propaganda campaigns to demonise Russia & any other parties who break ranks, while backing their underlings in Kiev. 🇷🇺🇧🇾 On June 9-10, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrovheld talks with Foreign Minister of the Republic of Belarus Maxim Ryzhenkov, who was on his first official visit in Moscow. The talks were held in a traditionally trust-based and truly comradely atmosphere. The Ministers discussed a wide range of key issues of Russia-Belarus strategic partnership and alliance. They focused on diplomatic support for the integration process in the Union State. They voiced coinciding or quite similar positions, while considering current international and regional issues, including the resolution of the Ukraine crisis. The Sides exchanged opinions regarding their future collaboration to forge a Greater Eurasian Partnership and new Eurasian security architecture. Following the meeting, Sergey Lavrov and Maxim Ryzhenkov signed a joint address to the foreign ministers of Eurasian states on drafting the Charter of Eurasian Diversity and Multipolarity in the 21st Century. The Ministers reviewed, in great detail, issues of future integration within the framework of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (#CSTO), the Eurasian Economic Union (#EEU), the Commonwealth of Independent States (#CIS) and the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (#SCO), as well as mutual collaboration at the United Nations Organisation and the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (#OSCE). 🇷🇺 The Security Council of the Russian Federation: ⚡️The comprehensive high-level international dialogue on the future architecture of global security has definitively dispelled the myth of Russia’s isolation. The 13th International Meeting of High Representatives for Security Issues concluded in Moscow. The three-day international dialogue chaired by Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Sergey Shoigu held at Rossiya National Centre was attended by 126 delegations from 105 countries that are members of #BRICS, the #SCO, #ASEAN, the #CIS, #CELAC, the African Union, the #CSTO, and other international organisations. Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov took part in the plenary session, during which 60 speakers delivered their remarks. The Minister shared his assessments of the Ministry’s performance amid dynamic global processes. The Russian delegation held over 80 bilateral meetings, while foreign representatives held more than 40 bilateral meetings among themselves. Multilateral meetings were held in BRICS, the SCO, the CIS, and Russia-ASEAN formats. A briefing was organized for delegations from African countries, while an expert seminar on global security issues took place as well. 💬 From Secretary of the Security Council of Russia Sergey Shoigu’s remarks at a news conference following the meeting: “The high level of participants and the sheer number of participating countries clearly showed the urgency and the demand for holding such events and dispelled the myth of Russia’s isolation this time again. The participants unanimously noted that the meeting was held in an atmosphere of mutual trust, and the discussions were informative and productive. The open and trust-based dialogue about the need for forming equal and indivisible security architecture served as an effective confirmation of the fact that the multipolar world, in which the security of each country matters, already exists.” Foreign delegations expressed strong interest in the exhibition ‘Journey across Russia’ by the National Centre, which showcased the diversity of our country’s scientific research and cultural endeavours and the multifaceted achievements of modern-day Russia, as well as in the ‘We Accuse’ photo exhibition about the crimes committed by the Kiev regime during the special military operation in Ukraine, as well as in an exhibition dedicated to the 80th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The agenda of the 13th forum focuses on international security cooperation. ℹ️ The Security Council of the Russian Federation has been holding the annual international meetings of high representatives in charge of security issues since 2010.
