📰Интервью официального представителя МИД России М.В.Захаровой журналу «Эксперт»(12 августа 2025 года) Полный текст интервью ❓ Вопрос: Что можно понимать под информационной войной, кто её аудитория и непосредственные участники, информационные «войска»? 💬М.В.Захарова: «Коллективный Запад» развязал против нашей страны полномасштабную гибридную войну, одной из составляющих которой как раз и является информационное противостояние. <...> В евроатлантических столицах по-прежнему грезят о нанесении нам «стратегического поражения» и ради исполнения этой идеи фикс готовы на всё. Руками Запада был создан и вскормлен неонацистский киевский режим, зацикленный на уничтожении всего русского. Блицкриг против нашей страны не удался, санкции провалились, накачка вооружением киевских головорезов не может изменить ситуацию на фронте. Для оправдания агрессии и канализации накапливающегося в обществе негатива против России развёрнута многокомпонентная диффамационная кампания, подпитываемая постоянными провокациями, фейками. <...> Продолжают осуществляться попытки насадить миру антироссийскую, русофобскую матрицу сознания – причём, важно понимать, что её закладкой и продвижением там занимаются на протяжении столетий. От газет и прессы XIX века до оголтелой антисоветской пропаганды, до фейковых кампаний и «хайли лайкли» провокаций нового тысячелетия. Сегодня мы наблюдаем апогей этих русофобских усилий. <…> Информационное противостояние по большому счёту и не прекращалось. <…> Самое действенное оружие – правда и факты. ☝️ В качестве инструментария используем все доступные нам средства:и классические, традиционные, и новые методы. Например, задействуются возможности цифровой дипломатии. В этой области МИД России один из мировых лидеров: при помощи нашей цифровой сети, аккаунтов Министерства, наших загранучреждений, российских дипломатов мы доносим правду и объективную информацию о нашей стране. Удаётся достучаться до аудитории даже самых отдалённых стран. <…> В странах Запада сегодня имеется колоссальный запрос на достовернуюинформацию и разные точки зрения. ❓ Вопрос: На каком мы сейчас этапе в противостоянии с информационными «вбросами» со стороны недружественных нам стран? 💬М.В.Захарова: Отдельное направление работы Министерства – противодействие дезинформации, фиксация и разоблачение фейков, проверка фактов. Создан и успешно функционирует механизм оперативного реагирования на фейки: опровергаем и распространяем контртезисы. Используем #Антифейк / антифейки (термин придуман и внедрён МИД) – опровержения и разборы публикаций в СМИ и вбросов. Особый жанр – обзорные материалы, в которых фиксируем массив публикаций, содержащих недостоверную информацию. <…> Это конкретная, системная работа. Мы не имеем права ею не заниматься. Действия недружественных стран, «коллективного Запада» подталкивают всю планету к катастрофе, загоняют все страны в «мир лжи», мир постправды. Мы не имеем права сдаться и отказаться от правды: за неё необходимо бороться, отстаивать каждый день и каждый час. <...> Буквально на днях запустили новый раздел на нашем сайте (также размещается и в соцсетях), в котором собираем примеры использования представителями западного политистеблишмента и киевского режима «языка ненависти», наиболее одиозные русофобские высказывания. Обязательным пунктом информационной войны Запада против России является переписывание истории. Многие из наиболее рьяных евроатлантистов – прямые потомки гитлеровских прихвостней или пресмыкавшихся перед ними коллаборационистов. <…> Цель фальсификаторов – оправдание нацистских преступников и уничтожение памяти о подвиге советского народа. ❓ Вопрос: Какие основные методы борьбы за правду в информационном пространстве использует Россия? В каких каналах нам это делать сложнее, где – проще? 💬М.В.Захарова: Как уже говорила, в борьбе за правду используем... правду и факты. Приятно наблюдать, что люди во всём мире тянутся к правде, всё большее разочаровываясь в паутине лжи Запада. Убеждена, что правда всегда возобладает. А мы будем по мере наших возможностей помогать. ⚡️На сообщение о подготовке саммита Россия-США Украина отреагировала резким увеличением числа обстрелов населенных пунктов и гражданских объектов на территории России. Если в начале недели ВСУ перманентно обстреливали гражданские объекты на территории примерно 50 населенных пунктов, то после сообщения о подготовке переговоров, число населенных пунктов, попавших под украинские удары выросло примерно до 130 (138 – в субботу, и 128 – в воскресенье). Результатом такой «активизации» стало убийство украинскими боевиками 22 мирных жителей, ставших жертвами ударов беспилотников и артобстрелов. За неделю с 4 по 10 августа от обстрелов нацистов пострадали 127 мирных жителей: ранены 105 человек, в том числе 6 несовершеннолетних детей, погибли 22 человека. Всего по гражданским целям ВСУ выпустили не менее 3089 боеприпасов, это более чем по 440 прилетов в сутки. Среди множества преступлений ВФУ мы выделили следующие: 🔺В городе Михайловка Херсонской области 11-летняя девочка была ранена в результате удара дрона. 🔺3 медика пострадали от FPV-дрона в Троицком в ЛНР. 🔺В Энергодаре БпЛА атаковал спецтранспорт МЧС во время тушения пожара. 🔺В Сватово в результате удара беспилотника погибли 4 сотрудника муниципального предприятия. 🔺В результате дроновых атак на подстанцию в Курской области без электроснабжения остались более 9 тысяч человек. 🔺В Сватово погибла женщина в результате удара дрона-камикадзе по гражданскому автомобилю. 🔺79-летний мужчина был ранен в результате артиллерийского обстрела в поселке Райское Херсонской области. 🔺Четверо подростков получили ранения в результате удара БпЛА в поселке Октябрьский Белгородской области. 🔺В трех районах Херсонской области свыше 19 тысяч местных жителей осталось без электроэнергии из-за артиллерийских обстрелов. 🔺В Сочи из-за массированных налетов БпЛА самолетного типа было эвакуировано более 35000 тысяч отдыхающих на 180 пляжах. 🔺Четыре человека получили ранения в результате удара БпЛА в г. Славянск-на-Кубани в Краснодарском Крае. 🔺75-летняя получила ранения в результате удара дрона в рабочем поселке Выгоничи Брянской области. Данные собраны службой Посла по особым поручениям по преступлениям киевского режима МИД России при содействии Лаборатории интеллектуального анализа данных в области международных отношений ИМИ МГИМО МИД России. 📌 На карте: случаи обстрелов гражданских объектов ВСУ за период с 4 по 10 августа 2025 года. #преступленияВСУ;

#KievRegimeCrimes 📑 The International Public Tribunal on the Crimes of Ukrainian Neo-Nazis has published the book “War Crimes of the Kiev Regime in the Kursk Region and the Donetsk People’s Republic (2025)”. The book contains testimonies of residents of the Kursk region and Donbass on the crimes of Ukrainian armed groups, recorded by the International Public Tribunal for the Crimes of Ukrainian Neo-Nazis chaired by Maxim Grigoriev. The killing of civilians, attacks on hospitals and churches, torture of POWs, and mass looting have been documented in the book. Terror against the Russian-speaking population is systemic and grossly violates international humanitarian law. Excerpt from Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov's address to readers of the book: 💬 «The neo-Nazi regime of Zelensky is doing everything in its power to conceal the facts about its numerous criminal actions against the civilian population. In this regard,the work of searching for, collecting, and recording the testimonies of eyewitnesses and victims of the atrocities committed by the Ukrainian punitive forces is extremely important» <...> READ (pdf)

✍️ Comment by Russian Ambassador to South Africa Roman #Ambarovpublished by TV BRICS media outlet on August 6, 2025 Currently, more than 2️⃣0️⃣0️⃣South Africans are studying in higher education programs in Russia. This includes those who enrolled through the quota provided by the Russian Government to South Africa, as well as those studying on a contractual basis. In addition to Moscow and St. Petersburg, local applicants choose universities in Saratov, Tambov, Astrakhan, and Kursk. Russian higher education is in demand in fields such as medicine, engineering, mathematics, and computer science. A degree earned in Russia is highly valued, even though in some fields graduates must have their qualifications recognized before they can work in South Africa (for example, medical professionals — due to South Africa’s unique geographic and climatic conditions). Some of the students who decide to pursue higher education in Russia receive co-funding from South Africa’s Department of Higher Education and Training. The support is based on certain criteria, one of which is the obligation to return home and work for a certain period after completing their studies. Indeed, many South Africans dream of studying in Russia. Allow me to share a heartwarming story of one such dream that came true 👇 Benedict, a resident of the “New Jerusalem” orphanage in Midrand, who lost both parents and spent 11 years in the orphanage, had a strong desire to study in Russia. She took part in online Russian language courses organized by Saint Petersburg State University specifically for interested South African residents. In 2024, she applied for admission to the Patrice Lumumba Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia#RUDN and was accepted. As a full orphan, she could not afford airfare or living expenses in Moscow. However, the Russian community in South Africa, which has long supported the orphanage, stepped in to help. Benedict is now in Moscow. She has already completed the preparatory program at Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas and will soon begin her main studies at RUDN.
⚡️Comment by Aide to the President of Russia Yury Ushakov on Vladimir Putin’s meeting with US President’s Special Envoy Steve Witkoff(August 7, 2025) 💬Yury Ushakov: This meeting took place in a business-like atmosphere and was quite constructive. Both Sides can be satisfied with the outcomes of this conversation. The discussion focused on matters dealing with future efforts to work together in the context of resolving the Ukraine crisis. 🇷🇺🇺🇸 Once again, it was noted that Russia-US relations could be placed on a totally different, mutually beneficial footing, which would be in stark contrast with the way these relations have evolved in recent years. ❗️ Regarding the Ukraine agenda, at the proposal of the United States, there was a principled agreement to hold a top-level bilateral meeting in the coming days, which means a meeting between presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump. Together with our American colleagues, we are about to start working on the specific parameters of this meeting and its venue. The venue has also been coordinated, and we will communicate on this point a little later. As for the option of holding a trilateral meeting, which for some reason became a subject of speculation yesterday in Washington, the US representative simply mentioned it during the meeting at the Kremlin. However, there was no specific discussion on this topic. Russia has not commented on this option in any way. Our suggestion primarily focuses on preparing for a bilateral meeting with Donald Trump. What matters most is that the meeting proves successful and produces tangible results. It is already well known that Donald Trump spoke to several of his European partners on the phone to discuss these issues after Steve Witkoff reported back to him. It is worth noting in this regard that we have also been updating our close partners and friends through the relevant communication channels to inform them on the topics discussed during the meeting with Steve Witkoff. Next week was suggested as a possible timeframe [for holding the meeting], but since the effort to prepare for this important event is only just beginning for both Parties, it is hard to say how long the preparations will take. That said, the option of holding this meeting sometime next week was on the table, and we hold quite a positive view in this regard. #RussiaUS

🕯On August 6, 1945, exactly 80 years ago, humanity witnessed one of the most horrific events in history, when the United States dropped an atomic bomb on the Japanese city of Hiroshima, targeting civilians for the first time. ◼️ At 8.15 am the hands of the clock in Hiroshima stood still. The “Little Boy” atomic bomb, weighing 4.4 tons, exploded at an altitude of 576 metres above ground, instantly incinerating over 80'000 people. The temperature at the epicentre of the explosion reached nearly 4'000 degrees Celsius, destroying everything within an 800-metre radius. Tens of thousands more residents of the city died in the following months from radiation sickness and other impacts of radiation exposure. The development of the deadly weapon commenced in the United States as early as 1939, before the launch of the secret Manhattan Project in 1942, led by nuclear physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer and General Leslie R. Groves, Jr. The creation of the nuclear arsenal cost a staggering $2 billion (equivalent to roughly $45 billion today), and involved more than 130'000 specialists. The US leadership sought to acquire an ultimate weapon that would enable them to impose their will on the entire world. By the summer of 1945, three atomic bombs had been produced: the “Gadget” for testing, the “Little Boy,” and the “Fat Man”. The latter two were designed to intimidate Japan and to showcase the growing power of the United States to the Soviet Union. ☝️ Western historians are still trying to justify this barbaric act as necessary to force Japan to surrender. However, by early August 1945, the Japanese troops were already on the brink of exhaustion, and the Soviet Union’s entry into the war on August 8 played a key role in defeating militarist Japan. The bombing of Hiroshima was a brutal demonstration of American force in an attempt to justify the huge financial investment in the nuclear programme. 🕯 Survivors of the atomic bombing, known in Japan as “hibakusha” (literally, “people affected by exposure”), lived for decades with severe physical and psychological consequences. According to Japan’s Health Ministry, approximately 200'000 Hibakusha were still alive in 2012. 💬 Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov: To this day, the terrible death of innocent civilians strikes a chord with millions of people on our planet. It is hard to fullyunderstand what the masterminds and perpetrators of such an inhumane act were guided by. (excerpt from Sergey Lavrov’s message to the participants of the memorial ceremony in Hiroshima on the 75th anniversary of the atomic bombing). Neither President Harry Truman nor his successors ever apologised for the suffering inflicted on the residents of Hiroshima and their descendants. Moreover, Japanese officials have chosen to silence the fact that the United States was responsible for the tragedy. #NoStatuteOfLimitations

🎙 Comment by Russian Ambassador to South Africa Roman Ambarov to TASS (August 5, 2025) ❓Question: What charitable initiatives is the Russian Embassy in South Africa involved in? 💬Roman Ambarov: Russia has always been and remains a reliable friend of the Republic of South Africa—not only in the fields of political, economic, cultural, and educational cooperation, but also in providing humanitarian aid. In its work, the Russian Embassy in South Africa follows a principle supported by the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin: “African solutions to African problems.” We regularly take part in charitable initiatives organized by South Africa’s Department of International Relations and Cooperation during #MandelaDay and #MandelaMonth. In July of this year, together with other foreign diplomatic missions, we supported a primary school in Gauteng Province that is in dire need of funding by donating chalkboards and food for the students. I would like to emphasize that our charitable work is not limited to one-time actions. It is a year-round, systematic effort carried out by our Embassy staff. Two South African children’s institutions are under the care of the Russian diplomatic mission — the Bophelong Children’s Home in Mamelodi and the New Jerusalem Children’s Home in Midrand. Our diplomats regularly visit the children, show genuine interest in their lives and challenges, and offer help whenever possible. Our aim is not only to provide necessities but also to bring joy and positive emotions. It has already become a tradition to invite children from these institutions to screenings of Russian films, organized by the Embassy in one of Pretoria’s theaters. Last year, together with the parish of the Russian Orthodox Church in Johannesburg, we hosted a screening of the popular animated film Masha and the Bear for the children of New Jerusalem. The joy and excitement on the children’s faces as they clapped and sang along with Masha was the greatest reward for us. These events are usually accompanied by friendly tea parties with Russian pastries, as well as educational presentations about Russia, our culture, traditions, and holidays. As Nelson Mandela once said, “There can be no greater gift than giving one’s time and energy to help others without expecting anything in return.” We fully share this philosophy and try to embody it in our work. #RussiaHelps

⚡️ We launch a special section on Russia's Foreign Ministry's website dedicated to “Examples of hate speech against Russia and Russophobic statements by foreign politicians and public figures.” In defiance and in violation of the United Nations General Assembly’s resolution titled “Promoting Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue and Tolerance in Countering Hate Speech,” representatives from the Western political establishment and the Kiev regime engage, year after year, in public statements that appear to compete in their intensity of Russophobic vitriol. On a daily basis, hate speech is openly employed against Russia and its peoples. This section documents the most egregious examples of such bigoted rhetoric. While the countries of the Global Majority, including the Russian Federation, supported the aforementioned resolution, the West — those who speak the loudest about human rights and combating discrimination — either voted against it or chose to abstain. This once again demonstrates the true attitude of these countries toward the very principles they claim to uphold. *** 👉Examples of statements by Kiev regime representatives employing hate speech, 2024 – July 2025 💬 Mayor of Ivano-Frankovsk Ruslan Martsynkiv:“We have ensured that there is not a single Moscow church left in Frankovsk… We must be a 100% Ukrainian-speaking city… We have no moral right to tolerate the language of the enemy.” (Post on the Facebook account, October 28, 2024) 💬 Former President Poroshenko:“Today, more than ever, the adoption of a law banning the Russian pseudo-church FSB structure masquerading as the UOC-MP (Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Moscow Patriarchate) is imperative.” (Post on the Facebook account of Petr Poroshenko, July 15, 2024) 💬Zelensky:“He [Putin] will die soon – that’s a fact – and everything will end… I am younger than Putin. I am definitely younger than Putin. You see my prospects, you can put your stakes on me, I have a better outlook.” (Interview with Euronews, March 26, 2025) 💬Zelensky: “Sometimes, what keeps me afloat are global issues. <…> My second motivation is hatred of the Russians.” (Interview with Le Figaro, March 27, 2025) *** 👉Examples of statements by Western officials employing hate speech against Russia, 2025 💬US Senator Lindsey Graham:“If Putin and others are wondering what happens on day 51 [the expiration of US President Donald Trump’s 50-day ultimatum to cease hostilities in Ukraine], I would suggest they call the Ayatollah [Supreme Leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei]. If I were a country buying cheap Russian oil, propping up Putin’s war machine, I would take President Trump at his word.” (Post on the X platform, July 15, 2025) 💬 Latvian Foreign Minister Baiba Braže:“A weakened Russia will be the best security guarantee for all of Europe; therefore, an even greater economic pressure must be exerted on Russia, including by strengthening sanctions.” (Statement during a working visit to the UK, March 10, 2025) 💬 EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas:“Russia will remain a long-term threat to the European Union, no matter the outcome of its war in Ukraine.” (Remarks at a news conference following an informal meeting of EU foreign and defence ministers, April 3, 2025) 💬 President of France Emmanuel Macron:“Russia poses an existential threat to Europeans through its actions across multiple domains” (Interview with La Dépêche, February 18, 2025) 💬 President of Poland Andrzej Duda:“Today, Russia has returned to its imperial ambitions, determined to seize sovereign states and subjugate nations once again” (Speech to the Polish-American community, Copernicus Centre, Chicago, United States, March 2, 2025)
#Victory80 🌟 On August 5, 1941, the heroic defence of Odessa — the operation of the Red Army and the USSR’s Black Sea Fleet to defend the city from the Nazi invaders during #WWII. In the early days of Germany's aggression against the Soviet Union, Odessa and its suburbs became the frontline. By early August 1941, the enemy troops encircled the city; its glorious and heroic defence lasted for 73 days. Hitler wanted his forces to break through the Soviet defence lines along the Dniester and seize Odessa. Romanian and German troops mounted their first assault against the city on August 20, 1941, but the Red Army managed to stop the enemy offensive (17 divisions and 7 brigades) and keep them at a distance of 10 to 14 kilometres from the city’s outskirts. Up to 100'000 Odessa residents contributed to preparing the city to fight against the Nazis. Home front workers, including women and teenagers, put enormous efforts every day to build defensive structures: digging trenches, installing barbwire, and erecting barricades. The city’s defenders planted 40'000 mines and dug over 250 kilometres of anti-tank ditches. Almost 38'000 Odessa residents moved to the catacombs to launch a resistance movement behind the Nazi lines. The partisans destroyed 5'000 enemy soldiers and officers, derailed 27 enemy trains carrying military assets, and bombed 248 vehicles. Although the enemy outnumbered Odessa’s defenders, they deterred the Nazi invasion for two months. Owing to their courageous efforts, the Supreme High Command managed to redeploy substantial military forces and equipment to defend Crimea and Sevastopol — Black Sea Fleet’s base. According to varying estimates, the enemy lost over 160'000 soldiers and officers, approximately 200 planes and some 100 tanks in the Battle for Odessa, which made it harder for the Nazi Army Group South’s right wing to advance further east. 🎖 On May 1, 1945, Odessa became one of the first Hero Cities alongside Leningrad, Stalingrad, and Sevastopol, as per an executive order of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. #WeRemember#GreatPatrioticWar
