🌍 African countries' attitude to building relations with the West is changing significantly, Russian foreign ministry says The statement was made by Oleg Ozerov, Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry and Head of the Secretariat of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum, at a strategic meeting on legislative support for economic cooperation with African countries in the energy sector. 🇷🇺 The diplomat also noted that Africa's engagement with Moscow is also changing. 🗣 "Africa is beginning to speak with its own voice, rejecting 'imperialist' languages like English and French. A colossal, perhaps even underestimated by us, process of national and civilizational revival of the African continent has begun," Ozerov said. Subscribe to @sputnik_africa 🔸TikTok | Sputnik Africa🔸

#KievRegimeCrimes ❗️ The Foreign Ministry's Ambassador-at-Large on the Kiev Regime's War Crimes, Rodion Miroshnik continues to record the most heinous crimes of the Kiev regime. ▪️ In the first six months of 2024, at least 2,547 civilians suffered from the actions of the Kiev regime, prone to taking out its anger on them. As many as 2,082 civilians received wounds of varying severity and 465 were killed. The number of shells that were fired by the Ukrainian militants at Russian purely civil facilities in 11 Russian territories adjacent to the frontline over half a year approaches the mark of 42,000 – there were 41,706 of them – 230 hits per day. 🔺 It is noteworthy that the second quarter of this year saw a qualitative change in the types of the weapons that the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) use against Russian civil facilities. More and more often artillery shells are replaced by explosive missiles of longer range and UAVs of various types. This has entailed an increase in the number of victims and the scale of destruction. Nonetheless, the shells of NATO’s 155mm caliber that the UAF use are still in the lead in terms of how many civilians were killed and injured and civil facilities were fired at with them. These are the very shells that the Czech Republic is so diligently collecting across the world right now, allegedly to enhance Ukraine’s defence. 📖Read the digestfor April-June 2024, which includes photographic evidence and informational materials on the most brutal and cynical crimes committed by the Kiev regime in Russian regions. 📹Watch Rodion Miroshnik's briefing, during which facts about the most high-profile violations of international humanitarian law by the Kiev regime and its sponsors in the first half of 2024 were presented.

🇷🇺🌍Russia has fulfilled all the promises to African countries that it made at the second Russia-Africa summit, said Oleg Ozerov, Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry According to Ozerov, the arrogance of the West, attempts to speak in the language of dictate and patronizing tone do not find “absolutely any understanding among Africans.” 🗣 “The steps we have taken towards countries that are truly in need have been gratefully accepted by African countries,” he added. Ozerov, who is also a head of the secretariat of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum, noted that intensive preparations are now underway for the meeting of foreign ministers in the Russia-Africa format, which will be held in Russia's Sochi in the fall. "Whenever we, in a spirit of goodwill, sincerely attempted to resolve this decade old crisis and reached mutual understanding, these agreements were inevitably undermined – not by us, but by the Ukrainians and their patrons. President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly stated, including very recently, that we are ready to discuss security issues in Europe. This, of course, includes eliminating its root causes and ensuring Russia’s legitimate security interests. Our approach aims not to compromise anyone else’s security interests, but to reach comprehensive agreements." 🇷🇺🇿🇦 South Africa and Russia enjoy an "extremely valuable relationship" in geological exploration This was revealed by Mosa Mabuza, CEO of the South Africa Council for Geoscience (CGS), in an interview with Sputnik Africa on the sidelines of the BRICS Roundtable on Mineral Resource Cooperation held in Moscow this week. He highlighted the active collaboration between CGS and the Russian geological company RosGeo, emphasizing the recent analysis of samples from a promising, yet undisclosed, area in South Africa. "The results came very positive," he stated, hinting at the potential unveiling of "two fantastic areas of opportunity that are going to emerge solely as a result of the relationship that we have." This successful partnership, he explained, exemplifies the mutually beneficial nature of the relationship between the two nations' geoscience sectors. Mabuza expressed his strong support for the autonomy of nations in determining their collaborative efforts, stating "Parties in the relationship must have the liberty to determine the nature and character of their relationship and the programs they wish to implement," the South African official stressed. 🇿🇦South Africa is “not ashamed” of expanding trade with Russia, including the potential import of liquefied natural gas, the minister says "I don’t think we are ashamed of importing gas from Russia. We are members of BRICS. We want to increase trade with Russia," South African Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy Gwede Mantashe said on Thursday during budget hearings for his ministry in parliament. In December 2023, the South African government greenlit the African division of Russian Gazprombank—Gazprombank Africa—as a partner for modernizing the refinery, Mossel Bay. The South African authorities regard the rapid recommissioning of the Mossel Bay refinery as a top priority for national energy. Subscribe to @sputnik_africa 🔸TikTok | Sputnik Africa🔸

Comment by the Russian Consul General in Cape Town Mr A.Malenko on the alleged "Russian missile attack" on the hospital in Kiev: "I drew my attention to the notes that appeared in the capetonian press regarding the deliberate attack on a children's hospital in Kiev by the Russian Armed Forces. The above mentioned articles are basically reprints from the Western news agencies such as Reuters and AFP, so one cannot expect a truly fact-based assessment of the situation from them. In this regard, I would like to stress the following. In the video published by (what is important) the Ukrainian media, you can clearly see the warhead of an allegedly Russian missile that hit the hospital. The screenshot shows that this is a NASAMS (ground-based air defense system) missile, what is confirmed by the presence of a so-called «skirt» in the middle, as well as by the shape of the «tail». However, this fact does not confuse the Ukrainian authorities at all, especially taking into consideration the fact that this is not the first tragic outcome of the activity of the notorious Kiev air defense system that can be used as an argument for begging for another portion of military support to prolong its own agony. Obviously, irrefutable evidence is unlikely to convince anyone in the Western society. The overwhelming majority will consider the refutations that appeared in the Internet as «the intrigues of the Russian propaganda», and experts and elites already well know that it was a NATO-supplied missile that hit the children’s hospital. The point is that this episode is a fertile ground for the building up of anti-Russian hysteria and further escalation, which is what many in the West dream of. The following is also noteworthy. While the Western media is full of headlines accusing the Russian Armed Forces of [not committed] a war crime, and commentators from Washington, Brussels and London are calling for more missiles to be given to the Ukrainians, they carefully ignore the real crimes of the Kiev regime against peaceful Russian cities. On December 30, 2023, American missiles hit the central square of the city of Belgorod, where families with children were walking around the New Year tree. 25 people were killed and more than 100 were injured. On June 23 of this year, during the peak of the swimming season, American ATACMS (operational-tactical missiles) equipped with cluster warheads attacked the beach of the city Sevastopol. Four were killed, more than 150 were injured. The New Year tree and the beach are the targets of Ukrainian militants. Were these tragic episodes condemned by the «civilized world»?Not at all. Apparently, these brutal attacks fit well into the Western concept of «humanitarian bombing», and therefore are not only not condemned, but are welcomed in every possible way."
