Mr. Igor Mozgo took part in a farewell reception of the UN Resident Coordinator in Eritrea A.Sande. In a brief conversation with A. Sande, the Ambassador thanked her for mutually beneficial cooperation and wished her success in her new position as a UNICEF representative in China.

20 октября с.г. Посол России Игорь Мозго нанес визит главе экономического крыла партии НФДС и президенту крупнейшей государственной горнодобывающей корпорации ENAMCO Хагосу Гебрехивету. В ходе беседы стороны обсудили ситуацию в регионе и поступательное развитие двусторонних отношений. On October 20, Russian Ambassador H.E. Mr. Igor Mozgo paid a visit to Mr. Hagos Gebrehivet, head of the economic wing of the PFDJ party and CEO of the ENAMCO state corporation. During the conversation, the parties discussed the situation in the region, its future and development of bilateral relations.

20 октября с.г. В Посольстве состоялось мероприятие, посвященное проводам эритрейских студентов, поступивших в российские ВУЗы. В нем приняли участие Посол России И.Мозго, представители МИД и Мининстерства образования страны, а также студенты, прошедшие 2-й этап отбора на обучение в России по стипендии, представленной Правительством РФ. В ходе беседы студенты были проинформированы о деталях предстоящей поездки, особенностях учебного процесса в России, и заполнили недостающие документы. On October 20 The Embassy hosted an event of seeing off Eritrean students who entered Russian universities. It was attended by the Ambassador of Russia I.Mozgo, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Education, as well as students who passed the 2nd stage of selection to study in Russia on the Russian government scholarship. During the conversation students were informed about the details of the upcoming trip, the specifics of the educational process in Russia, and filled in the missing documents.

17 октября с.г. Посол России в Эритрее Игорь Мозго принял участие в праздновании Всемирного дня Продовольствия, организованном Минсельхозом Эритреи, офисами ФАО и ПРООН. В ходе встречи с министром сельского хозяйства Эритреи А.Берхе Посол передал ему небольшую партию семян овощей российского производства для экспериментов и опытных посадок. On October 17 Russian Ambassador to Eritrea Igor Mozgo took part in the World Food Day celebration organized by the Eritrean Ministry of Agriculture, FAO and UNDP offices. During the meeting with the Minister of Agriculture of Eritrea, A.Berhe, Ambassador handed over a small batch of Russian-made vegetable seeds for experimental plantings.

11 октября Посол России И.Мозго оставил запись в книге соболезнований в связи с кончиной генерального секретаря Конфедерации эритрейских рабочих Т.Байре. В ходе памятного мероприятия Посол отметил, что Т.Байре был патриотом своей родины и служил ей до конца жизни. October 11, Russian Ambassador I. Mozgo left his message in the book of condolences for the General Secretary of the National Confederation of Eritrean Workers Mr. T.Bayre. During the commemoration the Ambassador noted that T. Bayre was a patriot of his motherland and served it till the end of his live.

27 сентября Посол России И.Мозго принял участие в церемонии празднования Воздвижения Креста Господня, организованной Священным синодом Эритрейской Православной Церкви Тевахедо. В ходе мероприятия посол провел встречу с Патриархом ЭПЦ Абуной Керлосом. Поздравил его, членов Священного синода и весь эритрейский народ с этим большим православным праздником. On September 27, Ambassador of Russia I. Mozgo took part in the ceremony of celebrating the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, organized by the Holy Synod of the Tewahedo Orthodox Church of Eritrea. During the event, the Ambassador met with Patriarch Abuna Kerlos of the EOC. Congratulated him, the members of the Holy Synod and the entire Eritrean people on this great Orthodox holiday.

12 сентября Посол России И.Мозго встретился с директором ЧОП «Уорса» Мулугетой Кусму для обсуждения вопросов обеспечения безопасности посольства, а также текущей региональной обстановки. On September 12, Ambassador of Russia I. Mozgo met with the head of the private security company "Warsa" Mulugeta Kusmu to discuss issues of ensuring the security of the Embassy, as well as the current regional situation.

19 августа в министерстве информации Эритреи Посол России И.Мозго провел брифинг для эритрейских журналистов, посвященный специальной военной операции России на Украине. Аудитории была представлена информация о причинах, целях и задачах операции, о текущей ситуации на «передовой», раздуваемой западниками проблеме продовольственного кризиса, последствиях санкций в отношении России, в том числе для мировой экономики. On August 19, Ambassador of Russia I. Mozgo held a briefing for Eritrean journalists on the special military operation of Russia in Ukraine at the Ministry of Information of Eritrea. The audience was provided with information about the reasons, goals and objectives of the operation, about the current situation on the front line, food crisis problem inflated by Westerners, the consequences of sanctions against Russia, including for the global economy.

16 августа Сотрудники Посольства России в Эритрее во главе с Послом России И.Н.Мозго посетили Национальный музей Эритреи. В ходе экскурсии россияне ознакомились с древнейшей историей территории, на которой сегодня располагается Эритрея, колониальным и более современным периодом истории страны, а также народностями ее населяющими. On August 16 Employees of the Russian Embassy in Eritrea with the Russian Ambassador Igor Mozgo, visited the National Museum of Eritrea. During the museum tour, the Russians got acquainted with the ancient history of the territory where Eritrea is located today, the colonial and more modern periods of the country's history, as well as the ethnicities inhabiting it.

On August 9, Russian Ambassador to Eritrea, Mr.Igor N. Mozgo had a meeting with the Eritrean Ambassador to Russia Mr.Petros Tsegai Asgedom. The parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation, the development of humanitarian ties, the studies of Eritrean students in Russia and the participation of delegations in international events.
