Стороны обсудили ситуацию в Эфиопии и эфиопском регионе Тыграй, а также результаты визита в Эритрею министра иностранных дел России С.В.Лаврова. On February 17, the Ambassador of Russia to Eritrea I.Mozgo met with the Charge d'Affaires of Ethiopia in Eritrea Z.Nigus. The parties discussed the situation in Ethiopia and the region of Tigray, as well as the results of a visit to Eritrea by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

10 февраля в посольстве состоялось праздничное мероприятие, посвященное празднованию Дня Дипломата. Посол И.Мозго поздравил сотрудников, рассказал об истории праздника и пожелал успехов в карьере. On February 10, the embassy hosted an event dedicated to the celebration of the Diplomat's Day. Ambassador I. Mozgo congratulated the employees, spoke about the history of the holiday and wished them success in their careers.

5 февраля посол России И.Мозго посетил прием в посольстве КНР, посвященный празднованию нового года по китайскому календарю. В ходе беседы с послом Китая К.Ге было выражено совместное намерение по продолжению взаимодействия по интересующим вопросам в Эритрее. On February 5, Russian Ambassador I. Mozgo attended a reception at the PRC Embassy dedicated to the celebration of the New Year according to the Chinese calendar. During the conversation with Chinese Ambassador K. Ge, parties expressed intention to continue interaction on issues of interest in Eritrea.

8 февраля Посол России И.Мозго встретился с послом Йемена А.Аль-Сири. В ходе встречи обсудили региональную повестку дня, ситуацию в Йемене и некоторые вопросы йеменско-эритрейских отношений. On February 8, Ambassador of Russia I. Mozgo met with Ambassador of Yemen A.Al-Siri. During the meeting, counterparts discussed the regional agenda, situation in Yemen and some issues of Yemeni-Eritrean relations.

8 февраля Посол России И.Мозго посетил посольство Турции в Эритрее и оставил запись в книге соболезнований в связи с жертвами после серии разрушительных землетрясений в Турции и Сирии. On February 8, Russian Ambassador I. Mozgo visited the Turkish Embassy in Asmara and left a note in the book of condolences in connection with the victims after a series of earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.

Обсудили ряд проблемных вопросов, договорились о более плотном взаимодействии, в том числе в контексте подготовки ко Второму саммиту Россия-Африка. On February 7, Ambassador of Russia to Eritrea I. Mozgo met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Eritrea O. Saleh. The parties summed up the results of the visit made by minister of foreign affairs of Russia S.Lavrov. Discussed a number of issues, agreed on closer cooperation, including preparations for the Second Russia-Africa Summit.
