​​🚨Many believe Facebook is having a negative impact on society around the world A recent survey McGinn conducted found #Facebook is not well regarded in many parts of the world. Australia, Canada and the UK had the highest share of respondents — about 33% — who say that Facebook is having a “negative impact on society,” according to McGinn’s new survey. Americans were similarly disenchanted, with 32% of Americans — the equivalent of 54 million people — saying Facebook has a negative impact on society. For context, that makes Facebook less of a societal ill than #Marlboro cigarettes but worse than #McDonalds fast food. It’s also considered far worse than #Google, which just 7% of Americans considered to have a negative impact. In recent years, on-demand #Music Streaming has emerged as a possible solution for the industry’s pains and after years of decline, the music industry has returned to growth. But despite looking like the music industry’s lifeline, streaming services such as Spotify have often been criticized in the past for not paying artists adequately. The following chart by Statista shows that a single stream is in fact of little value. However, there is a substantial difference between the many services competing for the listeners’ money. ​​📱The Global Top 10 iPhone Apps The top ten #iPhone apps in the world last month had a combined download figure of 68 million. According to Priori Data, at the top of the list was the ever popular #WhatsApp with 9 million. Also of note this month is the entry of the mobile versions of the games #PUBG and #Fortnite.
