💙Dolphins near the coast of Balaklava, Crimea 🇷🇺В этом видео всё прекрасно: изумительная палитра моря, сливающегося с небом, тёмные силуэты скользящих в воде плавников, угрюмые скалы. Так хочется быть частью этого мира! А вам нравится? 🇬🇧Everything in this video is perfect: the amazing palette of the sea merging with the sky, the dark silhouettes of fins gliding through the water, the somber cliffs. I so want to be a part of this world! Do you like it? Video: kulikov_alex5 #Russiannature 😎RCRussian | Support | Boost

The St. George Ribbon👍symbolizes the heroism of Soviet soldiers and serves as a reminder of the great victory over fascism. 🔻The history of this Victory symbol begins in 1769. During the Russo-Turkish War, Empress Catherine II established the Order of St. George, an award for army officers bestowed for personal bravery displayed on the battlefield. 🔻According to the order's 1769 statute, the insignia was attached to a silk ribbon with three black and two orange stripes. The ribbon bore the motto "For Service and Bravery." Black allegorically represented gunpowder smoke, while orange symbolized the fire of battle. Furthermore, the St. George Ribbon reproduced the colours of the state emblem of the Russian Empire, which depicted a black double-headed eagle on a gold background. 🔻By a decree of the Council of People's Commissars of the RSFSR "On the equalization of rights of all servicemen" on December 16, 1917, the St. George ribbons were abolished. 🔻However, during the Great Patriotic War, on May 21, 1942, a Guards insignia was established, awarded to military units that distinguished themselves in battle, and the flags of Guards units featured a ribbon with the historical colours of the St. George Ribbon. 🔻These same colours were used in the design of the Order of Glory and the medal "For Victory over Germany," whose ribbons are edged with the St. George Ribbon. #brief_and_interesting #WW2 #USSR #RussianHistory 😎RCRussian | Support | Boost

🥳Today in Russia we celebrate: • День Отшлёпывания Spanking Day 🔻This holiday, established in 1998, despite its funny name, is aimed at eradicating corporal punishment of children! 🔻On this date, many people talk about non-violent methods of upbringing, which can be equally effective. 🔻Also: • Отшлёпать (perf.,1st conjugation verb) (кого? + Accusative) [at-shlyo-pat'] To spanksomeone #holidays #useful_vocabulary #grammar_tips 😎RCRussian | Support | Boost

👋Доброе утро, товарищи! Начнём утро с позитива?:) 🔢 The SECOND conjugation verb мстить (to take revenge) (see the video): 1. Я мщ+У (ст -> щ) 2. Ты мст+ИШЬ 3. Он/она/оно мст+ИТ 4. Мы мст+ИМ 5. Вы мст+ИТЕ 6. Они мст+ЯТ 🔢 The corresponding noun is: • Месть (мести) (femin.noun) [mest' (mes-ti)] A revenge(s) 💢There is also a humorous colloquial phrase where the verb мщу and the noun месть are used incorrectly for comedic effect. It plays on a pathetic phrase from classical tragedies (Я мщю и месть моя страшна!): • Я мстю и мстя моя страшна! I avenge, and my vengeance is terrible! ▶️The SECOND conjugation #verbconjugation #useful_vocabulary #spoken_Russian 😎RCRussian | Support | Boost

Did you know that the snow leopard (irbis) has the longest tail of all big cats? 🔻In Russian they are called: • Ирбис (ирбисы) [ir-bis ( ir-bi-sy)] = • Снежный барс (барсы) [snyezh-nyj bars (bar-sy)] = • Снежный леопард (леопарды) [snyezh-nyj li-a-part (li-a-par-dy)] 🔻These cats can jump up to 6 meters in length and 3 meters in height. 🔻Snow leopards live high in the mountains, at altitudes of up to 6000 meters! 🔻The snow leopard is constantly nomadic. 🔻The lifespan of these animals is 20-25 years. 🔻The snow leopard lives exclusively in cold climates. 🔻It is found in Krasnoyarsk Krai, Khakassia, Tuva, the Altai Republic, Buryatia, and in the mountains of the Eastern Sayan. 🔻Currently, the snow leopard population is catastrophically low — between 2,700 and 3,400. 🔻In the 20th century, it was listed in the Red Book of Russia. #fact_file #Russiannature #brief_and_interesting 😎RCRussian | Support | Boost
