‘We’ll protect our homes no matter what, in any way we can’. With these slogans, militia movements in the Donbass were formed. Today the DNR celebrates Constitution Day. The residents have paid for it in blood, for the right to live in their land and speak their language. The Constitution was adopted during fierce fighting with the Ukrainian army. Many deputies went to the front immediately after the meeting. Our video shows footage of a rally where people were ready to give their lives to secede from Ukraine. This was the beginning of the militia movement in the DNR. Scary, but the words of those who were there turned out to be prophetic. This is a fragment of the film Maidan: Road to War.
