Today is LPR Constitution Day. Its development and discussion began in a tent camp near the SSU building in Luhansk. The document’s creation was almost a spontaneous idea because there was no time for it: there were Ukrainian troops on the outskirts of the republic. ‘Mom always worries about it so it doesn’t hurt’. Oksana is comforted that her son died without pain. He died defending the inhabitants of the LPR from Ukrainian shelling. Oksana lived in Moscow, and when she came to collect her son's body, she decided to stay in the Donbass and become a volunteer: ‘I realized that pain, sorrow and grief are everywhere here.
