JUST BECAUSE SOMEONE KEEPS YOU AROUND DOESN’T ALWAYS MEAN THAT THEY VALUE YOU. stamp that!

I want to live in a place where love isn't a metaphor for sex, and silence isn't a metaphor for fear; where if you're laughing all day, you're not considered crazy, where if you're quiet it doesn't make you boring and if you want to help someone, it's not to expect something in return; where people do not crave for attention, where small talk doesn't exist, where there are no lies and people genuinely care. A place where you and I are closer together. I want to go there, I want to grow old there, and, above all, I want to love there.

The biggest lesson you'll ever learn is to not force anything: relationships, conversations, friendships, favours, attention, love. Anything forced is not worth fighting for, whatever flows flows, what crashes crashes. It is what it is.

you disrespect yourself when you beg someone for the bare minimum things like love, affection, attention, support, care, reciprocation--- DONT DO THAT SHIT AGAIN.

When i got enough confidence, the stage was gone. When i was sure of losing, i won. When I needed people the most, they left me. When i learnt to dry my tears, i found a shoulder to cry on. When i mastered the skill of hating, someone started loving me. While waiting for the light for hours when i fell asleep, the sun came out. Thats life! You don't know what comes to your table. You just gotta accept and move on.

you have to appreciate those who've been with you. cause in the end, that's the only thing that matters. friendship, honesty, loyalty, morals & respect. people who keep it real with you. who give you love. and always take the time to make sure you're okay. those are the ones who should matter the most.

I crave for quiet places, they never judge you. you simply share your silence with them. they remind you to slow down. they remind you to close your eyes and listen to your soul. they don't force you to share everything you are feeling, they heal you in quietest way possible.

and what I really intended to say in the end remains unsaid. so I'm still and I'm silent, because if i open my mouth, I may never stop screaming

my mumma always tells me "take care of others, god will take care of you"

if making others happy makes you happy, you'll never be sad again. remember that :) selflessness is the key to happiness.

yesterday I was commuting via metro and I saw an old man with his son or maybe his grandson. look at the condition of his flipflops! but he made sure that his son wears a good pair of shoes. listen you can never repay what your parents did for you but the least you could do it to take care of them. moreover it's not a favour you'd do? it's your responsibility cause you owe them your life.

we're breathing pain and healing at the same time. our heart is still breaking and aching, and beating and fighting all at once.
