If they were really "the one." Then you wouldn't be spending so many sleepless nights overthinking about why they're gone. @TheLostDiary ━━━━━━━━━━

stuck in a generation where loyalty is just a tattoo. love is just a social media post. happiness is a myth. lying has become the new normal. and being fake is a lifestyle. @TheLostDiary ━━━━━━━━━━

they ask me about the calmness, but they never ask about the storms I had to go through. no matter how much i wanted to be held, no one was there, i had to suffer, i had to feel every painful memory and yet, put a smile on my face. i had to accept it, i only had myself and i learned that i was enough.

if you're a giver then remember your limits, because the takers don't have any.

You know, sometimes the hardest part is giving yourself the green light to move forward, especially when the weight of the past still lingers. It's like having a key to a door you're scared to open. But here's the thing: moving on is a journey that's meant to be taken at your own pace, a pace that suits your heart's readiness. And you might be surprised, but it's okay to start healing even if those words you long for, those words of apology, never come your way. It's like walking through a path shrouded in uncertainty, hoping for an explanation that might never arrive. Healing doesn't always need the closure we imagine; it's about finding closure within yourself. The truth is, we often hold onto the hope that they'll see the pain they've caused and acknowledge it with an apology. But sometimes, that closure doesn't come. It's a silent ache that resonates deeply within, like an unfinished melody. Yet, even in the absence of their words of remorse, you have the power to write your own ending. You have the strength to heal, to piece your heart back together, and to step forward into a future you're sculpting for yourself. So, yes, it hurts. It stings to not hear the apology you deserve, the closure you crave. But remember, you're not defined by their actions or their lack of words. Your healing journey is your own, and it's about finding the strength to mend and grow, even when the path ahead is uncertain and the apologies remain unspoken. @TheLostDiary

Look from a distance and you'll see the arrogance. Look from the surface and you'll adore the love I have for myself. Come a little closer and you'll see the people I had to let go of to reach where I'm today.

If you're single & you have no desire to connect with anyone on an intimate level..it means this time is for you. For you to create, for you to heal, for you to find & discover more about yourself. For you to build a career, to chase your dreams. Don't force any connections...ur time to love again will come. don't be impatient about it.

I don't remember falling in love with you. I just remember holding your hand realising how much it would hurt when I have to let it go.

There's so much more to life than finding someone who will want you, or being sad over someone who doesn't. There's a lot of wonderful time to be spent discovering yourself without hoping someone will fall in love with you along the way, and it doesn't need to be painful or empty. You need to fill yourself up with love. Not anyone else. Become a whole being on your own. Go on adventures, fall asleep in the woods with friends, wander around the city at night, sit in a coffee shop on your own, take your parents to their favourite places, leave notes in library books, dress up for yourself, give to others, smile a lot. Do all things with love, but don't romanticize life like you can't survive without someone's company. Live for yourself and be happy on your own. It isn't any less beautiful, I promise.
