This problem can be solved by teaching people who have a kind soul how to take care of animals. In general, we humans are the reason for the domestication of animals. We made them adapt to our lifestyle and become dependent on us, and as my professor said, "if we created the scenario, we are responsible for it!" Therefore, through a combination of strict law, public education, and individual moral responsibility, I hope we can build a society that truly honors the creatures who depend on us. It is time to make compassion for animals a responsibility for the owner, whether it is a pet, working, or farm animal. Everyone owning them must have the moral responsibility supported by law to keep them from hunger, discomfort, and distress, as well as allow them to express their natural behavior. There is no religion, ideology, or philosophical thought that encourages people to be cruel to animals. In some religions, there are even phrases that express that a person who cares for an animal is soulful. I observe people harm animals and act cruel to them, and I always ask why. By my observation, people harm animals for four reasons. The first kind of people are cruel to animals without any reason; they don't have any argument. They are unbelievably mean to animals for just nothing. They don't like to see a dog making love, they don't want to see a sleeping cat, they are unhappy about ants going in a row. They feel good after disturbing them and inducing pain and injury. I personally hate such kinds of people. I hate to talk to them and move the animal away from them. The second kind of people are farmers, laborers, or pet owners who think animal feeling is not a big deal. Whenever they see a person who cares for animals, they argue that there are people suffering, that there are people who need help. They don't give ቁራሽ እንጀራ for people in need and are provoked by the person who has a soul that cares for all creatures. I learned how to deal with such kinds of things from Henok Siyum (ተጓዡ ጋዜጠኛ). In his interview with Dr. Endalegeta Kebede, he mentioned that he always talks about wild animals because he is called for that and it is all he knows about them. He feels bad about people's suffering and he tries his best to help them, but he knows more about elephants in Babile and he feels responsible to be a voice for them. (It's not word for word). I always mention him when I find a person who says, "Why so serious about animals?" The thing this kind of people don't know is that caring is not because someone is more important than the other or else. It is about the feeling; it is about being sentient! If any creature feels hungry and is owned by us, it is our responsibility to feed it. If an animal feels pain when it is bitten, then we don't have to do it! The third type of people that harm animals are some people that are involved in animal production, pet breeding, and traditional healers that use animal products as an ingredient. Don't get me wrong, I didn't say all, but some of them have a cruel handling and management system that leads the animal to be malnourished, distressed, and unable to express its natural behavior. It is just to get the maximum benefit from it. This kind of people may or may not have the knowledge about animal welfare. I personally believe problems are solved by having a strict law that governs and controls a responsible animal production system that understands and protects animals. Since beyond their contribution to human beings, animals have feelings and basic needs like humans, and hence, it is necessary to improve and alleviate animal welfare challenges that they face in different contexts. I am glad that the new Ethiopian Animal Health and Welfare Proclamation (No. 1376/2017) Article 25 clearly defines the responsibility of an animal owner and in (2) mentions "an animal husbandry practice that may cause pain or suffering or discomfort to animals is prohibited." (I will write more about this in Amharic soon) The last type of people are those who have compassion for animals but don't know how to do what is best for them. Do you know anthropomorphism? Anthropomorphism is the attribution of human characteristics, emotions, or intentions to non-human entities, such as animals, objects, or natural phenomena. Due to this phenomenon, some people make animals live differently from their nature, and some people are kind enough to rescue animals but don't know about diseases that affect them and how to protect them! This harm is caused not by cruelty but by a lack of knowledge.

Its Your Birthday Boy😁 | Turned 24 | Tbh 23 was beautiful, it had a lot of main events in my life, I started the year being Rotaract Kuriftu's President. This challenged me and pushed me to the limit and I saw myself as a strong and dedicated leader who does not sleep having a task to do. The opportunity and responsibility to be a leader made me know myself better and Love him! I lost my Puppy Layla, Layla was through all my Campus journey she was my emotional support and hype😁 I enjoyed her presence and was heartbroken when I lost her suddenly. 💔 This year is my last year as a DVM student we will start our Internship Aka Externship in the veterinary world. I prepared and presented my first Literature review. I know its a simple thing but I dreamed to Present it well and nailed it. And am grateful about it. በልብ ያለን ሀሳብ ሰሞሮ ማየት የልብ ያደርሳልና። you remember ቢሾፍቱ የዘነበውን በረዶ? እኔ ስከታተለው የነበረው ቀጥታ ከክፍሌ ነበር ( Coz my ጣሪያ ቆርቆሮ was ለጎዳናው😁) በጣም የምወደው አንድ ነገር መሞከር ነው። በተለይ በዙርያዬ ሊደረግ የሚችል ሆኖ ሳለ የተተወ ወይንም ያልተስተዋለ ነገር ሳስተውል ወደ መሆን ለማምጣት መሞከር ደስ ይለኛል። I tried more than 12 projects this year, Some are community based and some are within my profession, Im glad አብዛኛዎቹ ተሳክተዋል። with the help of ቀና ሰዎች and people eager to change. ያልተሳኩትም ቀላል የሚባሉ አይደሉም። ነገር ግን ያስተማሩኝ ብዙ ነው! ትንሽዬ ጓሮ ያለው ቤት የሚኖሩ ቤተሰቦች ያሏችሁ Consider Having Poultry farm as a retirement hobby for your parents. የዶሮ እርባታ በ small scale በጣም ቀለል ያለ ነው። በእየለቱ የሚያርጓት ትንሽዬ ስራ ይሰጣቸዋል። መኖ መጥኖ መስጠት ቤቱን ማጽዳት ፣ ከVet ጋር መወያየት ፣ መድሃኒት እና ክትባት በቀጠሮ እንደተሰጠ ማደጋገጥ እንቁላል መሰብሰበብ፣ ለቤት የሚሆነውን አስቀርቶ ወስዶ መሸጥ። እኝህ እንቅስቃሴዎች ቤት ውስጥ ከመቀመጥ ድብርት እና እንቅስቃሴ ካለማድረግ ከሚመጡ በሽታዎች በመጠኑም ቢሆን ይጠብቃቸዋል። ደግሞ የሆነ ስለሚያሰሩት ነገር ሲያወሩ ደስሰ ይላሉ። Here አከራዮቼ እንዴት ደስ የሚሉ ጥንዶች እንደሆኑ። They keep there farm as a pet shelter even if its a poultry farm. ለፋርማቸው የሚሆነውን በጠዋት ተነስተው ሲከውኑ እንዴት ደስ እንደሚሉ። ግድ የለም Take them as a role model እና ስድት ያለች መጠነኛ የዶሮ እርባታ ከጓሯቸው አዘጋጁላቸው። You will thank me latter and ofc I will give you a free advice how to start. #HaSab ለቅዳሜያችን! ብዙ ሰዎች Animal welfare እና Animal rightsን ተመሣሣይ አድርጎ ስለሚጽፍ እዚህ ጋር አንድ ነገር ልበል። በእንስሳት ጉዳይ የተለያዩ አስተሳሰቦች አሉ። ያው አስተሳሰባቻችን ካለንበት ማህበረሰብ እሳቤ ፣ ሀይማኖት ጋር ቁርኝት ያለው ቢሆንም ጠቅለል አድርገን በሦስት ከፍለን መመልከት እንችላለን። 1. Pro-animal use ይህን ሀሳብ የሚከተሉ ሰዎች The use of animals to save life of human being and others is "absolutely essential" ብለው የሚያምኑ ናቸው። ሰዎች እንስሳት የመጠቀማቸው ጉዳይ የግድ ነው አይነት አኪያሄድ ነው ያለቸው ለአብነት የ Pasteurን በውሻ ላይ ያደረገውን experiment በመጥቀስ "Human and animals would still be dying from Rabies if Pasteur Hadn't experimented with dogs." ብለው ይከራከራሉ፣ በተለይ ለምርምር እንስሳትን አንጠቀም የሚል አሳብ የሚያበሽቃቸው አይነት። 2.Welfarists/ Utilitarianism የእንስሳት ደህንነት This accepts the uitility status of animals as long as animals suffering is minimized as much aa possible, and believe animal suffering is morally relevant. ለምግብነት ማዋልን ጨምሮ እንስሳትን በመጠቀም የሚያምኑ ሲሆን ነገር ግን አላስፈላጊ የሆነ ስቃይን በማስወገድ የሚያምኑ ናቸው። እንስሳትን ለጭነት መጠቀም እንችላለን ግን ከአቅማቸው በላይ አይሁን፣ እንስሳትን መመገብ እንችላለን ግን የሚሞቱበት መንገድ ስቃይ ያለበት አይሁን የሚሉ ይዘቶች ያላቸው ሀሳቦች የሚገዟቸው ሰዎች ያሉበት ነው። የእንስሳት ደህንነት እንስሳት አምስት መሠረታዊ ፍላጎቶች እንዳሏቸው ያምናል -ምግብ እና ወሃ የማግኘት -ከህመም ፣ ከመቁሰል እና በሽታ መራቅ -ተፈጥሯዊ በሃሪን ማንጸባረቅ - ጥሩ ምቾት የማግኘት (መጠለያ) - ከፍርሃት እና ጭንቀት የመራቅ የእንስሳት ደህንነት በአንፃራዊነት ከሌሎቹ ይልቅ በብዙ ሀገራት ተቀባይነት አለው። አንድ ሀገር የእንሰሳት ደህንነት ህግ ማርቀቅ አለማርቀቋ በእንስሳት ተዋጽኦ ኤክስፖርት ንግዷ ላይ (በተለይ ከአውሮፓ ሀገራት ጋር በምታደርገው) ቀጥተኛ የሆነ ተጽእኖ አለው። አውሮፓዎቹ በምንም አይነት ሁኔታ እንስሳት ደህንነታቸው ባልተጠበቀ ሁኔታ ተይዘው የተመረቱ ነገሮችን አትቀበልም። ሀገራችንም የእንጽሳት ደህንነት ረቂቅ አዋጅ ዘንድሮ ነው በህዝብ ተወካዮች ምክር ቤት ያጸደቀችው። 3. Abolitionist / Animal right የእንስሳት መብት Animal rights are moral principles grounded in the belief that non- human animals deserve the ability to live as they wish, without being subjected to the desires of human being. እንስሳትን እንዳሻቸው እንዲኖሩ እንፍቀድላቸው የሰው ልጅ የተፈጥሮ የበላይ ነኝ ሁሉ ነገር ለኔ ነው የተፈጠረው egoን ይተው አይነት ይዘት ያለው እሳቤ ነው። Animal rights come into direct opposition with animal exploitation, which includes animals used by humans for a variety of reasons, be it for food, as experimental objects, or even pets. Animal rights can also be violated when it comes to human destruction of animal habitats. I met a young man in a taxi. He called my name, and I got a little confused. His face was not familiar. He also mentioned my high school friends, and I knew he was from my village. Then he said, "I’m your two-year junior. You advised me about the national exam and about dedication to a dream." Then I remembered him. I saw a hunger to be quenched and a desire to be valuable in life in that kid. He asked me, "How did you manage academics and your extracurricular activities, which made you famous back then?" I told him what I felt. To be honest, I was not sure about my future. I was wondering and asking myself how to make my life valuable. I was figuring out what life is—still in the process—but I was sure that doing so would pay off. I do remember saying, "ደግሞ ትልቅ ቦታ ደርሰን ይሄን ቀን ቁጭ ብለን እናስታውሳለን," and he is now in the Aviation Academy, training to be a pilot. He is on the path to making his dream come true. I never imagined "ትልቅ"would feel this ቅርብ. For me in high school, it seemed sooo far away, but it’s not. We exchanged numbers to keep in touch. This made my day. Even if you are not sure what the future holds, never give up on your dream. "Que sera, sera... Whatever will be, will be." 💙
