Why our eyes are red from lack of sleep? Eyes need a certain amount of time to regain their natural moisture level after a day's work. They rest at night, but if those precious hours of sleep are stolen from them, they will retaliate with redness. In winter, the redness is more pronounced, because at this time, the moisture outside freezes, and indoors, it is dried by the heating. 🚨Source : @HeathSafetyTps

How harmful is salt? Salt is an inorganic compound, sodium chloride. Both sodium and chlorine are necessary for the nervous system - without them, like potassium and calcium, it will not conduct signals. Salt is needed to maintain an environment in the body in which cells stay alive, don't lose water and don't get too much of it. With sweat and urine, we lose salt, so it must be consumed every day. Its deficiency leads to severe disorders of the nervous system, low blood pressure, muscle spasms, leaching of minerals from bones and destruction of muscles. Excess salt causes high blood pressure and leads to water retention in the body - edema. It is especially dangerous for hypertensives and people with kidney disease. As you can see, salt is necessary for our body, the main thing is to know the measure... 🚨Source : @HeathSafetyTps

Can I take my medicine with milk? Yes, but not all, let me clarify... You can take Aspirin with milk, as it softens the irritant effect on the mucous membranes of the stomach and esophagus. Unless you have an intolerance to it! ❗️You can wash down anti-inflammatory, painkillers, iodine-containing, anti-tuberculosis and hormonal drugs, vitamins, and potassium preparations with milk. 📕But you should not wash down heart medications, tetracycline antibiotics and enzymes with milk - they simply stop working. 🚨Source : @HeathSafetyTps

Don't smoke after meals. Smoking after meals is one of the worst things you do for your health. Immediately after eating, nicotine binds the oxygen needed for digestion, causing the body to absorb more carcinogens. Even one cigarette after a meal is very dangerous because it greatly increases the risk of certain cancers, such as colon and lung cancer. Smoking after a meal causes as much damage to the body as 10 cigarettes smoked one after the other. 🚨Source : @HeathSafetyTps

Physical activity is the best way to prevent diabetes. Active muscle contractions are accompanied by the consumption of large amounts of fast energy, which is provided by glucose. With sufficient activity, glucose is fully absorbed by the muscles, which means that its content in the blood is normalized. Optimal physical activity is regular visits to the gym (at least 3 times a week). But if there is no such possibility, a 30-minute jog or active walking at least on weekdays is enough. However, to reduce excessive weight you will need more active exercise, which is accompanied by a greater expenditure of energy, and therefore leads to the breakdown of fat. 🚨Source @HeathSafetyTps

Posture and the respiratory system: the hidden relationship. Poor posture, in particular a rounded back, prevents the lungs from expanding fully when breathing in, and less air will enter them. The so-called vital capacity of the lungs also depends on the position of the head. When it is strongly tilted, the lung capacity decreases by one third. This means that the body will not get enough oxygen - there will be oxygen starvation of all organs. First of all it will affect the work of the brain, but it will also affect the cardiovascular and respiratory systems. It so happens that in modern conditions the posture suffers a lot and vitally needs correction, especially this rule is relevant for children and adolescents. So, work on your posture not only for aesthetics, but also for health (including the respiratory system. 🚨Source : @HeathSafetyTps
