The stress hormone cortisol and burnout If you have a disrupted sleep-wake rhythm, your cortisol rises dramatically. In this case you are constantly in a state of chronic stress. This will lead to increased nervousness, rushing and fatigue, and guaranteed physical and mental health problems. But worst of all, the increased cortisol will cause your adrenal glands (they're the ones that secrete it) to "burn out." The way out of this situation: Get tested for cortisol when you feel something is wrong. If you have a hard time waking up, feel drowsy in the first half of the day and awake in the second half, are annoyed by everything and are constantly stressed, take a saliva test for cortisol. Remember, stress is one of the major enemies of your long and healthy life! It's a contributing factor in 90% of the diseases we know of today. 🚨Source : @HeathSafetyTps

Eat less salt: no more than 6g a day for adults Eating too much salt can raise your blood pressure. People with high blood pressure are more likely to develop heart disease or have a stroke. Even if you do not add salt to your food, you may still be eating too much. About three-quarters of the salt you eat is already in the food when you buy it, such as breakfast cereals, soups, breads and sauces. Use food labels to help you cut down. More than 1.5g of salt per 100g means the food is high in salt. Adults and children aged 11 and over should eat no more than 6g of salt (about a teaspoonful) a day. Younger children should have even less. 🚨Source: @HeathSafetyTps

Ginkgo Biloba - 🧠 herb It's a leaf of the ginkgo tree, which is native to China & one of the oldest plants on the planet, having potential to treat Alzheimer's disease & age-related mental decline. It's believed that it works by thinning the blood & thereby improving oxygen flow to the brain. The brain is a glutton for oxygen, so it's possible that even a slight lack of circulation can affect its performance. Gingko improves both attention & memory, but as a brain booster for people with normal mental abilities, it remains controversial. #foods 🚨Source: @HeathSafetyTps

Lemon Water Lemon water is made just by squeezing some lime in warm or cold water. Pure lemon juice can erode the tooth enamel (due to Citric acid), so it’s important to dilute it with water. Lemon juice with warm water helps in quick weight loss as it promotes digestion & increases the metabolic rate. It's health benefits are limitless, & all due to Citric acid & Vitamin-C. What I prefer is - Drink lemon juice with lukewarm water on an empty stomach every morning. I usually add pinch of Turmeric & a spoon 🥄 of Honey🍯 in it. #health 🚨 Source @HeathSafetyTps
