scribbled diary

I have been broken down into a million pieces and I've put myself back together like a mosaic time and time again. Each time becoming less fragile. Each time I've become stronger and more aware of my surroundings. watching closer as to where I step and who I allow to get near. I am a work of art that has been refurbished more than once, made new with all of my old pieces. So although over time I may have changed, I am made of all I ever was.

Maybe right now is not the time for love or relationships but the time to find yourself. Maybe you spent so many years trying to secure trickles of meaning in other people's words that it's time for you to turn to yourself for love. For value. Maybe the time you spent pouring your softness into others was supposed to be spent with yourself, in your own company, turning to your own arms for the comfort and love that you sought for in others. And that's why this is not the time for relationships or love. That's why this is the time for you to turn to yourself to do the necessary soul-searching. To heal. To learn and grow and get closer to becoming the person you need yourself to be.

so, if the universe ever allows you to fall in love again, i hope it is with someone who stays :)

Repeat after me. Everything is happening for me as it should. It is all aligning perfectly. All of the things that I am currently experiencing are only taking me to the next level. I am growing. I am getting better. My hard work will pay off very soon. I choose to believe in sudden miracles and unexpected blessings.

You’ve been in situations where you thought you’d never make it out, but you did. You’ve lived through it. You’ve learned from it. You’ve survived. So whatever it is that you’re going through right now, you’ll get through that too. Believe it! You are resilient!

sometimes people need to understand that you are not ignoring them, you are just trying to exist in every quiet way possible because you don't have the same energy everyday to connect with others or even yourself. you just want to sit in a quiet place with nothing in your mind.
