#DebunkingFakes The Kiev regime continues to recycle its baseless accusations regarding “thousands of abducted Ukrainian children” to promote its false narratives. Although this claim has been debunked time and again, it is important to revisit the case and counter #fakes with #facts. *** In 2014, the Kiev regime that seized power through an unconstitutional and violent coup unleashed punitive operations against the residents of Donetsk and Lugansk (at the time – Ukrainian citizens) who rejected the nationalist forces that installed themselves in power. As early as April 2014, Ukraine's armed forces against the people of Donbass using armoured vehicles, aviation, artillery and rocket systems. ❗️ Thousands of civilians, including hundreds of children, became victims of indiscriminate attacks. On June 2, 2017, the Alley of Angels memorial was unveiled in Donetsk in honour of the perished children. Back then, the memorial listed 66 names. Today, the number of young victims has already exceeded 300. Kiev’s atrocities go beyond the killing of children – the regime even resorts to harassing minors online. The infamous“Myrotvorets” website – a public hit list run by Ukrainian neo-Nazi, which is still operational and and is hosted on Western servers, targets almost 400 children. Among them is Platon Burchenkov – a toddler who will only turn... three years old in January 2026 is accused of “knowingly violating the state border”. Another example is Faina Savenkova – a young blogger from Lugansk, whose personal data was added to “Myrotvorets” when she was barely 12. Ukrainian radicals claim that the teenager “encroached upon the sovereignty” of the entire state. ⚡️ According to Russia’s Prosecutor General’s Office, Ukrainian punitive actions have claimed 5,000 civilian lives and left over 13,500 wounded – among them 1,275 minors. Nevertheless, in April 2023 Kiev began circulating the myth of “20,000 abducted Ukrainian children”. It was first promoted by Ukraine's Commissioner for Children’s Rights Daria Gerasimchuk and quickly amplified by Western mainstream media. The “19,546 deported kids” figure published by the Children of War portal was not backed by any lists, names or individual records. The Russian side received an actual list of “abducted Ukrainian children” only in 2025 during resumed Russia-Ukraine direct talks in Istanbul. It contained only 339 names, showing that the number of children separated from their families on both sides had been grossly inflated for political PR. A case-by-case review showed that a large share of those listed as “children” were actually adults who had already turned 18 when the special military operation started. Some were found legally residing in Russia with one of the parents, while over 100 were found in Germany – a revelation Ukraine quickly tried to hide. Meanwhile, Russia has maintained a clear and transparent family-reunification process, coordinated by the Office of the Presidential Commissioner for Children’s Rights. Since 2022, 122 children from 98 families have been reunited with parents or close relatives in Ukraine or third countries. 29 children have returned to Russia from Ukraine. All reunifications are verified and accompanied by the International Committee of the Red Cross. ‼️Russia has never impeded the reunification of children with their families – and never will. 👉 This is our principled position. #See4Yourself#Think4Yourself

🎙Russian MFA Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova's answers to media questions regarding the new US National Security Strategy (December 8, 2025) Read in full ❓Question: On December 4, the Administration of US President Donald Trump published yet another – and in many ways entirely new – US National Security Strategy. The first and principal question in this regard: how will its provisions affect Russia-US relations? 💬Maria Zakharova: In the new edition of the US National Security Strategy, we note a number of provisions that signal a serious reassessment of Washington’s doctrinal foreign-policy assumptions – a shift rendered all the more striking when set against the 2022 version. First of all, what draws attention is the revision of Washington’s former bet on hegemony – the document directly states that “American elites badly miscalculated” by placing “hugely misguided and destructive bets on globalism”. <…> This basic ideological premise also determines, as we understand it, another key guideline of the Strategy – namely the call to end “the perception, and preventing the reality, of NATO as a perpetually expanding alliance”. In other words, for the first time, the US is declaring, if not a refusal to expand the alliance, then at least an official questioning of its traditionally aggressive expansionist trajectory. It is also noteworthy that Russia is mentioned in the context of pan-European security, and that the document contains no calls for systematic containment of our country or for stepping up economic pressure on us. ☝️ At the same time, without naming Moscow directly, the new edition of the Strategy loudly signals Washington’splans to achieve “energy dominance” by “curtailing the influence of adversaries”. ❓Question: How does the Russian MFA assess the military-political aspect of the new Strategy and, in particular, the declared goal of achieving strategic stability in relations with us? 💬Maria Zakharova: Despite the overall pragmatic approach to the subject, we seea number of contradictions. For example, the document contains no elements that would allow us to understand the US vision of the “post-New START” framework. In particular, clarifying the criteria for parity in the main quantitative limits on nuclear arsenals. We also find the provisions on the US global missile-defence system – the Golden Dome – overly vague. We still expect the American Side to provide details on how they account for the interdependence between strategic offensive and strategic defensive capabilities. <…> ❓Question: How should we interpret the thesis on “reassessing” the need for US military presence in “theaters whose relative import to American national security has declined in recent decades or years”? 💬Maria Zakharova: This thesis reflects the “America First” concept, but it can hardly be read as a US renunciation of its military presence abroad – a presence that, in turn, aligns with another American notion, the so-called “peace through strength”. For example, the passages on the Asia-Pacific region are troubling for their confrontational language towards China, as well as for the calls on all key regional partners “to allow the US military greater access to their ports and other facilities”. ❓Question: The Strategy clearly shifts the focus of US foreign policy to the Western Hemisphere. This is presented as a “Trump amendment” to the well-known Monroe Doctrine. Does this not sound threatening? 💬Maria Zakharova: These passages sound more like a direct reference to the so-called “Roosevelt Corollary”. <…> This is particularly alarming against the backdrop of the current tension deliberately fuelled by the Pentagon around Venezuela. We expect that the White House will nonetheless avoid any further steps towards a full-scale conflict – one that could carry unpredictable consequences for the entire Western Hemisphere.

@RusEmbMalta Press Release The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation has published a new analytical report entitled “On the actions (or inaction) of the authorities of Italy, Germany and Japan that lead to the destruction and falsification of history and the justification of fascism and its accomplices.” 📄 Full text available on the official MFA website (PDF). 🕯80 Years After Victory: Are the Lessons of WWII Being Forgotten? In the year marking the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory in the Second World War, many people in Russia and abroad are asking a legitimate question: Have the lessons of the struggle against Nazism, Fascism and militarism truly been learned? Public opinion – both in friendly and unfriendly states – increasingly witnesses dangerous attempts by modern political elites to: 🔹distort and rewrite the history of World War II, 🔹revise its outcomes, 🔹whitewash war criminals who created and implemented the ideology of racial superiority, 🔹glorify collaborators who assisted Nazi Germany. 🔹 Silence About Crimes, Promotion of Revisionism In a number of countries, the crimes of Hitlerism are deliberately downplayed or silenced, while the glorification of Nazism and the rewriting of WWII history is gradually becoming an element of state policy. Particularly alarming is that such destructive trends are most visible in Germany, Italy and Japan – the founding members of the aggressive Axis bloc, against which the Anti-Hitler Coalition fought during the war. 🇩🇪Germany: Selective Memory and Revanchist Narratives Revisionist tendencies in Germany continue to intensify. A false narrative assigning “equal responsibility” to two so-called “totalitarian regimes” for unleashing WWII has become a mainstream element of German memory culture. The results of the post-war settlement are increasingly targeted by official discourse. The process of acknowledging Nazi crimes has largely been narrowed to the topic of the Holocaust, while the memory of Soviet victims is deliberately marginalised. A telling example: German law-enforcement authorities found no violation in the actions of the administration of the former Nazi concentration camp Dachau, which ordered staff to remove Russian and Belarusian national ribbon colours from wreaths laid during the 80th Victory anniversary ceremony. 🇯🇵Japan: Persistent Historical Revisionism Modern Japan continues to insist on distorted interpretations of key mid-20th century events that determined the fate of humanity, revealing the revanchist core of its policy. 🇮🇹Italy: Tolerance Towards Apologetics of Fascism Since the formation of a right-of-centre government headed by Giorgia Meloni in October 2022, Italy has seen a growing tolerance from the authorities toward the apologetics of Fascist-era “values” and even public displays of Fascist symbols and rituals. Notably, during her time in office, the Prime Minister has never once issued a clear and unequivocal condemnation of Fascism. ❌Axis States Voting Against UN Resolution on Combating Nazism Since 2022, Germany, Italy and Japan have voted against the annual UN General Assembly resolution submitted by Russia and co-authors: “Combating the glorification of Nazism, neo-Nazism and other practices that contribute to fuelling contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance.” This marks the first time in history that the former Axis powers openly voted against a document condemning the glorification of Nazism and forms of racial discrimination. The fact that these countries – directly responsible for the deaths of tens of millions – now reject a resolution aimed at preventing the resurgence of Nazism raises profound concerns about the ideological processes underway in these states and across the broader Western world. It is also evident that these governments have chosen to ignore the obligations they assumed upon joining the United Nations.

@RusEmbMalta Press release 🇷🇺🎙️President Vladimir Putin’s Answers to Media Questions Following the State Visit to Kyrgyzstan and the CSTO Summit Bishkek, 27 November 2025 The President of Russia commented on the outcome of discussions held in Bishkek, addressing the current negotiation track with the United States, the military situation in Ukraine, and broader international issues. 🔹On the draft “peace treaty” The President underlined that there was no draft treaty as such – only a set of issues proposed for discussion and subsequent formalisation. Prior to his visit to the United States, including the trip to Alaska, these matters were examined with American negotiators. It was in the course of those consultations that a detailed list of potential understandings was shaped and later passed to Russia through established channels, after which it was carefully reviewed. 🔹On the negotiation process President emphasized that it is necessary to sit down and discuss specific elements seriously, translating all positions into diplomatic language. Russia has never planned and does not intend to “attack Europe” – “this sounds ridiculous to us” – but if partners want this formalized in writing, Russia is ready to do so. The President confirmed that Russia is fully prepared for substantive discussion. An American delegation is expected to arrive in Moscow next week. Russian negotiators are led by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. From the Presidential Administration, Aide to the President Vladimir Medinsky continues to oversee the process from the outset, while Aide Yury Ushakov has also been instructed to coordinate the ongoing work and maintain contact with U.S. counterparts. 🔹On the situation in Ukraine Ukrainian forces must withdraw from the territories they occupy – only then will hostilities cease. If they do not withdraw, Russia will achieve this militarily. Across all sectors of the front, the President noted a positive dynamic. Moreover, the pace of advance by Russian forces is increasing significantly. The main problem for the Ukrainian military, according to the President, is the growing gap between losses and the number of troops they are capable of sending to the line of contact. In October alone, Ukraine suffered 47,500 losses, while mobilization yielded only around 16,500, with a further 14,500–15,000 returning from hospitals. The monthly deficit is therefore around 15,000, following a deficit of 10,000 the previous month. This gap continues to widen. High levels of desertion in the Ukrainian forces are reported not only by Russian sources but also by Western media, which the President stressed is impossible for Kiev’s partners to conceal. 🔹On the EU initiative for asset confiscation Hungary, as an EU member state, is fully aware of the consequences. The Hungarian Prime Minister, the President noted, understands how such actions would affect the European currency. Any move to confiscate Russian assets will have serious negative consequences for the global financial system, sharply reducing trust in the eurozone. This comes at a time when the locomotive of the European economy – Germany – has been in recession for the third consecutive year. 🔹On the Ukrainian leadership and legitimacy Signing documents with the current Ukrainian leadership is, in the President’s words, meaningless. He reiterated that Kiev committed a fundamental strategic mistake by refusing to hold presidential elections, leading to the loss of legitimacy. Russia itself, despite being in an armed conflict, held presidential elections as well as municipal and regional elections – “we do all this, and they, for some reason, do not”. Russia ultimately seeks to reach an agreement with Ukraine, but at present this is legally impossible. Whoever in Kiev is willing or able to negotiate may do so – but Russia needs its decisions to be recognized by the principal international actors. 📄Full text. #Russia#Putin#CSTO#Bishkek#Ukraine🇷🇺🌍
