🗓 Today we commemorate #ElbeDay, dedicated to the historic encounter between Soviet and American forces on the banks of the Elbe River. On April 25, 1945, the two allied armies met for the first time near Torgau in Germany. 🤝 On April 24, Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had a traditional meeting with the leadership of the Association of European Businesses in Russia and multiple European trade and industrial associations. During the event, the Russian side assessed the current geopolitical situation and emphasised risks linked with the increasingly greater politicisation of the trade and economic interaction sphere. The participants openly exchanged opinions on a number of current foreign policy issues, including foreign business operations in Russia.

🇷🇺🇹🇷Посольство Российской Федерации в Турецкой Республике и другие российские консульские загранучреждения вынуждены констатировать, что авиакомпания «Турецкие авиалинии», в частности, её представительство в Стамбуле, несмотря на наши неоднократные обращения продолжает практику отказа российским пассажирам, направляющимся транзитом через Стамбул в страны Латинской Америки (Аргентина, Бразилия, Мексика, Панама и ряд других) в посадке на рейсы. При этом сотрудники авиакомпании либо не предоставляют никаких внятных объяснений причин отказа, либо ссылаются на установленные указанными государствами правила въезда. В частности: ✔️наличие у пассажира единого / сквозного номера бронирования авиабилета (PNR) по маршруту туда – обратно (например: Москва – Стамбул – Сан-Паулу – Стамбул – Москва); ✔️наличие у пассажира подтверждения бронирования гостиницы, а также кредитных карт и денежных средств; ✔️отсутствие различий между датами авиарейсов и датами бронирования гостиницы; ✔️осуществление транзитного перелета внутри стран Латинской Америки в течение не более 24 часов; ✔️наличие у пассажира багажа помимо ручной клади; ✔️наличие у пассажиров, указавших целью поездки «обучение, работа и т.д.», соответствующих подтверждающих документов (должны быть нотариально заверены и переведены на английский язык); ✔️готовность пассажира дать четкие ответы на поставленные вопросы относительно целей поездки; ✔️наличие в системе авиакомпании т.н. «okey to board» – подтверждения, получаемого авиакомпанией от страны следования. Представители авиакомпании утверждают, что соответствующие требования размещены на ее официальном сайте и потенциальные клиенты имеют возможность с ними ознакомиться. Подтверждаем, что это действительно так - данная информация доступна на английском и турецком языках. Вместе с тем, вопреки нашим настоятельным обращениям, перевод на русский язык авиакомпания на своем сайте пока не разместила. Согласно поступающим к нам данным, в ходе разбирательств с российскими гражданами, которым было отказано в посадке на рейсы в Латинскую Америку, представители «Турецких авиалиний» не дают никаких письменных объяснений по поводу причин происходящего, а порой ведут себя откровенно некорректно. ❗️Ситуация осложняется тем, что сотрудники российских консульских загранучреждений до сих пор не имеют права прохода в транзитную «чистую» зону аэропорта города Стамбула и, соответственно, лишены возможности на месте осуществлять свои обязанности по защите прав и интересов граждан Российской Федерации. ☝️В складывающейся обстановке вынуждены рекомендовать россиянам, которым указанная авиакомпания отказывает в посадке на рейс, следующий порядок действий. 🔹Незамедлительно связаться с Генеральным консульством России в Стамбуле по телефону экстренной связи +90 (530) 941-03-68 и электронной почте [email protected] и сообщить о произошедшем. 🔹Направить письменный запрос в авиакомпанию для получения документального подтверждения факта отказа в посадке на рейс, по возможности, с указанием его причин. 🔹Принять меры по объективной фиксации соответствующего случая (видео и фотосьемка, запись разговора с представителями авиакомпании). 🔹Подать судебный иск по месту жительства заявителя против авиакомпании с ходатайством о возмещении материального и морального ущерба, нанесенного действиями авиаперевозчика (подача иска в турецкий суд на национального авиаперевозчика «Турецкие авиалинии», видимо, не имеет перспектив).

🗓On April 19, 1783, Empress Catherine the Great signed a manifesto on the accession of Crimea, Taman Island and Kuban region into the Russian Empire. Prince Grigory Potemkin, Governor-General of Novorossiya, played one of the key roles in the accession and development of Crimea. In June 1783, on top of Mount Aq Qaya, he personally received the oath of allegiance to Russia from the Crimean nobility and common people.
