🇷🇺 On October 31, the Club of the Russian Embassy in Cambodia hosted a concert dedicated to the #UnityDay. Students and teachers of the Embassy School told the audience the history of the holiday and the special meaning it has acquired these days, paying attention to the richness and diversity of the cultures of the peoples living in our country. H.E. Mr Anatoly Borovik, Russian Ambassador to Cambodia, and his Spouse, the diplomatic staff of the mission and members of their families, as well as compatriots residing in the Kingdom attended the event. #UnityDay2025

Учащиеся и учителя Школы при Посольстве рассказали об истории праздника и его особом значении в наши дни, уделив внимание богатству и разнообразию культур народов, населяющих нашу страну. On 23 October, the Delegation of the Russian Federation to the Vienna Negotiations on Military Security and Arms Controland Ambassador-at-Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Rodion Miroshnik, co-hosted the international teleconference "On the road to liberating the LPR." The event brought together representatives from over 30 world capitals from all the continents, including from the OSCE, ASEAN and CIS countries, Russian and European journalists as well as residents of the Lugansk People's Republic of the Russian Federation. Members of the Senate of the Kingdom, Cambodian Human Rights Committee, local media organizations and diplomats of the Russian Embassy attended the event as well. The main speakers who made presentations at the teleconference were: Rodion Miroshnik, Ambassador-at-Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, lieutenant colonel Andrey Marochko, a military expert, public figure, and official representative of the LPR People's Militia (2014-2019), Olga Kobtseva, Representative of the LPR in the humanitarian subgroup of the Contact Group on the internal Ukrainian settlement (2015-2022), Inna Shvenk, LPR Commissioner for children's rights, Faina Savenkova, a representative of the children of Donbass, and Janus Putkonen, a Finnish journalist and political analyst. Eyewitnesses and victims of the war crimes committed by the AFU shared their accounts of events in the LPR. During the discussion, diplomats (high-ranking representatives of the Foreign Ministry and the Defense Ministry of Nicaragua, Irada Zeynalova, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Mauritius, Lev Kvitsinia, Minister of Emergency Situations of Abkhazia, Alexander Lukashevich, Permanent Representative of Russia to the OSCE), journalists and bloggers from around the world discussed the situation in Donbass. Key takeaways from the discussion: ✔️ The current military and political situation in Donbass is not only a matter of the internal conflict in Ukraine, but part of a much broader picture. Ukraine has become a bargaining chip in someone else's geopolitical game. ✔️ The Global Majority countries are getting a clearer understanding that the real goal of the West is not to protect democracy, but to use the conflict to strengthen their own positions and maintain control over global processes, including by provoking instability in other regions. ✔️Russia has consistently advocated the need to protect the civilians of Donbass which for many years have been systematically terrorized by the Kiev regime. The shelling of residential areas, targeted attacks on civilian infrastructure, looting, obstruction to the evacuation of civilians, and social and economic blockade are not abstract accusations, but documented facts. ✔️ Russian diplomacy continues to bring the facts of the crimes committed by the #AFU against civilians of Donbass to the attention of international structures and platforms. Accounts of the victims of the Kiev regime, who are not afraid to tell about their tragic experience, make an invaluable contribution to an objective picture of what happened. ✔️ We hope that amid these efforts, more international partners will assess the situation relying on real facts and understanding the consequences for ordinary people. We are grateful to all the international intermediaries for their attention to the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict. We know that we have like-minded people who understand Russia's position regarding Ukraine and proceed from the need to eliminate the root causes of the conflict.

📆 23 октября Делегацией Российской Федерации на переговорах в Вене по вопросам военной безопасности и контроля над вооружениями и Послом по особым поручениям МИД России Р.В.Мирошником проведен международный телемост по теме «На пути к освобождению ЛНР». В мероприятии приняли участие слушатели из более 30 мировых столиц со всех континентов, в том числе из стран ОБСЕ, АСЕАН, БРИКС и СНГ, члены российского и европейского журналистского сообщества, а также жители Луганской Народной Республики Российской Федерации. К телемосту подключились представители Сената Королевства Камбоджа, местного Комитета по правам человека, СМИ, а также сотрудники РЗУ. В качестве основных докладчиков выступили Посол по особым поручениям МИД России Р.В.Мирошник, военный эксперт и общественный деятель, официальный представитель Народной милиции ЛНР (2014-2019 гг.) подполковник А.В.Марочко, Представитель ЛНР в гуманитарной подгруппе Контактной группы по внутриукраинскому урегулированию (2015-2022 гг.) О.А.Кобцева, Уполномоченный по правам ребёнка в ЛНР И.В.Швенк, представитель детей Донбасса Ф.В.Савенкова, финский журналист и политический аналитик Я.Путконен. Подробностями военных преступлений ВСУ в ЛНР поделились их свидетели и жертвы. В ходе дискуссии представители дипломатического сообщества, журналисты и блогеры из различных регионов мира обсудили ситуацию в Донбассе. Ключевые итоги дискуссии: ✔️ Современная военно-политическая ситуация в Донбассе – это не только вопрос внутреннего конфликта на Украине, а часть гораздо более широкой картины. Украина превратилась в разменную монету в чужой геополитической игре. ✔️ В странах Мирового большинства все отчетливее понимают, что реальная цель Запада – не защита демократии, а использование конфликта для укрепления собственных позиций, удержания контроля над глобальными процессами, в том числе через провоцирование нестабильности в других регионах. ✔️Россия последовательно отстаивает необходимость защиты мирного населения Донбасса, которое на протяжении многих лет подвергалось систематическому террору со стороны киевского режима. Обстрелы жилых районов, целенаправленные удары по гражданской инфраструктуре, мародерство, препятствие эвакуации мирного населения, социальная и экономическая блокада — не абстрактные обвинения, а задокументированные факты. ✔️ Российская дипломатия продолжает доводить до сведения международных структур и площадок факты преступлений со стороны #ВСУ в отношении гражданского населения Донбасса. Неоценимый вклад в формирование объективной картины происходившего вносят свидетельства жертв киевского режима, которые не боятся рассказать о своем трагическом опыте. ✔️ Надеемся, что на фоне этих усилий все большее число международных партнеров будут оценивать ситуацию на основе реальных фактов и понимания последствий для обычных людей. Благодарны всем международным посредникам за их неравнодушие в плане урегулирования конфликта на Украине. Знаем, что у нас есть единомышленники, которые с пониманием относятся к позиции России по Украине, исходят из необходимости устранения первопричин конфликта.

On October 29, H.E. Mr Anatoly Borovik, Ambassador of Russia to Cambodia, paid a visit to the Thai Embassy in Phnom Penh to honour the memory of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, who passed away on October 24, 2025. The head of the Russian diplomatic mission left a record in the Book of Condolences, where he expressed profound sympathy to the Royal Family, the Government and the people of Thailand.
