29 октября Посол России в Камбодже А.В.Боровик посетил таиландскую дипмиссию в Пномпене, где почтил память Её Величества Королевы-матери Сирикит, скончавшейся 24 октября. Глава российского дипломатического представительства оставил запись в книге соболезнований, в которой выразил сочувствие Королевской семье, Правительству и народу Таиланда.

По этому торжественному случаю Посол России в Камбодже А.В.Боровик направил монарху поздравительное послание. On this solemn occasion, H.E. Mr Anatoly Borovik, Russian Ambassador to Cambodia, sent a congratulatory message to the Monarch. The Head of the diplomatic mission praised the Sovereign's achievements in strengthening national unity and harmony, which have earned His Majesty the love of His subjects and the respect of foreign partners.

📅 On October 28, 2025, on the sidelines of the 47th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, H.E. Mr Alexei Overchuk, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, held talks with Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia. 🇷🇺🇰🇭 The Sides discussed the current state of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries and prospects for its development, including the implementation of joint projects in energy, agriculture, and industry. Given the advanced agricultural sector of the Cambodian economy, the opportunities for increasing the import volume of Russian fertilizers, establishing cooperation in the field of seed production, and expanding the list of agricultural products for mutual supply were stressed. Enhancing transport interconnectivity between the countries and creating new supply chains received special attention during the talks. Aspects of the implementation of significant humanitarian projects were also raised. Russia expressed its readiness to assist in the reconstruction of the Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital, which was constructed with the support of our country, upon receiving the necessary technical specifications and proposals from the Cambodian Side. #RussiaCambodia

📅 28 октября «на полях» 47-го саммита АСЕАН и сопутствующих встреч в верхах в Куала-Лумпуре, Малайзия, Заместитель Председателя Правительства Российской Федерации А.Л.Оверчук провёл переговоры с Премьер-министром Королевства Камбоджа Хун Манетом. 🇷🇺🇰🇭 Стороны обсудили текущее состояние и перспективы развития торгово-экономического сотрудничества двух стран, включая реализацию совместных проектов в энергетике, сельском хозяйстве, промышленности. С учетом развитого аграрного сектора камбоджийской экономики особое внимание было уделено возможностям увеличения объемов импорта российских удобрений, налаживания связей в сфере семеноводства, расширения перечня сельскохозяйственной продукции для взаимных поставок. Отдельной темой переговоров стали вопросы совершенствования транспортной взаимосвязанности России и Камбоджи и создание новых цепочек поставок. Обсуждались аспекты реализации значимых гуманитарных проектов. Россия выразила готовность к содействию в реконструкции ранее построенного при поддержке нашей страны Госпиталя кхмеро-советской дружбы по получении необходимых технических параметров и предложений камбоджийской стороны. #РоссияКамбоджа

🗓 On October 23, Sochi (Russia) hosted the 5th #ASEAN-Russia Dialogue on ICT Security-Related Issues under the co-chairmanship of Russia 🇷🇺 and Myanmar 🇲🇲 on the sidelines of the Kuban CSC-2025. 🔹️The meeting reiterated the willingness of Russia and ASEAN Member States to promote interagency cooperation in finding effective solutions of issues related to the ICT security. 🔹️Particular attention was paid to the issues of combating the use of ICT for criminal purposes, capacity building through personnel training, exchanging experience. 🔹️The parties welcomed the upcoming signing of the UN Convention against Cybercrime (Hanoi, October 25-26) and confirmed their readiness to strengthen cooperation on international information security within the UN and its specialized agencies, including the International Telecommunication Union, as well as at regional venues. 🔹️It was agreed to hold the next round of the ASEAN-Russia Dialogue on ICT Security-Related Issues next year.

✍️ Prosecutor General of Russia Alexander Gutsan signed the UN Convention against Cybercrime on behalf of the Russian Federation 📍 Hanoi, October 25, 2025 The document was drafted at the initiative of the Russian Side, i.e. Prosecutor General’s Office under the coordinating role of the Russian Foreign Ministry and is 👉the world’s first international treaty dedicated to information security.

📄Greetings from President of Russia Vladimir Putin to participants and guests of the signing ceremony of the UN Convention against Cybercrime(October 25, 2025) ✍️ Ladies and gentlemen, I congratulate you on the occasion of the signing of the UN Convention against Cybercrime. This truly historic event has become possible thanks to the support by the majority of the world’s nations for the initiative proposed by Russia in 2019 to draft a universal international treaty aimed at countering the criminal use of information and communication technologies. It is important that, despite the difficult international situation, diplomats and law enforcement representatives of UN member states were able to join efforts, draft and agree on the text of this crucial document. The Convention is designed to confront one of the global challenges of our time – unlawful activities in the digital sphere. Crimes of this nature, often closely linked with terrorism, the spread of extremist ideologies, and the illicit trafficking of drugs and weapons, pose a serious threat to the security of both individuals and entire states. ❗️I would like to stress that Russia stands ready for the closest cooperation with all interested partners in combating cybercrime. 8️⃣0️⃣ years ago, on October 24, 1945, the Charter of the United Nations entered into force. This date marks the founding day of the UN. The idea of creating a universal international organisation to maintain peace emerged during World War II. In 1943, at an international conference in Moscow, the foreign ministers of the USSR, the United States, the United Kingdom, and China signed a declaration that laid the foundation for the future United Nations. In February 1945, at the Yalta Conference, the leaders of the three Allied powers – Stalin, Roosevelt, and Churchill – decided to convene a conference in San Francisco, where on June 26, 1945, 50 states signed the UN Charter. The establishment of the United Nations marked the beginning of a new era in human history and became a natural outcome of World War II, expressing the global community’s determination to prevent such horrible massacre from ever happening again, and to resolve conflicts through consensus and compromise. #UNCharterIsOurRules: Russia has consistently advocated the strengthening of the central coordinating role of the UN in global affairs. Strict compliance with the letter and spirit of the UN Charter is an indispensable condition for advancing towards a more peaceful, prosperous and truly just and equal world order. 💬 Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov: “We have always upheld the principles of the UN Charter, which we consider to be perfectly applicable norms of international law codified in the most important international legal document of the international community, which comprehensively sets out the organisational standards of international relations.” 📜 Today, 80 years later after its adoption, the words of the United Nations Charter Preamble once again affirm their relevance: WE THE PEOPLES OF THE UNITED NATIONS DETERMINED to save succeeding generations from the scourge of war, which twice in our lifetime has brought untold sorrow to mankind… HAVE RESOLVED TO COMBINE OUR EFFORTS TO ACCOMPLISH THESE AIMS. The Founding Fathers of the UN envisioned its purpose as serving as a centre for coordinating the nations’ activities. 👉 The outstanding Russian diplomat Vitaly Churkin, who served as Russia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations from 2006 to 2017, aptly described the UN’s role in today’s world: “The United Nations has proven its ability to change along with transformations of the international system. At the current stage of turbulence in global affairs, it is crucial to preserve its prestige based on the enduring and truly democratic principle of sovereign equality of all states, without dividing them into the leaders and the led.” These words resonate with another famous statement by the second UN Secretary-General (1953–1961), Dag Hammarskjöld: “The United Nations was not created in order to bring us to heaven, but in order to save us from hell".

🕊23 октября исполнилось 34 года со дня подписания Парижских мирных соглашений 📄 В ходе второй сессии Парижской конференции 21-23 октября 1991 г. были подписаны Cоглашения о всеобъемлющем политическом урегулировании камбоджийского конфликта; суверенитете, независимости, территориальной целостности и неприкосновенности, нейтралитете и национальном единстве Камбоджи, а также Декларация о восстановлении и реконструкции Камбоджи. Эти документы положили начало комплексному процессу национального примирения. Будучи одной из первых, кто поддержал Камбоджу после освобождения от режима "красных кхмеров", наша страна активно содействовала её восстановлению и реализации достигнутых во Франции договорённостей. 🇷🇺🇰🇭 Москва была и остаётся близким другом и надёжным партнёром Пномпеня, приверженным укреплению двусторонних связей и углублению сотрудничества, а также сохранению мира, стабильности и процветания народа Королевства.
